"But if things keep developing like this..."

Noah sneered at the Elves’ foolishness and quickly recalled the prophecy that Parvati had once revealed to him about fate.

Wayne, acting under his command, was the first to get involved in this disaster, and now his sister had also stepped in, quickly rising to a high position. The two were in opposing factions, in a relationship of irreconcilable enemies.

It was only natural that the siblings would et as enemies on the battlefield, given the current circumstances, as if it were all part of fate’s plan.

"Damn fate!"

Noah spat out, taking out a small piece of amber, toying with it between his claws. Inside the amber was a slender branch, seemingly casually broken off, just barely shaved, even using it as a toothpick would be difficult,

"I’m curious to see just how powerful this so-called fate really is."

Despite his words, the Golden Dragon added another layer of seal to the amber in his claws.

Not only that, Noah also communicated with his grandnephew, informing Wayne of the prophecy.

"I can’t step onto the battlefield, nor would I et her;if it weren’t for your arrangents, I wouldn’t even be here now."

Wayne also scoffed at the so-called prophecy. Even though his sister had joined the ga, he didn’t believe they would et because his position in the Undead Kingdom was at the decision-making level; he didn’t go to battlefields.

"Act according to the situation, and if sothing goes wrong, retreat imdiately."

Though Noah hadn’t invested in Wayne much early on, he had poured a lot of effort into him later on; he didn’t want any disastrous outcos to occur.

In the following years, although the Undead Calamity continued to spread in Central Earth, it beca relatively stable. The three forces entered a kind of stalemate, achieving a peculiar balance.

Everyone seed to understand just how fragile this balance was.

While there were rumors from the undead side about the Immortal King awakening ahead of ti, most legendary undead resisted their king’s premature awakening.

In recent years, the Elf Court had been lively, mainly due to the distribution of power that was firmly held in the hands of the Silver Moon Princess, Parvati.

After having received support from the Temple, the Princess had mysteriously also gained the support of the Elf Queen.

Then, against the backdrop of the mass undead invasion, Parvati began reforming the elf military, restructuring and reorganizing it from top to bottom.

She naturally faced resistance from the conservative faction against her reforms, but the Silver Moon Princess adhered to the principle of using severe asures in troubled tis, hitting those who dared to obstruct or oppose her.

Thus, in recent years, the Elf Court’s Capital Sainfelen had been shrouded in tumult and bloodshed, with nurous elf dignitaries eting their end under Parvati’s blade of reform. She even publicly executed royal family mbers, even when the Queen herself interceded in vain.

Through such iron-fisted internal suppression, the military reform orchestrated by Parvati also saw positive feedback on the battlefield, with initial success visible.

No longer would the elf army sacrifice lives needlessly due to foolish decisions or delayed information.

Parvati rely brought the elf army up to the normal level she deed appropriate, earning her extravagant praise from the lower and middle ranks of the Elf Court, especially the army’s loyalty.

Many elves chose to support Parvati not just out of faith but also out of their own interests because this foreign princess wouldn’t embezzle military funds or skimp on rewards, and she wouldn’t look down on anyone based on their elf lineage or background.

Even a Wood Elf, as long as they could secure enough achievents on the battlefield could be rembered and rewarded by her. She would even personally report to the Queen for the knighting of a Wood Elf.

With paychecks fulfilled and military achievents properly rewarded, Parvati simply accomplished everything she believed a military commander should, bringing over all she witnessed in the Augustus family, making her a spiritual leader of the Elf Court.

Not just ordinary elf civilians, the restructured elf army was filled with fanatical admirers of Silver Moon Princess Parvati from top to bottom.

No one cared that this Silver Moon Princess wasn’t of High Elf descent, nor did they mind that this foreign princess had human lineage.

If anyone dared to slander or attack the Silver Moon Princess on these grounds, the army would dare wield their blades against these greedy and corrupt old nobles, teaching them what the true bloodline of the High Elves ant.

In contrast to the bustling within the Elf Court, the Atlas Kingdom seed much calr, primarily because after discovering that the undead side hadn’t made any significant moves, they started consolidating the land taken from the undead, building fortresses, and relocating the families of the Knight Order.

Originally, such border settlent policies would certainly face resistance; however, Uranos brought along his eldest son, Alexander, along with so mbers of the Augustus family.

The Monarch, accompanied by the Crown Prince and a part of the royal family personally stationed at the frontier land, quelled any dissent from frontier nobles rewarded in this territory. Could anyone be nobler than a Prince, or hold a higher status than a King?

"This seems a bit off!"

As the despairing trend of the Undead Calamity seed to reverse, Noah pored over the map of the Xilantia continent and found more and more discrepancies the longer he looked.

The Augustus family seed to be harboring aspirations to dominate the continent. Although it was just a sprout at present, if things continued developing this way, it would seemingly co to fruition, with the Augustus family even able to claim the Kingship.

"Parvati, do you wish to replace them?"

Noah stared at the vast dark green central on the continent map, representing the core area of the Elf Court and Capital Sainfelen, the largest elf gathering place on the continent, rumored to host eight million elves and be the stronghold of the elf race in this world.

According to the information he had, Parvati had beco the acknowledged Sage of this great forest, with many civilians and lower-ranked soldiers believing she was sent by the Seven Gods to save the Elf Clan and lead them back to splendor.

Such fa was sothing even the Queen lacked. In fact, Parvati’s actual standing within the Elf Capital Sainfelen had reached a position second only to the Queen.

If she were powerful enough on her own, Parvati could completely usurp the Elf Queen, replacing her and ascending the throne as the true Queen.

As for the issue of her bloodline, under the identity selected by the Seven Gods, it held no significance in ntions, only serving as a reason for Parvati’s followers to attack.

"You’ve learned a lot, but unfortunately, your own strength accumulation isn’t sufficient."

Noah could see the problem his demigod grandniece currently faced: she had gained support from the vast elf lower classes, but severely infringed upon the interests of the High Elves and many nobles.

She hadn’t expanded the pie, only snatched a portion from the nobles’ mouths to divide among the lower classes, thus garnering the support of a broad base of civilians and the military.

The only reason there wasn’t an issue yet was her status as the Seven Gods’ chosen, but that wouldn’t hold forever if things continued.

"But I don’t need to worry about you."

Noah slowly closed his eyes, as ti passed, he was finally nearing the end of his current age bracket. Gentle drowsiness, like autumn leaves in the wind, was insignificant, yet deepened and accumulated gradually,

"My centennial birthday is approaching. I wonder if I can make it past my birthday, though it doesn’t matter. Once I beco a Young Dragon, I should naturally ascend to beco a Legend."
