Chapter 626: Chapter 626: The Most Frightening Thing is Being Fearless of Death

Finally, due to their own issues, the Beastn’s Demigods had to enter the fray. Once they did, the Humans and Elves’ Demigods naturally followed suit, and the three factions clashed directly at the borders several tis.

However, since the strengths of these Demigods were not that different from one another, and none were truly willing to fight to the death, their efforts were essentially pointless.

Under these circumstances, the situation for the Beastn rapidly deteriorated. In just a few days, they had lost a significant amount of land along their border, and it was uncertain how much longer they could hold on.

“So, they don’t dare to co over.” Fang Jie mused as he reviewed the collected intelligence, gaining so insight into the thoughts of those Demigods.

Given that he had previously killed a Demigod, they had formulated various speculations about his own potential issues.

They knew he must have set up many powerful energy output devices, so they dared not get too close. After all, they were now aware of their own weaknesses: they could not absorb too much energy in a short ti.

Out of fear, those Demigods dared not approach any significant locations on his side, and neither did their armies.

Afraid that once they got close, they would be eradicated by his tactics.

In their hearts, they reasoned that, since his side had no Demigods and only used so thods to threaten Demigods, as long as they kept their distance, they would remain unaffected.

Up to this point, in the minds of those people, the Beastn remained the greatest threat, and the Undead were deed insignificant.

“After all, it’s an inertial way of thinking ford over many years; it’s not so easily changed.” Fang Jie contemplated, understanding their mindset. But this was even better, as it would accelerate their loss. It seed that he would eventually have to find a way to deal with those Demigods himself.

What Fang Jie hadn’t expected was that this stalemate wouldn’t last for long.

Only two days later, shocking news reached Fang Jie from the front line. Five Demigods died simultaneously on the battlefield, and an entire mountain range was obliterated – not just any ordinary mountain but a large mountain range.

There were many Beastn living there, and in an instant, they vanished.

At the sa ti, the battle at the front lines montarily ceased.

“These Beastn really are insane; it’s true that those oblivious to death are the most terrifying.” It was always known that a person desperate enough could pose a headache even to those far stronger than them.

But to encounter Demigods fighting with such recklessness was a first.

Indeed, the frontline intelligence was no longer a secret. This ti the Beastn sent out two Demigods to provocatively engage on the front lines.

The outco was that a Dragon Knight from Human legend intervened, the most powerful being among the Humans because his might lay not only in himself but also in his giant dragon mount.

Both were Demigods, but Fang Jie surmised that the dragon, probably due to a unique thod of breakthrough in this world, hadn’t fully unleashed its potential, leading to a compromised latent strength.

Otherwise, at the onset of ascension to Demigod status, the strength of a Dragon Clan Demigod would far surpass other beings.

Though formidable, this giant dragon wasn’t much stronger than the others.

The Elves also sent two Demigods: one Elf and the Elf Clan’s secret weapon, a trendous Tree-man.

Similarly, this Tree-man was an ace up the sleeve of the Elves.

To deploy such Demigods showed just how resolved the Elves were this ti.

But what they didn’t expect was that the Beastn had already made preparations. They chose a special Crystal Ore Vein as their battleground; since it was of the Earth attribute, it didn’t show much presence.

The Beastn were traditionally not fond of using these Crystal Stones, as they had few Mages.

No one anticipated such an enormous vein hidden here and that the Beastn utilized it with unique thods.

This location was deep within Beastman territory, and the other clans did not have much knowledge about it. During the course of the battle, one Demigod retreated while the Tiger-man Demigod desperately held off the other four.

At the cost of severe injuries, he managed to trap them all within the Array.

Once the Array was activated, the others could not escape for a while. Then, all the energy from the ore vein erupted at once, enveloping the center of the Array.

Even the Beastn could easily accomplish this crude thod of utilization.

But the problem was that the vein was just too colossal, and the energy contained within was enormous.

On the premise of self-sacrifice by the Tiger-man Demigod, the vast energy was absorbed directly by the five Demigods. This power was beyond their control, leading to concurrent energy overload.

The first to succumb was the Human Demigod, as the Human bloodline rendered the worst endurance capacity.

The last to perish was surprisingly the Tiger-man Demigod. Speculation suggested that due to severe injuries and expended energy, his absorption ability weakened, leading to a slower collapse.

Yet, even so, no one desired to end up in that situation.

After all, even if one did, it was still a dead end. A conflict of Laws ultimately led to an explosion, sending the area the up into the heavens.

Even to confuse the Demigods of other species, the dwelling Beastn were not specifically evacuated. With this battle, the Beastn’s civilian population in this area perished completely.

However, by sacrificing one Demigod, the Beastn managed to dispose of four.

Including the one previously killed by Fang Jie, each faction ended up losing two, reestablishing a balance among them.

The most tragic were the Humans, having lost the strongest two of their kind. And with such a developnt, the Undead Clan began to stand out.

On the Undead side, only one had died, leaving two remaining.

With such vast losses, the other major clans, Humans and Beastn alike, were left with only two Demigods each. The Elf Clan had a third, but their losses kept them from acting rashly.

The situation suddenly changed, and the scene once again beca balanced.

“This won’t do; we can’t let them settle down. We must continue to reduce their numbers.”

There were still too many Demigods for him to deal with. Although he had mastered a thod to counter them, once they were guarded, Fang Jie didn’t believe that the Demigods had no ans to respond.

Given ti, they would surely devise a strategy. Thus, reducing their numbers remained the priority.

Without a doubt, the Beastn’s actions had severely offended the other two clans.
