Despite going to bed, Zaen kept twisting and turning, unable to catch even a wink of sleep. Last night he was so tired he fell asleep like a log, yet was forced awake for the training.
Now that he was back in the comfort of his ho, his stubborn mind refused to switch off. Just then, he felt sothing and summoned the stick from his inventory.
The room illuminated instantly, and so he found soone standing at the foot of his bed.
"Who is it?" he asked, gripping the stick tighter.
From the corner of his vision, he noticed the door wasn’t ajar. The person had entered the room through the window.
Third-floor window? Who the heck—
"So you already forgot about ?" the woman asked, tilting her head. "Is it because of that woman?"
"Hina?"
Zaen didn’t have to see her face to know she was mad. Her yandere tendencies had overtaken the rational part of her mind.
"Oh, so you do rember ?" Hina scoffed, inching closer to him. "You rembered , but forgot about us?"
Us? What ’us’ are you talking about, you crazy girl!?
Zaen wanted nothing more than to slam the stick on her head and knock her out, but he held back. He didn’t know much about her ability, and going by their last eting, she was much stronger than him, even in that frail fra.
"No calls, no letters, not even a word of mouth... You didn’t treat Shyra this way. Then why are you pushing away?"
Zaen let out a sigh before hitting the lamp switch on. Hina’s expression imdiately softened when he saw the bandages on his eyes. She seed to have forgotten about his condition in her manic state and acted out.
"I’m sorry... Hina," Zaen said, putting on a pitiful expression. "I had no intention of ignoring you, but I... got accepted into the organization that saved us, and they took away without giving ti to say goodbye."
Since Hina already knew about the organization and would probably get recruited by then, he didn’t feel like there was a need to lie to her. After all, lying was the worst thing he could do there, as he didn’t know how much she knew about him and Ann.
Hearing his words, Hina imdiately crossed her arms, waiting for Zaen to continue.
Tsk, I thought acting docile would calm her, I guess not. What are those stupid guards doing? I should have Uncle Mack throw them all out!
"You forgot the day," Hina sighed, looking at her feet.
Just then, it hit him. It was already past twelve...
"Did you co here to—"
"Celebrate my birthday with you," she said, the manic smile returning to her face. "But then I saw you with that bitch. What were you doing with her?"
"You got it all wrong," Zaen said. "That woman is an agent as well. She’s helping adjust to blind—"
"Of so she had to be in lingerie just for that?"
"What!?"
For once, Zaen didn’t have to act. He was genuinely taken aback by Hina’s words. Then again, his perception only let him see soone’s outer shell, not the clothes they were wearing. Even now, he couldn’t see what Hina was wearing.
"You... didn’t know?" Hina asked, surprised.
"Hina... you know I can’t—"
Before he could complete the words, Hina jumped at him, holding his hands close to her chest.
"You must think I’m awful... I accused you of sothing you had no part to play in. I’m a terrible girlfriend!"
She sniffled, and Zaen felt sothing warm and wet fall on his hand. Hina was crying, but that wasn’t the thing going inside his head.
"G-Girlfriend?" he stamred.
The crying imdiately stopped as Hina shot him a crazed look.
"Am I not?"
Zaen clearly rembered asking her for ti, but in her twisted mind, he had agreed to her request. In the end, he could only nod, and the gentle smile on Hina’s face reappeared.
"I knew you’d agree!" she exclaid and wrapped her hands around his neck. "I love you too!"
First girlfriend and now love. What the hell is going on?
As they hugged, Zaen noticed sothing was off. He had hugged Hina before, but this ti, he could ’feel’ a lot more of her. Only after hugging her back did he realize why that was the case.
Her clothes felt thinner than usual, maybe it was lace. No, it had to be it since he could feel the warmth of her skin through it. Not just that, she seed to have sprayed sothing on her. It was a faint perfu, sothing floral, but it also made him a bit dizzy suddenly.
"You might be innocent," she whispered into his ear. "But I must hold you accountable for that slut’s actions."
"What? You got it wrong. She’s my doctor—"
Hina pressed her finger on his lips before he could say anything.
"Everything is already in motion," she continued, whispering while feeling his shirtless body. "It’ll happen any second now."
As soon as she said that, sothing indeed happened. His little brother was up and reporting for duty.
That sll! This crazy bitch sprayed herself with aphrodisiac!?
Suddenly, her strange mood swings made sense. Whatever she had sprayed on herself must be potent for Zaen to react so fast. He could only wonder how worse Hina’s situation was.
"Are you that eager to be punished?" Hina asked, licking his cheek.
It’s bad! Her situation is bad!
Even in her aroused state, she hadn’t lost a bit of her possessiveness over him.
"You must not be around other won," she whispered as her hands slid down, tracing his muscles until her hands brushed against sothing hard.
She continued in her sultry voice, "Since you’re helpless, and won would take advantage of you, then I’ll just have to satisfy you till you can’t move, right?"
What kind of twisted logic is that!?
"Don’t worry... I have done my research," she smiled and threw away the blanket. "It’s my first ti, but you’ll not be disappointed."
