Sky Dragon’s target of choice was a Skuru person who claid to be “Gary.”
In recent tis, Sky Dragon and her troops had infiltrated the rear of the insectoid army to harass them, severing the supply of weapons, food, and drinking water for the insectoid forces.
Sky Dragon perford exceptionally well.
With her outstanding leadership and formidable strength, the supply lines at the rear of the insectoid army were cut off repeatedly, severely hampering the frontline’s advance speed. Because of this, Sky Dragon earned a great deal of Military rits rewards.
However, she wasn’t the only one harassing the insectoids from their rear; there were two other teams performing similar missions, each led by a Skuru person and a high-ranking Warcraft respectively.
The Skuru person claid to be “Gary.”
He led a troop comprised of 400 Blue Man soldiers, among which 26 were archer cavalry;
The high-ranking Warcraft resembled a Blue Star rhinoceros, pitch-black in color and often lurking in the shadows, exuding a great sense of mystery.
This high-ranking Warcraft didn’t lead any troops but took advantage of its high carrying capacity, exchanging all its rit Points for strength-enhancing potions, large traps, and other items.
Taking pride in its high carrying capacity and mobility, it road freely in the vast rear of the insectoids, setting up large traps that caused significant trouble for the insectoids and achieved notable successes as well.
Between Gary and the high-level Warcraft, Sky Dragon ultimately chose Gary.
After all, Gary was a humanoid creature, which would undoubtedly make communication easier.
…
On the evening of the third day in the secret realm, it was already Sky Dragon’s eighth day on Skuru Star.
Before seeking out Gary, Sky Dragon glanced worryingly at the jade amulet tied around her wrist.
This jade amulet, given by Ga Supervisor Donna, would allow her to return to Blue Star once the space channel was activated by simply activating the amulet.
But now, on the eighth day, the jade amulet was still inoperable, with no indication whether Donna had forgotten to activate the space channel or if it was simply unusable within the secret realm.
Sky Dragon pondered for a while and felt that it was more likely the latter.
That ant she was without a crucial lifesaving thod. She would have to be extra cautious in the secret realm from now on.
…
After swiftly clearing an insectoid logistics camp, Sky Dragon led her troops on the route to where Gary was marching.
The positions of the three rear ambush troops were always relatively transparent, so Sky Dragon quickly found Gary, the Skuru wearing blue-purple clothes.
“Hello, I am Xu Xiaotian, from the Blue Star Humans,” Sky Dragon greeted from a distance, waving to him as soon as she saw Gary.
Gary was surprised to see Sky Dragon approaching; he never expected her to co looking for him.
All the Skuru people and high-ranking Warcraft in the secret realm were very interested in Xu Xiaotian, the only Blue Star Human there.
However, the secret realm had its own set of rules. Doc, the lord of Sun City, had issued an order that the various troops should not attack each other, or death would be the only outco.
It was for this reason that Sky Dragon could freely engage and kill insectoid soldiers on the battlefield to accumulate rits, instead of being targeted by groups of Skuru people.
Seeing Sky Dragon coming to find him personally and eagerly greeting him, Gary understood that Sky Dragon must have sothing to say.
He focused and asked, “Human, what business do you have with ? Don’t forget, we Skrull people and Blue Star Humans are enemies!”
“Don’t be in such a hurry.” Sky Dragon knew he would respond like this and calmly smiled, “By the way, which power are you from? The Raging Sun Empire? The Lun Kete Alliance? Or so other nation?”
Gary didn’t answer but kept a watchful eye on Sky Dragon’s rapidly approaching troops.
However, upon seeing the composition of Sky Dragon’s troops clearly, a hint of envy involuntarily flashed in his eyes.
Sky Dragon’s troops may only number 1,000, not much more than his, but they included many high-ranking units. There were over fifty “50 rit Points” Archer Cavalries and twenty “200 rit Points” Mages.
The most expensive in his own troops were the “20 rit Points” ordinary cavalry. The gap in quality between the two forces was simply huge!
Sky Dragon keenly caught the fleeting envy in Gary’s eyes and knew exactly what to say next.
“How about this, I’ll give you 400 rit Points if you tell so things I want to know, but you must guarantee not to lie!” Xu Xiaotian said with her arms crossed and a serious look on her face.
But since she was, after all, a 14-year-old girl, despite trying to appear serious, she still looked quite adorable.
It was also because of Xu Xiaotian’s cuteness that Gary’s guard was significantly lowered.
“400 rit Points?” Gary was sowhat tempted.
400 rit Points were enough for him to exchange for 20 cavalryn!
Of course, the strength of those 20 cavalryn wasn’t that important, but “rit Points” were the only currency in the mystical battleground, and the final settlent rewards were also based on “rit Points.”
200 rit Points, enough for him to toil for a long ti!
“Alright, ask away,” Gary said but then added, “If your questions are too confidential, I will certainly not answer them.”
“Don’t worry, I won’t ask too deeply,” Xu Xiaotian smiled and began to inquire, “What do you know about the history of this mystical battleground?”
“This…” Gary clearly hesitated.
“What, you don’t want to talk?” Xu Xiaotian feigned a move to leave. “If you don’t wish to speak, I’ll just find soone else.”
“Wait a minute,” Gary called out to Xu Xiaotian.
The history of the mystical battleground was crucial for understanding it; many unclear points could be instantly clarified by looking for answers in its history, and Gary was reluctant to divulge this to her.
But then he thought, even if he didn’t tell her, soone else eventually would, and they would earn the 200 rit Points instead. It would be better for him to earn them!
So he spoke up, “Okay, I can tell you about the history of the mystical battleground, but 200 rit Points might not quite match its value…”
“Only 200, take it or leave it!”
“Uh… alright, then I’ll give you a brief summary of the history of the mystical battleground…”
With the mindset of not passing up an opportunity to earn, Gary began his narration of the battleground’s history.
Moreover, he was quite honest, not mixing in any falsehoods but sharing the actual history.
Xu Xiaotian listened while pulling out 200 rit Points from a blue armband hanging on her shoulder. The rit Points flew out from her hand like a blue thread and eventually entered the armband on Gary’s shoulder.
This blue armband was given to them by the Blue People before they started slaying enemies, specifically for storing rit Points. Moreover, the armband was deeply bound to the adventurer’s person and could not be stolen.
