Freya looked at him, confused, as if the words he was uttering out of his mouth were unbelievable. After all, he was the strongest in the Universe. Second only to Father. Nova didn’t look at her, like a child afraid of getting scolded. She wasn’t mad, just interested in his proposal.
Freya spoke up, breaking the silence, breaking the awkwardness of the situation: "Well, I won’t lie. I half expected you to say sothing along these lines, so I’m not sure how exactly to react. I’ve noticed you’ve been very gloomy lately, and I want you to live your life the way you want. But at the sa ti, I know what I’m going to say is selfish, but I also want you next to . I don’t know if I can live without you."
Nova looked at her with caring eyes as he held her hand, interlocking them with the warmth of love. Then he said, looking at her with awe, a bright smile appearing on his face: "Don’t worry, I won’t be able to live without you; besides, we will be communicating with each other daily, so don’t worry about losing ."
Freya broke from her sadness, smiling at him, as Nova wiped a couple of tears from her eyes. Then they both laughed, realizing there was nothing to be worried about. They hugged, laughing, as Freya went back to caressing the new black hole and telling him about it.
She said, her voice as excited as a puppy receiving food: "So, I am thinking of putting it into the folds of the Andurian Veil. It’s far enough from the mortal systems, but close enough that I can keep an eye on it. You know how fragile they are, one wrong pull, and it’s all dust and mory."
Nova slightly tilted his head, a smirk appearing at the edge of his lips. "You’re such a good mother. The Outer Heaven goddesses should take notes from you, harboring so many celestial kids, who sohow beco angels, and even a couple of new gods, who are far more volatile than the mortals themselves."
"You know what? I should educate the Outer Heaven goddesses on how to handle their angels. Yeah, I might host a presentation day for everyone, since even the gods themselves in the Outer Heaven are irresponsible."
"I still like the way you’re babying them. It makes wonder how our child will co to fruition. Surely, and I an hopefully, it takes and manifests your genetics, because I am so impulsive."
"I made them," she said, offended. "The black holes are just my babies. Besides, you destroyed half their ancestors. Soone has to balance out your extinction tantrums. And I also hope they manifest my genetics, because Father knows, you’re impulsive."
He laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. "It wasn’t a tantrum. It was a cosmic correction."
She rolled her eyes, then turned her gaze back to the black hole with a kind of affectionate reverence that you would give your parents. "I think this one has potential. I can ld it, add so controlled ti slips, maybe even let the mortals observe it eventually. Give them a glimpse of what they’re not ready to understand."
Nova chuckled, a deep, warm sound that echoed faintly across the beautifully decorated room, which reflected life and energy. Freya joined in, her laughter lighter, almost musical, dancing between gravitational pulses like starlight on waves.
"Can you imagine their faces?" she said between laughs. "The mortals, I an. Staring up at the sky, watching this thing ripple with ti distortions, and all the while thinking it’s just a void."
Nova grinned, then said sarcastically: "And then, they’ll na is sothing poetic. God’s Breath, or The Eye of Eternity... never realizing it’s just your baby out on a little stroll. They probably won’t even be able to tell that it’s a black hole, since it’s going to be so massive."
Freya laughed harder, placing a hand on his shoulder for balance. "Chewing through spaceti! That’s exactly what it’s doing! You see that little spiral at the edge." She pointed for him to see what she was looking at, then added: ’It’s teething."
They both doubled over, helpless in their amusent, until their divine bodies glowed faintly with raw cosmic joy, an aura neither of them tried to suppress. Eventually, Nova exhaled, letting the laughter settle.
Just then, a knock on Freya’s door vibrated through the entire chamber. Both of them knew who it could be, so they decided to open the door and head out of the chamber. As they left the bed, another swift and sharp knock, louder this ti, exhaled against the door.
Nova opened the chamber to see a tall, his height, blond man in front of him. Even the guy’s eyebrows were blond, his eyes blond, and his entire avatar was blond, head to tail. The guy looked at them in anger, as if irritated by sothing very troubleso.
"You know how loud you guys laugh. It’s so annoying. And you," he stared at Nova, his eyes hinting at trendous jealousy. "You know you can’t just reincarnate in the mortal realm as you please. You have to oversee the God of Destruction in the Outer Heaven. You know that, right?"
Nova smirked at him, teasing the guy. Then he said, deepening his voice and asserting his dominance over Apollo, the Supre God of Light: "The God of Destruction in the Outer Heaven can take care of himself; I don’t even help him, since he’s smart enough to know what to do and what not to do. So, please, excuse if I want to live my life the way I want to."
Apollo grew irate, his hands sparking with the Divinity of Light, almost activating Luman Break, though after a second, he resisted the urge to sohow blow Nova to pieces. Apollo never liked Nova, and it was for one simple reason: He wanted Freya all to himself, like a sex slave. It was disturbing how much he wanted to be with Freya, to be one with Freya. But that never happened, since Nova didn’t treat Freya like a slave, and was much funnier than Apollo and better. He was like a refined version of Apollo.
