Hearing what Robert was saying, but still he was convinced.

even if he was a massager, that would still have noticed sothing already.

Or Perhaps see it in his actions, he would definitely have said the na of his master or sothing.

And to give it enough thought, a massager has the pin to a card.

that doesn’t sound right to him.

even though he tried to think the family must be super powerful or rich.

this would be the first ti he was seeing sothing like this.

"Maybe," he muttered. "But sothing about him feels... different."

As the two n watched Ethan disappear through the exit, their conversation dwindled. While Robert dismissed him as insignificant, Nicholas couldn’t shake the feeling that Ethan was more than he seed.

A ssenger or not, there’s sothing about Ethan that he doesn’t understand just said.

At that mont Ethan stepped briskly through the auction hall, his presence commanding enough that many of the attendees hesitated to approach him.

However a few still tried, calling out polite greetings or subtly attempting to strike up conversation, but Ethan’s focus remained unbroken. His strides were purposeful, and with each step, the distance between him and the curious crowd grew.

Once outside, Ethan slid into his car, letting out a quiet breath. That was more attention than I needed, he thought, shaking his head. Let them talk. He started the engine and headed toward Serenity’s residence, the glow of the city lights illuminating his path.

As he neared the grand estate, he noticed that the driveway was already packed with cars, and the faint sound of music and laughter carried through the air. The event was well underway. Ethan parked discreetly, stepping out of his car with the small yet elegant box containing the red gemstone necklace in hand.

Walking toward the entrance, he could see the flow of the event through the large windows. Guests mingled, the atmosphere lively, and near the center of the space was a table piled high with ticulously wrapped gifts.

’Looks like I’m late for the main event,’

Ethan thought, his pace quickening.

Getting Inside, and without wasting anymore ti he located the gift table and placed his box among the others.

The necklace was inconspicuously wrapped in simple yet tasteful packaging just as he requested, standing out not because of extravagance but because of its understated elegance. This isn’t about flash—it’s about aning, he reminded himself.

However Just as he was about to step back, Serenity’s voice called out from across the room.

"Ethan!" she exclaid, weaving her way through the crowd with a bright smile.

At that mont Ethan turned, nodding slightly in acknowledgnt. Serenity reached him, her tone excited yet warm. "You’re finally here. Grandma’s been waiting for you. Co with ."

Without wasting anymore ti Ethan followed Serenity as she guided him toward a section of the residence reserved for close family. The space was more intimate, with fewer people and a quieter atmosphere, though it still buzzed with the energy of celebration.

As they entered, Serenity’s grandmother spotted them and smiled, gesturing for Ethan to sit beside her. Serenity leaned in, her voice soft.

"She wants you to join us—like family," she said, her words carrying a warmth that Ethan found both comforting and surprising.

Ethan took his seat, his posture relaxed but his mind alert.

At that mont the family mbers greeted him with varying levels of curiosity and politeness, so clearly wondering about his presence. Ethan, as always, kept his expressions neutral, offering polite nods where necessary.

The room quieted as the family spokesperson stood and addressed the group. His voice carried a tone of tradition and formality.

"Unlike our friends and guests, who have placed their gifts in the designated section," the spokesman began, "family mbers will present their gifts personally, one by one."

Upon hearing what the man just said.

Ethan leaned back slightly, his fingers resting on his knee as his thoughts swirled. This wasn’t part of the plan, he realized, glancing briefly toward the gift table where his box now sat.

A part of him wondered if Serenity had known this and chosen not to tell him, or if this was just another layer of expectation in an evening already full of them.

Well, he thought, his expression calm despite the slight tension brewing inside, if it cos to it, I’ll figure out what to say or perhaps go get the ring. He refocused on the scene unfolding before him, waiting for the next move with quiet anticipation.

However ethan froze in his seat, his mind racing. Did I hear that right? He glanced toward the gift table, the small box he’d placed there now seeming miles away. He turned to Serenity, his voice low and laced with quiet panic.

"I already put my gift on the table."

Upon hearing what Ethan just said.

Serenity smiled, though there was a flicker of amusent in her eyes. "Then you’ll just have to go and get it," she said lightly, clearly finding his unease more entertaining than troubling.

At that mont Ethan took a breath, pushing down the sudden wave of discomfort.

This wasn’t supposed to be a spectacle, he thought, standing from his chair with reluctant grace. As he began making his way toward the gift section, his calm exterior betrayed none of the inner turmoil. "Why didn’t anyone ntion this part of the tradition?"

he said to himself.

But just as he was a few steps in, the spokesperson’s voice rang out again, stopping Ethan in his tracks. "No need to rush, young man," the spokesperson announced, his tone carrying a note of authority.

"We’ve already determined who will be presenting first."

Hearing what man just said.

Ethan paused, his heart sinking slightly as he turned back toward the front.

The spokesperson adjusted his glasses, holding up a small list of nas accompanied by photos. "According to the nas and pictures provided," he began, pausing for effect, "the first to present their gift will be... Ethan."
