The black-purple evolution light completely enveloped the Rank 5 Skyclaw Eagle, forming a cocoon of void and draconic energy that pulsed like a living heartbeat.

Every fluctuation sent ripples of pressure through the air, making even the mountain tremble faintly.

The Eagle Spirit stared at the evolving Skyclaw Eagle, unable to hide the shock in its eyes.

The three Quasi–Soul Transformation Realm Skyclaw Eagles standing with the Eagle Spirit were no better.

Their sharp gazes were locked onto the cocoon, their breathing subconsciously slowing down as they sensed sothing they had never felt before.

Dragon aura.

Void aura.

Both intertwined so perfectly that it made their bloodlines tremble in reverence.

’This... this is real...’

The Eagle Spirit felt its heart pound violently.

From its senses alone, it could clearly tell that this was not an illusion, nor so temporary enhancent. This was genuine evolution—one that reshaped the very foundation of a beast’s bloodline.

[Estimated Evolution Ti: One month.]

On the other hand, looking at the Evolution Ti, Ethan’s heart sank slightly.

According to the system’s mission, the Void Feral Demon General would invade the Feral Mountain Realm within seven days.

But the evolution ti displayed before him was one full month.

That was far beyond his expectations.

’This is troubleso...’

Calming himself, Ethan glanced at the Eagle Spirit again. Seeing the unmistakable shock and hesitation in its eyes, he decided to press forward.

’I need to convince it... now.’

Despite being hopeless, Ethan asked the Eagle Spirit, "Is this enough for you to acknowledge as your master?"

"I can see that you have the Divine Ability to trigger evolution in beasts," the Eagle Spirit finally spoke, its voice steady but cautious.

"However, I will only acknowledge you after confirming that there are no side effects or negative consequences on the evolved beast."

Its gaze flicked toward the cocoon of light.

The evolution light alone was enough proof that the Skyclaw Eagle was indeed evolving.

What’s more, the Eagle Spirit could clearly sense the intertwined Dragon and Void attributes within the cocoon.

But it did not relax.

Acknowledging Ethan as its master ant handing over not only its own fate, but also the fate of the entire Skyclaw Eagle Tribe.

From its ancestral mories, the Eagle Spirit rembered countless records of failed evolutions.

So beasts lost limbs.

So were twisted into hideous, deford existences.

And the worst cases... they lost their sanity and turned into mindless monsters.

Because of that, the Eagle Spirit remained extrely cautious and agreed to acknowledge Ethan as its master only after the evolution.

"I will acknowledge you," it said firmly, "only after the evolution is completed and I confirm there are no unwanted effects."

’...’

Ethan remained silent for a mont.

If there were no seven-day deadline, he would have been completely satisfied.

After all, the Eagle Spirit had already made its stance clear—as long as the evolution succeeded without any negative effects, it would acknowledge him.

And he was very confident in the Skyclaw Eagle’s evolution as he had never once failed before.

But ti was the one thing he lacked.

By the ti one month passed, the Void Feral Demon General would have already descended.

"Sorry to say this," Ethan finally spoke, his tone calm but urgent, "but we are running out of ti."

Since the Eagle Spirit needed a confird evolution, Ethan quickly thought of sothing else.

Taking a deep breath, Ethan continued, "How about this—give two more Skyclaw Eagles. I’ll evolve them using evolutionary paths that require less ti."

The Eagle Spirit frowned slightly.

"The Void Dragon Eagle is the strongest evolution. Naturally, it requires more ti. But the other two... they will be faster."

This was what Ethan thought of and thus asked for two more Rank 5 Skyclaw Eagles.

He wanted to shock everyone with the Void Dragon Eagle’s evolution; however, he forgot about the Evolution Ti.

So, he could only try out the other two less powerful evolutions to quickly prove his ability.

’...’

The Eagle Spirit didn’t answer imdiately.

Instead, it turned its gaze toward the three Quasi–Soul Transformation Realm Skyclaw Eagles.

The mont their eyes t, they excitedly nodded, their wings fluttering slightly as if unable to suppress themselves.

Dragon evolution.

Even if it wasn’t Void Dragon evolution, it was still dragon-type.

How could they not be curious?

How could they not be excited?

Currently, their chances of reaching the Soul Transformation Realm were less than 10 percent; however, if they could undergo even the weakest dragon-type evolution, their chances would drastically increase to 50 percent or even higher.

Thus, these three protectors of the Skyclaw Eagle Tribe were practically begging with their expressions.

Seeing this, the Eagle Spirit hesitated... then finally let out a slow breath.

’Screech.’

A short cry echoed.

In the next mont, two more Rank 5 Skyclaw Eagles walked out from Eagle Mountain, passing through the protective barrier and stopping before Ethan.

Their eyes were filled with nervousness—but also anticipation as they had briefly heard what this was about from the Eagle Spirit and volunteered themselves.

"Let’s start."

Ethan didn’t waste ti.

1) [Evolution Na: Storm Dragon Eagle]

[Requirents:]

[1) 100,000 low-level Bestial Stones]

[2) 10 Perfect Quality wind-type Spirit Fruit or Grass]

[3) 200 Million Life Points]

....

2) [Evolution Na: Thunder Dragon Eagle]

[Requirents:]

[1) 120,000 low-level Bestial Stones]

[2) 30 Perfect Quality Thunder-type Spirit Fruit or Grass]

[3) 250 Million Life Points]

Soon, he satisfied the requirents for the first two evolutions, which were much easier than the Void Dragon Eagle’s requirents.

[Storm Dragon Eagle – Estimated Evolution Ti: 10 Days]

[Thunder Dragon Eagle – Estimated Evolution Ti: 15 Days]

System notifications appeared one after another; however, when Ethan saw the numbers, his brows furrowed slightly.

’Still longer than I expected...’

Even the fastest one required ten days.

That was already beyond the seven-day deadline.

For the first ti since arriving at Eagle Mountain, a trace of anxiety surfaced in Ethan’s eyes.

’This is getting tight...’

The evolution lights began enveloping the two Skyclaw Eagles as well, filling the air with roaring wind and crackling thunder.

Three evolutions.

Three dragon paths.

But ti... ti was becoming his greatest enemy.

’System, is there any way to speed up the evolution ti?’

After not finding any plan, Ethan could only ask the system about it, and surprisingly, there was a reply from the system.

’T-this...’

Looking at the multiple options ntioned by the system, Ethan felt relieved.
