Global Evolution: I Super Double Up on my evolution Chapter 465 - 220 Half-step Mythical Level Beings? Die!2
Witnessing Old Shu’s agonizing cries, Su Yan was thrilled. My attack can hurt it! Without a second word, he unleashed another fierce barrage of King Eight Fist attacks, each punch landing squarely on its flesh. Old Shu’s core burst, its life force draining away at a rate visible to the naked eye.
"Let’s join in!"
At Old Qin’s command, several leaders of the Evolving Noble Families took action simultaneously. Each of them attacked Old Shu, who was now at a disadvantage, using all their strength and unleashing their most powerful, energy-draining signature skills. They wanted to seize this rare opportunity to deal a heavy blow to the overbearing Old Shu—even to kill it!
Ultimately, through their combined efforts, Old Shu’s core was completely pierced. Its life force then drastically ebbed, and its massive body rapidly withered and died.
"Did we win?" Gazing at the withered Sky-reaching Forest Giant on the lake, Old Qin spoke, his expression sowhat dazed. The others behind him felt the sa way, their faces filled with disbelief.
Just half an hour ago, as leaders of the Evolving Noble Families, they had all prepared to die in battle. Unexpectedly, however, the situation had turned so swiftly. In an instant, they had turned defeat into victory, shattering the colossal creature that blotted out the sun and sky. And all of this was possible only because of the young woman who had appeared before them.
"We won! We finally won!" Seeing Old Shu’s core shatter and its body wither and die, the teachers and students on the ground erupted in joyful cheers. They had left their campus to fight in this desolate wasteland for nearly a month. So had died, others were injured. Today, they could finally savor the sweet taste of victory.
"Esteed expert, may I ask who you are..." Seeing that the battle was over, Old Qin asked Su Yan with great respect.
Su Yan, however, paid Old Qin no heed. Instead, his gaze was fixed intently on the massive body of the Sky-reaching Forest Giant before him, his expression solemn. He sensed sothing was amiss. Old Shu’s core had burst, and its enormous trunk had indeed withered and died. But there was still a faint trace of life force within the trunk, a trace that was growing stronger with each passing mont.
Is this... God Blessing Resurrection? Su Yan recalled the Creature Skill he had glimpsed on Old Shu’s information panel. Initially, he hadn’t understood what kind of Skill it was. But now, it seed... God Blessing Resurrection... Resurrection... This seems to be a revival-type Skill? Does this an the Sky-reaching Forest Giant, seemingly withered and dead, might resurrect right before our eyes?
With this thought, Su Yan wordlessly rushed towards Old Shu’s body and began a rciless assault on the corpse. The others looked on, bewildered, not understanding his actions. Soon, however, Old Qin also joined the fray, pumlling Old Shu’s withered body. Seeing this, the few others present also joined in, striking the corpse. Although they didn’t know what Su Yan was doing, they figured following the expert’s lead couldn’t be wrong.
And so, more and more people joined in this perplexing assault on the corpse. Soon, every Legendary Level Evolution Strongman capable of flight had gathered, furiously attacking Old Shu’s body.
But at that very mont, Old Shu’s body, battered and dented from the crowd’s assault, suddenly surged with life force. Before everyone’s horrified eyes, it revived on the spot, restored to full health and power.
"A bunch of ants dare to try and take my life? Die!" The newly revived Old Shu was incredibly volatile. It imdiately lashed out with a flurry of vines, striking at the people on its trunk. Many teachers and students couldn’t react in ti and were smashed into the lakebed by a single blow. So unfortunate souls were struck dead instantly, their lives extinguished on the spot.
"Retreat! Quickly!" Su Yan shouted while blocking Old Shu’s attacks, covering the others’ retreat.
In an instant, the entire lake descended into chaos, with mbers of the Human race fleeing in disarray.
"This... this is impossible!" Old Qin was dumbstruck, frozen rigid in midair. He couldn’t believe Old Shu had revived with full health and power.
Seeing his stupor, Su Yan roared, "What are you standing there for? Help save them!"
Startled by the shout, Old Qin snapped out of his trance. Though still sowhat stupefied, he quickly moved to rescue the teachers and students Old Shu had whipped into the water. Fortunately, his mind was still reeling. He didn’t notice that Su Yan, disguised as a girl, had just used a male voice.
Old Shu let out a cold laugh. "Run? You think you can escape?" Then, its massive body suddenly shot out a multitude of seeds.
SWOOSH!
A seed whizzed past Su Yan’s eyes. Then, with a sickening THWACK, the seed struck the arm of a male student frantically trying to escape, burrowing into his flesh. The male student cried out in pain, but his flying speed did not decrease. Clearly, the seeds, though fast, lacked the impact force to knock people out of the air.
"Ah, my hand!" Suddenly, the male student hit by the seed scread in agony.
Su Yan looked in the direction of the scream. The sight that t his eyes made him freeze. The boy’s injured arm was visibly taking root and sprouting. A blood-red sapling grew from it at an alarming pace. The sapling grew with astonishing speed, tiny vines erupting from its branches to quickly entwine the boy’s entire arm. Then his body, his head... until he was completely engulfed.
"Save... save ..." The boy cried out desperately before plumting from the sky and crashing onto the lake’s surface. Then, with a PLOP, the boy sank beneath the lake’s surface, disappearing completely from Su Yan’s sight.
It wasn’t long, however, before he resurfaced. But his once robust body was now a shriveled corpse, devoid of any sign of life. In its place, the sapling that had parasitized him had rapidly grown into a lush, blood-red tree.
The sa horrifying scene was unfolding for others nearby. Many had been parasitized by the seeds. They were reduced to re nutrients for the seeds’ growth, their lives cruelly stolen.
Witnessing this, Su Yan was inevitably reminded of his first entry into the Mirror World. Back then, he stood alone amidst the ruins. Everywhere he looked, plants grew from the skeletal remains of the dead. It was a world overrun by plants. Wherever his gaze fell, there was only desolate ruin.
So of the anomalies in the Mirror World... were caused by Old Shu...
At this thought, Su Yan stopped providing cover for his fleeing kinsn. Instead, his HP flared, and he charged towards Old Shu, who, freshly revived, was relentlessly slaughtering the mbers of the Human race. He was determined to eliminate this culprit behind the anomalies, to utterly eradicate it from the Evolution World.
"Human, your efforts are futile!" Old Shu mocked, a sneer on its face. However, this was rely a facade; inwardly, Old Shu was panicking. Its Skill, God Blessing Resurrection, did indeed allow it to revive on the spot with full HP and mana. That much was true. But the Skill had a trigger condition! And this trigger condition, in turn, had a re chance of activation! The Skill could only activate if Old Shu suffered a Fatal Strike. And even then, the activation chance was a re fifty percent. Essentially, it was a coin toss between heaven and hell.
BANG!
Su Yan’s fist, wreathed in HP, struck Old Shu’s core directly, creating a deep crater and nurous alarming spiderweb fractures. Feeling intense pain from its core, Old Shu panicked. It tried to appear nonchalant, saying, "Human, I shall depart, and you will stand down. What say you?"
Su Yan offered no verbal response. Instead, he continued to rain Deliberate Punches down upon Old Shu’s core.
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
The relentless barrage of blows made Old Shu shriek in anguish, its entire form trembling and wailing. Yet Su Yan showed no intention of stopping. Instead, his attacks only grew faster and more ferocious.
This tree... I must destroy it!
