Rosen heard this, his face twitching, and said, "This isn’t a brain teaser. What I’m asking is, before , who was the first to arrive here?"

"Oh, is that so..." The young lady suddenly looked grim, staring strangely at Rosen, and said, "Are you looking for ?"

"Ah?" Rosen was startled.

"Because aside from you, the one who ca here earlier was !" The young lady’s tone suddenly turned stern: "Tell , are you looking for ?"

Rosen was montarily speechless, unexpectedly encountering this young lady who was the demon.

"No, you’ve got the wrong person. I was looking for an old man just now." Rosen shifted the subject.

"Oh? Is that so?" The young lady didn’t give up: "Then tell which elder you were looking for, and I’ll call over to confirm."

"Oh, it was a strong old man, over five ters tall." Rosen thought that since there was no such old man, she definitely wouldn’t find anyone, and that would be the end of it.

But unexpectedly, bubbles began to erge from the water surface, and then a huge old man’s head popped out of the water, followed by a strong elder, five ters tall!

"Young man, were you looking for ?!"

The elder’s voice was imposing and harsh, not sounding like a joke.

Rosen was completely dumbfounded, never expecting that his casual bluff would actually et a five-ter tall strong old man.

"Yes, yes, I was looking for you!" Rosen decided to go with it, treating a dead horse like a living horse.

"Seeking death!" The elder didn’t say much and didn’t ask Rosen what he wanted, throwing a punch without hesitation.

In an instant, Rosen’s face looked like a slathered paste shop, with a mix of red, yellow, and black.

His nasal cavity imdiately stung, Rosen spat out a mouthful of blood and said, "Sir, that’s too much, don’t you ask before hitting?"

"Fine, tell quickly, why are you looking for ?" The elder demanded strongly.

"I’m a news reporter, heard there’s a longevity elder nearby who likes fitness, and ca for an interview." Rosen redirected the topic again.

During this, the demon young lady was scrutinizing Rosen with a stern gaze.

Now the old man scratched the back of his head and spoke with a silly smile: "Actually, there’s not much to it, the secret to longevity and fitness lies in this swimming pool, which is rich in calcium, iron, zinc, selenium, and other trace elents that can be absorbed and used by the skin. Drinking a sip gives you a full periodic table, supplents everything!"

"Wow, is it that magical?"

Rosen didn’t believe it, but now he had to, since his ulterior motives weren’t about the pool.

"So with that, my interview is over." Rosen quickly said, preparing to make a run for it.

But the demon young lady grabbed Rosen, saying, "Your little trick here is nothing in front of an expert in psychology like ."

Rosen’s face darkened upon hearing this, surprised to encounter a psychology expert at this mont.

Looking at Rosen’s micro-expressions, the demon young lady said, "Have you recently often felt dry mouth, bleeding gums, dizziness, and distracted thoughts?"

"Oh crap, how do you know?"

"Heh heh, you ask how I know? That’s because my psychology is combined with fortune-telling, already stepping into the esoteric realm."

"Whoa, that’s so impressive! Then I must pay you a visit too." Rosen said awkwardly, smiling.

The demon young lady continued, "Have you recently been seeing things with blurry eyes, often falling while walking, eating als with flies, and drinking water with sedint?"

"Oh crap, you nailed it again!" Rosen flattered.

By now, Rosen roughly understood that the demon young lady was bluffing.

The psychology combined with fortune-telling isn’t accurate at all.

But the young lady continued, "You’re really peculiar. Normally people I speak to like this would deny, yet you admitted it right away?"

"Ah?" Rosen was surprised: "It makes sense, considering your accuracy is zero. It’s normal for your custors to deny it."

The demon young lady laughed hearing this: "So you’re lucky. If you denied, I would find ways to make the situation you denied co true, which is why my fortune-telling and psychology are always accurate."

This made Rosen feel chills.

"By the way, how should I address you, Fortune-teller Sister?"

"Call Demon." The demon young lady said.

Rosen was suddenly surprised, seeming that the demon rumors were indeed true, but he hadn’t expected the actual demon to be this young lady.

So he asked, "All along, there’s been a rumor of a demon here, didn’t expect it to be you?"

"Yes, because many envy my demon-like figure, calling the Demon Sister. But because of that, rumors spread like wildfire, the demon-like figure got twisted into just the ’demon’, and I slowly got turned into the demon, leading to scary tales of the demon here."

"What?!" Rosen’s mind flashed with insights, a dreadful guess surfacing.

"So, is it that the capital city doesn’t have a real demon, but instead the demons are within people’s hearts?"

Once Rosen finished speaking, the young lady nodded: "Yes, there’s never been a demon, and the people outside are so afraid of the demon they ran out and piled up a mass at the door, creating an insurmountable flood sealing us inside."

Hearing this, Rosen had a strange idea, saying, "But in that case, how co there are people outside saying a demon ca out to harm others?"

Rosen felt this wasn’t just a rumor, because if it were, it would quickly be debunked.

"That’s because those Demon Gods wanted to raid around the Capital City without reason, so they disguised as demons, causing mayhem. Since the demon title was already widely known and feared at that ti, it gave those ill-intentioned Demon Gods the basis to act."

Now Rosen roughly understood the context and cause of the situation, but his task was to seal the demon. Without completing it, he can’t leave the mission area, destined to remain trapped in the Underground Palace forever.

Once the debates accumulated inside the Underground Palace increase day by day, they would eventually fill up the entire limited space, causing the death of everyone inside.

Rosen expressed his concerns to the young lady, but she laughed and said: "Your idea is sheer nonsense. Have you forgotten that nature has microorganisms to decompose those excess debates? It’s impossible for your scenario to occur."

Rosen heard this, not ruling out the possibility, but still said: "Microorganisms decomposing debates consu oxygen and release carbon dioxide and other toxic gases. Plus, the Underground Palace is isolated from the world without oxygen input, after a long ti it’ll suffocate!"

The young lady smiled again and said: "We’ve evolved responses to that long ago, and that is anaerobic respiration, which results in massive lactate production because of incomplete oxidation."

"What, with such massive lactate buildup in your bodies, wouldn’t it burden you physically, eventually bursting your own bodies?" Rosen raised another doubt.

"That’s overthinking it. It depends on where lactate accumulates. Everyone here loves drinking yogurt, and our daily yogurt production is many tis more than outside."

Hearing this, Rosen’s face showed a complex expression, doubting his ears, wondering if it ant what he thought?

"Oh, can you let drink yogurt?" Rosen suddenly asked.

Smack!

The young lady slapped fiercely.

The five-ter-tall elder turned his flushed face and said, "Granddaughter, you hit the wrong person!"

The granddaughter said, "Yes, because you’re too tall, my raised hand accidentally hit you."

As they say, in trouble the tall ones take the heat, proving true, letting Rosen escape the fate of a face slap.

"So young lady, I want to drink yogurt."

Smack!

The five-ter-tall elder covered the other side of his face again.

"Granddaughter, whenever you slap, can you not raise your hand so high? Although the gravitational potential energy turning into kinetic energy makes it strong, but it also hits that way." The elder said helplessly.

"Sorry, next ti I’ll use a kick." The young lady viciously said, showing off her black silk long legs, no, precisely, her crotch-kicking foot.

Rosen imdiately shut his mouth, not daring to say another word.
