"You’re not coming over?"

When Selena contacted the Golden Dragon again and heard his unequivocal refusal to join the excitent, she was sowhat surprised and asked.

"I don’t have ti right now."

Noah showed his foster mother Selena his offspring, which was the large white ball still radiating brilliant holy light.

"Isn’t Gwen helping you guard?"

"I still don’t feel reassured."

"...Who would dare attack your palace?"

Selena was silent for a while, then couldn’t help but retort.

Even she found it difficult to determine how many Legends resided in Noah’s territory. So of the old fellows even made her feel extrely apprehensive, unclear about their origins, unwilling to provoke them.

"Just in case."

Noah’s tone was unusually sincere,

"I only have this one child, perhaps the only one I’ll have in this lifeti. I have to be careful, I don’t want any accidents."

"I really can’t stand you. What could possibly go wrong?"

Selena felt an urge to pick up a scepter and give Noah a hard knock on the head.

This dragon had been holed up in his territory for a century, finally willing to co out for a grand adventure, but now he’s just delivered an egg and trapped himself in his territory again, unwilling to move, never seen such a dragon before.

"Everything is for the child, you should be able to understand ."

"Ah!!!"

The Legendary Mage in the appearance of a young girl hysterically roared at the Golden Dragon opposite her,

"I don’t understand at all."

"Isn’t it just about watching the excitent? Whether I go or not, it doesn’t make much difference, right."

Noah sensed sothing was off from his foster mother’s attitude.

"What do you an it doesn’t make much difference? Do you have so misunderstanding about your current strength? Do you really think that those little guys’ sches can succeed?"

Selena retorted.

Awakened Noah, in today’s world, should be at so level of an ecological niche, but she couldn’t give a specific answer, though she had a general judgnt in her mind.

"Well, if there’s no interference from external forces, their chances of failing and crashing are greater."

Noah pondered for a while, giving an answer, although the Immortal King, who had been severed by a sword and then forced into sleep, looked likely to have his coffin lid pried, to be ground to dust amidst the betrayal of minions in collusion with the outside forces.

But the issue is, this Immortal King is not truly an undead; he is a Divine Bone co to life, fundantally different, to genuinely harm him, one must break through the defense of the Divine Bone.

With just the pseudo-divine artifact in Parvati’s hand, Noah thought, it’s tough to break through the defense of the Divine Bone and talk of prying open the Immortal King’s coffin lid.

It’s the sa with the Divine Descent, even the arrival of Blazing Sky Old Deng proved that rely manifesting an avatar couldn’t suppress the Immortal King.

"So, you can’t not co."

"No ti."

Without consideration, Noah refused, whether it’s Wayne or Parvati, if they crash, they crash, and with their background, even if they encounter failure in such situations, they can still withdraw intact.

"What if I say I need you?"

Faced with Noah’s repeated refusals, Selena still did not give up,

"I have an Eye of True Vision here, a peculiar item made from the main eye of a True Vision Lord. I’ll send it over to you later, and through it, you’ll have my full vision and be able to keep tabs on the situation on-site at any ti."

"The Eye of True Vision!"

Noah knew that what they called the True Vision Lord was essentially an advanced, exceedingly special Legendary Beholder, and the artifact made from its main eye was naturally top-tier in the world, a prized treasure.

"This giant eyeball is the paynt for hiring you, regarding when you need to act, just wait for my call, okay?"

Selena looked very earnest.

"Aunt, are you hiring ?"

"So, do you accept?"

"Of course."

Noah couldn’t find a reason to refuse, as his foster mother was already handling matters in accordance with the Dragon Clan’s regulations.

"Then it’s settled!"

A giant eyeball made by a Legendary Beholder was soon sent to Noah. Though it might sound disgusting, being made from a creature’s organ into magic ornants, in reality, the eyeballs left behind by a deceased Beholder looked like gems of crystalline texture, highly in line with the Dragon Clan’s aesthetics.

"So beautiful!"

Seeing the Eye of True Vision clasped in Noah’s paw for fiddling, Gwen, diligently collecting various nourishing items for Noah’s offspring, brightened up at the sight.

"Do you like it?"

Noah glanced at Gwen,

"Then after I finish using it, I’ll give it to you."

"Are you really that generous?"

Gwen felt a sense of being flattered. Although this is the Golden Dragon who raised her, getting such a high-grade piece of magic ornant from him truly made her feel a bit incredulous.

"It’s the reward you deserve; you’ve worked hard during this ti."

"It’s what I’m supposed to do, after all, I’m the elder sister."

Gwen imdiately understood what Noah ant by the deserved reward.

"But you’re only the elder sister, it’s not your obligation."

"Hehe, then when can you finish using it?"

"Hard to say, I have to wait for your grandmother’s notice."

The efficiency of the elves in handling matters is indeed exasperatingly low, but this assassination, although initiated by the elves, is not led by them.
