Global Evolution: I Super Double Up on my evolution Chapter 539 248: Competing for the NPC Position! Achieve Eve
Su Yan felt utterly perplexed. At the sa ti, a sense of ill on arose in his heart, a feeling that sothing bad was about to happen.
Soon, Su Yan left the skies above the North Suburb of Luo City and flew straight toward West Sea Bay.
The Old Banyan Tree had disappeared, and the Ice Crystal Phoenix had also vanished without a trace. Next, he had to rush to the third destination to see if the Bony Kun in West Sea Bay had also disappeared.
A mont later, Su Yan arrived above West Sea Bay.
It was a beautiful bay with blue waters, a scenic spot well-known in Luo City and a popular tourist destination. It was abundant with sea turtles, giant frogs, and tender, fleshy sea worms. Every sumr, many locals would co out to catch them for extra inco.
Su Yan floated above West Sea Bay, looking down from his high vantage point. He then noticed the sea was calm, and not even a single fry could be seen.
I wonder if that Bony Kun is still here...
Thinking this, Su Yan suddenly expanded his Five Senses Perception, thoroughly probing the bay that reached a thousand ters in depth.
The result was as he had expected: the bay was utterly empty. Apart from a few scattered small marine creatures, there wasn't a single large fish, let alone an ancient Kun large enough to obscure the sky.
What in the world is going on? How could those Mythical creatures have all disappeared as if by agreent? Is it really because of ?
Coming up empty three tis in a row left Su Yan very puzzled. It felt as if those Mythical creatures had anticipated his arrival and deliberately avoided him. The feeling was incredibly eerie.
"There's only the Chaotic Graveyard left now. I hope I don't co up empty-handed again," Su Yan muttered to himself, then quickly flew toward Luo City's Chaotic Graveyard.
Soon, Su Yan reached the skies above the Chaotic Graveyard.
He floated silently above, rging with the surrounding night. As long as he didn't reveal himself, not even a Mythical creature could sense his presence.
Hm? The Ghost General is still there! Su Yan was quite surprised to see the huge Ghost General entrenched in the center of the Chaotic Graveyard.
After coming up empty three tis in a row, he hadn't held much hope for this visit to the Chaotic Graveyard. Unexpectedly, however, the result was a pleasant surprise.
The Ghost General was still there! It hadn't suddenly disappeared like the Old Banyan Tree, Ice Crystal Phoenix, Bony Kun, and the other Mythical creatures.
But then again, could there be a conspiracy behind this? Su Yan suddenly considered this possibility and didn't rush to confront the Ghost General below.
Instead, he just floated silently in the sky, blending in with the night, intending to observe for a while before deciding whether to descend.
His observation lasted the entire night. He watched until the moon, seemingly impatient, departed and summoned the sun to take over its arduous watch.
After waiting so long, the Ghost General below hasn't made any unusual moves. I must have overthought things, Su Yan concluded. With that thought, he descended like a god before the Ghost General, landing with an air of ease.
"Death to any who trespass in my domain!" Upon seeing Su Yan appear, the Ghost General wasted no words, simply shouting a warning before swinging its blade toward him.
Facing such a sudden attack from the Ghost General, Su Yan, who had landed less than a second before, frowned slightly. He found the temperant of this Mythical Yin entity before him rather explosive. It showed no intent to communicate, only imdiate aggression.
BOOM! A loud crash echoed. The Ghost General's forty-ter-long broadsword fiercely struck the ground, causing the earth to tremble and sending dust flying everywhere.
"To dodge my strike... you, a youth of the Human race, possess so skill," the Ghost General comnted in a deep voice. It then lifted its massive forty-ter broadsword again, frantically hacking toward Su Yan in a relentless assault.
BUZZ! BUZZ! BUZZ!
The Ghost General's slashes were incredibly fast, creating sonic booms that sent nearby tombstones toppling.
Unfortunately for the Ghost General, each of its slashes seed to rely trace Su Yan's outline, missing every ti. Not a single strike landed; not even a hair was grazed.
This made the perpetually proud Ghost General utterly infuriated. It hacked away so furiously that it almost struck itself.
Watching the blundering Ghost General nearly injure itself while he effortlessly evaded its slashes, Su Yan felt a twinge of secondhand embarrassnt.
The actions of this blundering Ghost General reminded him of a saying from his previous life: "I get so crazy I hit myself!"
And now, this phrase could be perfectly applied to the blundering Ghost General, rely changing it to: "I get so crazy I slash myself!"
I've toyed with it enough... It's ti to get serious...
Thinking this, Su Yan simply stood still, allowing the Ghost General's blade to swing down at him.
The Ghost General paused for a mont, then swung its sword at Su Yan, intending to cut this Human who looked down on ghosts in two.
CLANG! A crisp tallic impact resounded. The Ghost General's forty-ter-long sword unceremoniously struck Su Yan, instantly creating a dazzling shower of sparks that shone brilliantly in the dim light of the early morning.
