This group of sect traitors, white-eyed wolves, and cowards who acted unjustly for their own benefit had to hand themselves over in exchange for their lives.

When Bram found and killed them later, they deserved to die!

On the roof, Ethan and Cain Ashenvale confronted each other.

"You must be the Ethan who received the invitation letter from the Blood Tavern recently," Cain said with a calm smile, eyes narrowing slightly as he sized his opponent up.

"A few days ago, you were promoted to sixth place on the list of geniuses. Today I will see what you are capable of, and you are worthy of being at the top of the list in Skyreach Territory with !" His words were wrapped in cold confidence.

Cain maintained his calm smile throughout, a relaxed expression that clearly conveyed he did not take Ethan seriously. To him, Ethan was not even worthy of comparison.

In Cain’s own eyes, "genius" was a title given by others — but to Cain, Ethan was just a small loser. Killing him would be effortless. Even the Blood Tavern, Cain was sure, would not stand in his way unless they desired a war with the Holy Land of Endless Mountains.

Ethan’s reply was equally calm, his face bearing a calm smile that sent a clear signal: he did not take Cain Ashenvale seriously either.

"I really don’t have much ability, but I’m more than capable of taking care of you!" Ethan’s tone was steady but filled with quiet confidence.

"Daddy, Solara can kill him without you taking action!" The red-haired girl beside Ethan spoke eagerly, her fists clenched in anticipation.

"Leave it to dad. You just watch from the side," Ethan said, rubbing Solara’s head soothingly.

"Okay, Daddy, co on!" Solara’s eyes sparkled as she prepared herself.

In Cain Ashenvale’s ears, the voice of his Second Elder, Noel Ashenvale, rang out suddenly.

"Young Master, that little girl’s breath is extrely hot. She’s not human but a monster—a Divine Beast Phoenix!"

Cain turned his sharp gaze to the red-haired girl, observing carefully. Indeed, her breath was scorching, the power of her flas extraordinary. It reminded him of the vision of heaven and earth from that fateful night.

"Could it be that this girl caused the vision of heaven and earth that night?" Cain asked aloud.

"Most likely. That vision was probably caused when she broke through the Mahayana Realm," ca the reply.

"Thank you, Second Elder, for the reminder. If this girl really is a Phoenix, then her bloodline fla should have evolved to the level of original spiritual fire. Even if not, it remains a powerful innate spiritual fire," Cain calculated coldly.

Absorbing such a bloodline fla would help him elevate his Four Spirit Holy Body to a higher level.

"No need to worry, Young Master. If the Blood Tavern intervenes, I’ll stop them from interfering," Noel assured confidently from the balcony of the Fragrant Zither Pavilion.

"Then I’ll bother you, Elder," Cain nodded curtly before turning his gaze back to Ethan.

"Ethan, the girl next to you is probably the transford Phoenix. I have changed my mind. If you hand over her bloodline fla, kneel down, and kowtow to Seraphina to apologize, I will spare your life."

Cain’s smile was cruel and confident as he posed the ultimatum.

Ethan laughed heartily, shaking his head. "Mr. Cain, why don’t you raise your pillow at night? It would be easier to daydream!"

The atmosphere between the two instantly snapped taut with tension.

Under the dim light of night, the rooftop where they stood was circled by spectators eager to see the showdown between two renowned figures.

"Who are those two? They look so aweso," a young crew chief squinted, watching.

An old man beside him explained patiently, "This is your first ti in a big city; it’s only natural you don’t know."

"The man in the brocade robe is Cain Ashenvale, the young master of the Ashenvale family in the Holy Land, ranked third on the Heaven’s prodigy list in Skyreach Territory."

"The man in blue is Ethan, a Physical cultivator who rose to fa after defeating Bram, the sixth prince of the Vernal Dawn royal family, years ago at the Azure Origin Dao Sect. A few days ago, he was mysteriously ranked sixth on the genius list."

The young boy marveled, "Old man, how do you know all this?"

"You’ll find the answers at the Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets. The ranking list has portraits and details about these geniuses," the man said with a knowing smile.

Cain sneered, "I’m not very good at talking, but I do hope your strength matches your verbal skills."

Ethan smirked. "Haha, if you want to hit , just do it. Don’t act like a bch."

Cain’s eyes suddenly sharpened, and then a thunderous montum erupted from him.

Boom!

Waves of energy radiated out, green tiles on the rooftop lifted violently, scattering and shattering across the ground.

But Ethan stood unmoved, long hair billowing in the wind, standing firm before Solara with his back straight as a spear.

Cain Ashenvale was a third-turn Mahayana Realm cultivator, but his burst of power surpassed even that of fifth-turn cultivators and challenged the strong among the sixth turn.

Yet despite the overwhelming montum, Ethan showed no reaction.

"Why are you motionless?" Cain demanded, his tone turning serious.

Even a cultivator newly ascended to the Mahayana Realm would find it impossible to remain unaffected within his aura.

For a cultivator below the Mahayana Realm, it would be impossible to stand even five feet away without being swept away by the pressure.

But Ethan’s stillness said that he possessed so hidden power, though maybe not too much.

"You are quite capable of standing in my aura. I hope you won’t disappoint next ti!" Cain said haphazardly, deliberately slowing his last few words.

Suddenly, his eyes flickered, and his figure vanished without warning.

"So fast!" ca the exclamations from the crowd.

"Heaven-piercing Mind Eyes, open!" Ethan silently commanded.

His dark eyes instantly turned a piercing blue.

Cain Ashenvale’s figure was visible, his movents clear despite the darkness.

What seed like a wondrous movent technique cloaked him in the night, making him difficult to detect.

But Ethan’s Heaven-piercing Mind Eyes gave him the ability to track Cain’s swift movents with ease.
