''I apologize, master, for not doing a thorough investigation. '' Dan imdiately fell to his knees and begged for forgiveness.
They believed Raydon would recognize this mid-rank item holder, so it was of little concern to them who this person was. Additionally, they were less familiar with item holders and organizations than Raydon was.
But they realized their error, and everyone shared the sa thought in response to Raydon's perplexed query. 'Of course, we cannot expect a god to recognize a common mid-rank item holder.'
"Don't worry, forget about it." As Raydon said, he started to reflect.
'Trade Organization? Could it be the B-Rank old man I t at the item shop? '
In addition to understanding that B-Rank is middle rank, he also assud that Fang belonged to the Trade Organization. Raydon decided to ask him later after a few more attempts at putting the puzzle pieces together.
''So what's the ssage? ''
Dan breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Raydon's disregard for the situation, but vowed to himself that he'd do a better job the next ti.
Dan rose to his feet once more and retrieved a box from his dinsional storage. Then he mimicked the Shadow ssenger from before, bowed low, and respectfully handed Raydon the box.
"The ssenger said that his master, Fang the Butcher, wants to et you and sent this gift as a token of his goodwill."
''What? '' Raydon exclaid in surprise.
He was unable to comprehend the situation. He was aware of the differences in rank between item holders.
Herman, who was recently killed by Raydon, was a low-rank item holder, and probably the weakest of all of them. On the other hand, Raydon had so idea of the potential power of soone like Fang, who is a B-Rank item holder.
'Why is soone so powerful requesting a eting with ? Moreover, he sent a gift to express his goodwill. This situation is extrely suspicious.'
He cast a quick glance at Dan and the others before picking up the box and carefully inspecting it because he didn't want to confront this insane cult with questions. Not that he would learn anything useful from them, either.
When he opened the box, he saw a black sapphire ball with specks of black smoke floating in it.
'Is this storage expansion orb? ' Raydon was enthralled and curious. It had the appearance of a storage expansion orb, but it was slightly larger than Raydon's most recent green-grade one.
[Storage Expansion Orb.]
-Grade: Blue
-Quality: N/A
-Skill: Enchant
By using this item, users can increase the capacity of their dinsional storage by 8 square ters. *
-Mana Cost: None
-Duration: None
-Cooldown: None
'Wow, it really is. But why did he give this to as a gift? I can't even use this with my current dinsional capacity. '
Raydon was well aware that this item was extrely valuable. In fact, it would be the most expensive of all the blue-grade items he could find. After killing Herman, however, he realized the truth from the books he discovered after using his green-grade storage expansion.
If Raydon used this item right now, it would be a complete waste, as dinsional storage can only be expanded beyond a certain size with a higher-grade dinsional storage orb.
With a white-grade expansion orb, he could now increase his dinsional storage up to 100 square ters. However, in order to expand from 100 square ters to 3000, white-grade would no longer work and he would have to use green-grade dinsional storage expansion orbs. And the requirent was blue-grade after 3000.
The green-grade expansion orb that Raydon used to expand his dinsional storage from 4 square ters to 7 square ters was completely wasted.
After selling one green-grade dinsional storage expansion orb, he could likely purchase dozens of white-grade orbs. Consequently, Raydon's only options for this item at this ti were to keep it for future use or sell it for gold coins.
''Okay, thank you. '' Raydon said as he placed the expansion orb in his dinsional storage.
Raydon noticed that everyone was still staring at him and felt obligated to say sothing. ''You can now continue your training on your own. Now that Dan has mastered the technique, he can demonstrate the second phase. ''
''Yes, master.''
Then he turned and walked away from these lunatics, not looking back.
'Sothing is going on that I'm not sure about. Well, I'll find out sooner or later. '
Raydon pondered this as he walked down the street. Dan and his group's behavior were more exaggerated than he had anticipated, and he found it intriguing that a mid-rank item holder would request a eting with him in this manner.
But he didn't dwell on it much. In the end, his main goal in this world was to have fun while climbing to the top of the rankings. To that end, he would naturally make the most of any and all resources he ca across.
Raydon quickly found a driver and proceeded to the item market. In addition to selling the items in his possession, his goal this ti was to find the person who sent him the gift and to determine the reason.
After so ti, he arrived at the shop bearing the recognizable ''Other World Antique'' sign.
''W-w-w-hat a p-pleasant surprise, s-s-sir! '' Surprisingly, the shopkeeper was already there when Raydon walked in, and the old man ran over to greet him as soon as he saw him.
When Raydon turned to face the shopkeeper, he noticed that he was looking more anxious than ever. He had begun to wonder if the disappearance of the n he had found at Raydon's request for the mission was the cause of his anxiety before he heard the voice coming from the waiting seats next to him.
"Hehe, I found you. No one can rip off and then disappear. ''
When he turned to investigate the source of the noise, he saw a muscular man whose upper torso was completely bare and whose pale skin was missing in places. Additionally, it appeared as though the skin had been completely torn off of one side of his face, exposing his skull, and the right side of his breastbone and the still-beating heart behind it could be seen.
''Hm? Who ripped your dick off? ''
With a grin on his face, Raydon asked the zombie stall owner where he had previously purchased the earring that had the Despise skill.

*Changes to the term about the capacity to dinsional storage.
YxY → Y square ters.
(I saw that the old term was confusing because it was thought through the rubik's cube example, and I decided to fix it like this.
I will edit the previous chapters when I find ti, unfortunately, there is nothing I can do at the mont because I do not have an editor.)
