After giving the orders, Lin Yue took Bai, and they took the elevator downstairs, then quickly rushed out the door.

The elevated bridge turned black from the flas, but its structure was unhard.
Lin Yue checked along, even flying to the nitrate ore area, discovering no damage there either, and felt relieved.
However, the water in Lake Belger had completely dried up, revealing a massive pit and a spot that seed like an underground water seepage point.
Lin Yue noticed the Blind Hunter Fish were nowhere in sight, perhaps having retreated to the underground river.
It seems hunting them for canned fish will have to wait.
"The machine dogs at the nitrate ore... all wiped out, that’s disappointing."
Lin Yue regrettably saw that the machine dogs had collapsed on the ground for so unknown reason, completely motionless.
He landed and inspected them, finding either wear and tear or damage to their parts.

After collecting and disassembling the machine dogs into components, Lin Yue further broke down the damaged parts into blueprints and fabricated twenty new machine dogs, assigning them to guard rather than mine at the nitrate ore.
After all, there are alternatives to mining for now; machine dogs don’t need to mine temporarily.
Setting up the machine dogs’ programs, Lin Yue took off again, flying diagonally towards the Petroleum River Base.
He looked down repeatedly; the original vegetation had vanished into patches of black ash.
Upon arrival, Lin Yue saw the outer walls of the Petroleum River Base from afar, confird no damage, and felt a sense of relief.
Bai stood on the wall waiting for Lin Yue’s arrival, surprised upon seeing the distant black dot rapidly approaching.
"Master’s flying armor is getting stronger."
Bai rembered that initially Lin Yue could only move using its back or be carried by its arms to fly or reach distant places.
