Chapter 625: Chapter 625: The Beginning of the Great lee
Beastn were completely unable to control the spread of the plague within themselves and could only watch helplessly.
Unable to capture the invading humans, they had no choice but to target Fang Jie. However, the demigods dared not take action themselves, sending only so Legendary Level individuals instead. On this playing field, Fang Jie’s experience was simply too rich.
After this period of slaughter, the Beastn had lost far too many Legends.
In the midst of this great battle, Fang Jie took stock and found that more than two hundred Beastman Legends had been killed by his hand. Fang Jie’s own Legends had also suffered losses, exceeding fifty.
Of course, a dozen or so of them were slain by that very demigod at the outset.
This loss ratio was negligible. The problem was the Beastn had lost too much strength, further tipping the balance of power against them compared to other races.
The death of over two hundred Legends was no lesser loss to them than the death of a demigod. In terms of the influence alone, this loss might even be greater.
“Everyone sees it, this is the situation. Now the plague on the Beastn’s side has spread to us, but we’ve found that this plague doesn’t affect us humans at all.”
This was precisely what Fang Jie intended and now they had finally discovered it.
The reason they hadn’t acted recklessly before was out of concern that the plague would affect them.
“Not only do we humans remain unaffected, but the Elves are similarly unaffected by the plague. Although powerful, it targets only the Beastn.”
Everyone began to ponder, wondering why that organization only targeted the Beastn. Were they enemies with the Beastn, or was there so other reason? However, regardless of the reason, as long as it wasn’t effective against them, they had a way to deal with it.
“Given this, let’s launch an attack. We’re also under great internal pressure recently, it’s ti to divert attention.”
Everyone looked at the King, understanding what he ant.
After all, the planning of this matter had involved Kings from various nations. Originally, after taking care of both Undead demigods and leaving a weaker one, he wouldn’t have had the guts to dispatch those people.
For safety’s sake, even hiding was not out of the question.
But now the problem was that the assassination had only been halfway successful, and the other beca frenzied in purging. Many families’ backers had already been cleared out, and so who were very aged suddenly found themselves without refuge.
They wanted to join the Undead System not for eternal life but to avoid death.
After all, if there were no backers or glory and wealth after that, what was the point of going?
Eternal suffering is completely different from everlasting enjoynt. These people were angry and wanted to vent, so the planners of this sche beca the targets of their frustration.
Many people wanted to pressure their own countries internally, influence the human high command, and thereby curry favor with the Undead.
At the very least, they wanted to give themselves the opportunity to cross over.
While the Undead had always been their retirent plan, they now realized that the other side also had demigods, and they couldn’t just control everything as they wished. As the other side toughened, they naturally softened.
Also, their dealings with the Undead, resulting in many of their material trades and otherwise, were tied to the South.
With all this commotion, many families’ interests were severely hard. Would they be able to just let it go? Recently, countries were in great turmoil.
Though they didn’t take direct action like the Undead, the internal unrest was not insignificant.
If they couldn’t resolve this matter, it wasn’t impossible for so countries to directly plunge into civil unrest.
Seeing the King put it this way, they thought it over and seed to agree that it was a good idea. They knew they couldn’t carry on with the turmoil and that attacking the Beastn wasn’t a bad thing.
“Attacking the Beastn’s lands can earn us rits and new territories, which will silence quite a few people.”
Another person added, “Those who are causing too much trouble, just let them go. If they manage to reap benefits, that’s their skill. If not, it’s an opportunity to get rid of them.”
The Beastn weren’t to be trifled with either; their strength was formidable.
The people gave strange glances to the speaker, whose family had an old ancestor causing much trouble. This ancestor had always been the decision-maker of their family, a weight bearing down upon their heads.
Perhaps he, too, might want to seize this chance to completely rid himself of that ancestor.
They thought about it, and so did the rest. So households had even more severe issues.
Although they might end up the sa way when they were older, they absolutely loathed those old nuisances right now.
“Since we’re all in agreent, I’ll contact the other nations. For an affair of this magnitude, we cannot act alone; we must work together.” A single nation wouldn’t have the forces required, nor could it withstand such pressure.
Thus, the humans began to coordinate their efforts internally, with actions erupting rapidly.
The Beastn might not easily obtain human internal ssages, but they were bound to be aware of the massive troop movents of the humans. As a result, the Beastn began to strengthen their border defenses.
However, due to the plague, they couldn’t consolidate their defenses into a united front.
That day, as the human army advanced, the Beastn realized the severity of the situation.
Yet, with their internal plague issue unresolved and the humans breaking through unimpeded, they could only mount defense. Yet, this defense seed sowhat feeble, and swiftly, nurous border fortresses fell into human hands.
With humans initiating the move, the northern Elves too, not to be outdone, launched an attack directly at the Beastn.
Suddenly, the Beastn seed to beco the enemy of everyone, as if they were fighting against the whole world. Three directions, three mighty forces, all fully committed to their efforts.
Especially internally, with the plague spreading extensively, the Beastn realized their situation was becoming dire.
Fortunately, every Beastman was a fighter. In such circumstances, many could be ard and sent to the battlefield. The vast support of troops prevented their situation from collapsing completely.
But if this continued, they couldn’t hold on, with their war potential decreasing as ti passed.
The extinction of each tribe ant one less source of troops for the future.
“No, we can’t wait any longer. At this rate, we Beastn will beco a small tribe. The demigods within our race cannot just wait idly; we must counterattack, we must.”
The Beastn from all tribes demanded a counteroffensive, and the demigods couldn’t just sit still.
After all, if the Beastn were to perish, these demigods would also be greatly affected.
