"Confird, in the Great Graveyard, there’s a Death Angel nad Angel, appointed as the graveyard overseer by the Immortal King Wuzi. She has authority over all the undead except for the Immortal King, and is second only to the King of Undead in terms of status and rank."
Noah relayed the newly received information to the now indifferent Angel.
"Your subordinate, has he been promoted again?"
Ophelia looked at the Golden Dragon, now only wanting to confirm this news.
"Yes, he has just been appointed by the Immortal King as the Southern Military Governor, overseeing the military affairs of twelve Undead Cities in the south, responsible for repelling all external interferences."
Noah also spoke with a deeply reflective tone.
Before sending this grandnephew, he had a premonition that this grandnephew would bring him rather good results, but he didn’t expect the surprise to be this great.
"Are you really sure he hasn’t betrayed you?"
"You’ve asked this question a thousand tis, or at least eight hundred, and I can still confidently tell you, there’s no way he would betray ."
Though Noah felt so wavering in his heart, he was still unequivocal when facing the Angel’s question, expressing his unwavering trust in his grandnephew,
"Hasn’t he delivered enough of these intelligence reports? The northern land of the dead, descended upon us, has beco entirely transparent to us, and we have a comprehensive grasp over their organizational structure and military deploynt."
The core of all the Undead Cities being built and expanded in the north is the initially descended teor. The essence of these teors cos entirely from the central Great Graveyard.
All Undead Cities are part of the Great Graveyard, aning they are constructed from its fragnts and therefore possess various incredible abilities.
For example, all Undead Cities have the function of continuously producing undead. Bury bones into the soil of an Undead City, and in just a day, they can be transford into Skeleton Soldiers.
No necromancer needs to be involved, and not only that, the soil of the Undead City can sowhat enhance all undead.
For example, with the lowest-level Skeleton Soldiers, just bury them in the soil, and in three days at most, they will evolve into more robust Skeleton Warriors. With a longer incubation ti, they can eventually evolve into Skeleton Warriors with bone armor and bone weapons.
This is still the basic function of an Undead City. Different Undead Cities can nurture a varying number of high-rank undead... Banshees, Dark Knights, Corpse Witches, Abominations, Bone Dragons.
No transformation rituals or necromancer involvent required, just need to throw in the materials, naly bones, and wait.
The more powerful the undead, the longer it takes, but even so, it is quite terrifying because it takes about nine days to make a Golden Level Dark Knight.
Though the premise is to bury a corpse of at least a Radiant Gold Level Knight into the soil beforehand, it is quite astonishing.
A legitimate necromancer, even with sufficient materials, would take years, at least, to have such an undead servant at their command, but the Undead City simplifies nurous complex ritual processes and greatly shortens the ti.
Even with a fragnted state of the graveyard now split into dozens of Undead Cities, for a necromancer, each Undead City’s value is higher than a Divine Artifact.
Even Noah, as an outsider, can see the value of an Undead City and even get a bit tempted. Any Monarch with strong ambition and a desire for conquest wouldn’t want to miss such a Divine Artifact that can endlessly produce troops.
As for the undead desecrating corpses, does it matter?
"He indeed transmitted enough intelligence, but can you guarantee the authenticity of this information? What if he is deceiving you?"
"What loss does that have for ? You’re the one who needs the intelligence, not ."
Noah was rather indifferent,
"You are also the one who needs to verify the truth, not ."
"Don’t you feel that doing this is highly irresponsible?"
Ophelia clenched her fists.
"Not at all, I sent my best subordinate. I think that demonstrates my sincerity enough."
"Give the coordinates of the Great Graveyard."
"I’ve already told you that you’re too impatient, and you wouldn’t listen. That Immortal King and his overseer love going out and are unpredictable in their movents.
Even if you want to retrieve your comrades’ remains, you should wait until you can confirm they are out and not in the Great Graveyard."
Though there was intelligence sent by the grandnephew, there was no visual data. Hence, Noah’s understanding of the Great Graveyard is just a dead creation resembling a Floating City but more exaggerated, considered the Holy Land of the Necromancy School.
Attacking an Legendary Mage with a Floating City is quite foolish, and similarly, targeting this Immortal King of the Great Graveyard is equally foolish, at least until he leaves the Great Graveyard.
Noah felt that even if the Great Angel himself ca, it might not be enough to take him down.
"How much longer must I wait? I’ve been waiting for nearly three years."
Ophelia grumbled, though the hospitality of the Golden Dragon was outstanding, and she liked the territory, her unfulfilled purpose for descending troubled her.
