Lyralei snorted coldly, her fingers digging into her palms so hard that her nails bit into flesh. The anger boiling in her chest made her stomach ache.

"Hahaha, what a good show."

Da clapped slowly, his laughter echoing with mockery.

"However, I don’t care what you ca back to do. That woman is right—today, you will die."

"Hehe."

Ethan shook his head and laughed softly, as if he had just heard an amusing joke.

"Malrik and Arza of the Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets, as well as Enzo Vernal, the Supre Elder of the Vernal Clan, couldn’t even touch —and all of them lost their lives."

His gaze sharpened, murderous intent leaking like frost.

"Now you and a group of inferior Supres want to take my life... that’s nothing short of idiotic talk."

A furious shout exploded from the side.

"You fart!"

Solin appeared beside Da in a flash, pointing straight at Ethan’s nose as he cursed angrily.

"With your strength, how could you possibly be a match for the Supre Elder of my Vernal Clan?!"

His eyes burned with rage.

"You should know very well—the Supre Elder possesses the power of an Upper Supre! Even if you have a divine weapon, what can you do? You have no divine power, you can’t activate the artifact’s true might!"

Solin sneered viciously.

"You’re young and arrogant, I understand that. You want attention, I understand that too. But bragging like this will only make people laugh!"

After speaking, he chuckled, his tone dripping with contempt.

"Hahaha!"

Ethan laughed aloud.

He raised his hand casually, and a dark-blue jade pendant floated into the air.

The pendant was ancient and plain, yet it carried a heavy, oppressive aura—an unmistakable symbol of authority.

"Seeing how emotional you are," Ethan said calmly, "you must be from the Vernal Clan. Do you recognize this jade pendant?"

The smile on his lips was faint—but cruel.

Solin froze.

His pupils trembled violently, his face draining of all color.

As an elder of the Vernal Clan, how could he not recognize it?

This was the Inherited Blood Jade Pendant of the clan.

Only two existed.

One was held by the Clan Head.

The other—by the Supre Elder.

The jade pendant resonated faintly, and the bloodline power within Solin’s body trembled in response.

It was real.

Undeniably real.

Yet now, the jade pendant that should have been in the Supre Elder’s possession was floating calmly before Ethan.

In that instant, Solin understood.

But his mind rejected the truth.

"Impossible... absolutely impossible!" Solin shook his head violently, his voice rising unnaturally high, as if shouting louder could erase reality.

"Whether it’s possible or not," Ethan said indifferently, putting the jade pendant away, "is none of your concern."

With another wave of his hand, he produced a storage ring.

"This should be even more familiar."

The ring hovered silently, its aura unmistakable.

"?!!!"

Solin’s mind went blank.

If it had only been the jade pendant, there might still have been room for doubt.

But the Supre Elder’s storage ring?

If such a thing fell into another’s hands, there was only one explanation.

Death.

Absolute death.

"Sunflower Heart Sutra," Ethan said with a faint smile.

"Enzo Vernal’s cultivation thod was... interesting."

He casually put the ring away.

"Solin," Da shouted, "what’s going on?!"

"What else could it be?!" Solin roared, eyes bloodshot.

"The Supre Elder of my Vernal Clan is dead!"

His gaze snapped toward Da, hatred blazing.

"Didn’t you say the plan was flawless? Didn’t you say Ethan would die for sure?! Why is he strong enough to kill the Supre Elder of my Vernal Clan?!"

Silence fell.

Da’s expression finally turned grim.

At first, he had dismissed Ethan’s words as bluffing.

But now...

He could no longer deny it.

Still, he refused to believe Ethan had accomplished this alone.

"It must have been the Blood Marquis and the Ghost Supre," Da thought coldly.

"They must have borrowed his artifact. Otherwise, three Upper Supres falling is impossible."

Solin laughed bitterly, anger boiling over.

"The Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets is nothing but a pile of trash. Your intelligence is worthless, and because of you, my Vernal Clan suffered catastrophic losses."

He clenched his fists.

"Continue cooperating with you? Are you treating us like fools?"

He turned abruptly. "Withdraw. We leave Skyreach Territory imdiately. I’ll go to Noble Sun City myself and find out the truth."

"Haha."

Da’s voice turned icy.

"A bunch of losers think they’re qualified to bark at the Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets?"

Ethan watched the scene unfold, eyes narrowing.

Before a single blow had been exchanged, the so-called alliance was already tearing itself apart.

Temporary alliances built on greed were always like this—fragile and rotten to the core.

"You two," Ethan said calmly, "there’s no need to argue."

His aura suddenly exploded.

"Today, I’ll send you to hell to reunite with Malrik and the others. You can continue chatting down there."

The world seed to tremble.

Golden haze surged around Ethan’s body, its edges interwoven with white, mysterious power.

"This feeling?!" Da’s pupils shrank violently.

"Divine power... the Ultimate Supre?!"

The pressure made his heart pound uncontrollably.

Only divine power could produce such terror.

Only an Ultimate Supre could fully transform spiritual energy into divine power.

"No—he’s a physical cultivator!" Da realized abruptly.

"An Interdiate Supre!"

"Then why does he have divine power?! Shouldn’t it be Original Power?!"

There was no ti to think.

Divine power ant Ultimate Supre combat strength.

Combined with a divine weapon, it spelled death.

"Everyone—withdraw!" Da roared decisively.

He turned to flee.

But Ethan’s lips curled into a cold sneer.

"The Sky-Suppressing Turtle Shell—seal it."

With a thought, the incomplete turtle shell appeared above them, rapidly expanding.

Da looked up.

His heart plunged into an icy abyss.

"Sky-Suppressing Turtle Shell?!"

"Retreat! Retreat now!" he scread.

The Pavilion’s mbers scattered instantly.

The Vernal Clan cultivators fled even faster.

"Do you think you run?" Ethan laughed softly.

He waved his hand, divine power pouring into the artifact.

The turtle shell erupted with green radiance, its power surging far beyond when it had been in Malrik’s hands.

The green light condensed.

Ford.

Manifested.

The power of the seal descended like heaven itself.

The green light condensed into a huge green turtle spirit body.
