"Good timing!"

Zayen gripped the Crimson Eclipse tightly, ready to et it head-on.

As the wolf closed the distance, it leaped directly into the air, jaws wide open, teeth gleaming as it aid straight for Zayen’s neck.

Zayen activated [Divine Manifestation], and golden light instantly enveloped the blade. The crimson bandage coiled around his arm shimred and turned to gold as well.

With a swift sidestep, he dodged the Shadowfang Wolf’s pounce. At the sa ti, the longsword shot forward, piercing through the air.

Rip!

The golden blade cut cleanly through the wolf’s neck, slicing from left to right.

[Experience 20]

Zayen pulled the sword free and wiped the blood from the corpse and continued forward.

"This one was too weak," he muttered. He needed to venture deeper into the Endless Forest to find more magic beasts and kill them.

Furthermore, there were more magic beasts deeper in the forest, they were stronger, and they yielded more experience and rewards.

Howl~~!

Just then, several wolf howls ca from not far away. Zayen quickly looked up and saw five Shadowfang Wolves rushing towards him.

It seed they were those Shadowfang Wolves from the surroundings who had heard the Shadowfang Wolf’s cry and ca to rescue him.

These five Shadowfang Wolves saw their companion’s corpse on the ground, and they imdiately bared their sharp teeth and charged towards Zayen.

"Right on ti!"

Zayen’s eyes glead with excitent as he lifted the Crimson Eclipse, gripping the sword tightly. He charged toward the wolf pack.

Now that his level had increased and his strength had surged, this was the perfect opportunity to test himself.

Even without summoning the six-winged Redeed Holy Angel, he knew he could take them all down.

Before the Shadowfang Wolves could react properly, Zayen swung the Crimson Eclipse in a wide arc. A streak of golden light followed the blade, slicing through the nearest wolf before it could even leap.

Rip!

Starting from the toughest skull, the blade sliced all the way to the hindquarters, splitting the Shadowfang wolf into two!

The first wolf collapsed, blood spraying onto the forest floor.

Hearing the system notification, Zayen’s lips curved into a faint, satisfied smile.

At this ti he wondered what his current level of progress was.

With that thought in mind, Zayen opened his personal panel.

....

"Not bad! Not bad!" After reading the data, Zayen was filled with joy. His experience had increased by 100 points; he only needs 100 more experience points, and he will level up again.

Looking at his personal information, Zayen was quite satisfied.

After looking at his personal formation one last ti, Zayen continued walking into the deepest part of the forest.

After walking for about fifteen minutes, Zayen noticed a slightly raised mound in the grassland. From a distance, it looked completely unremarkable.

"A cave..." Zayen muttered to himself.

Zayen walked up to the cave entrance and peered inside.

The interior of the cave was pitch-black; he couldn’t make out anything clearly. It felt deep—unnaturally so.

At that mont, a faint breeze drifted out from within the cave, brushing against his face. It carried a subtle stench of blood, mixed with a musty odor and heavy dampness, sending a chill down his spine.

Standing at the cave entrance, Zayen felt his scalp prickle. An intense sense of danger seeped out from within the cave, making his instincts scream at him to stay away.

However, he quickly suppressed the feeling.

Judging by the traces outside, this cave was most likely the lair of a magic beast.

And in the Endless Forest, danger and opportunity always went hand in hand.

Staring into the pitch-black cave, Zayen couldn’t help but swallow.

But since he had already co this far, there was no way he was going to turn back now.

The dark cave didn’t have much impact on Zayen’s eyesight. When his eyes adapted to the darkness of the cave, he could barely see the surrounding environnt.

The only thing that made him a little uncomfortable was the strong sll of blood. Along the way, the sll of blood almost condensed into a substance.

As he went down, the whole place was suddenly enlightened. The tunnel extended deep underground. With every step he took, the air grew colder and heavier, and the stench of blood beca even stronger.

After walking for more than five minutes, Zayen finally reached the end of the cave.

Zayen stared at the end of the cave. He took a deep breath, tightened his grip on the hilt of Crimson Eclipse, and stepped forward into the darkness.

On the other side, his surroundings suddenly brightened.

Zayen found himself in a small, hidden underground hall, tucked away beneath the earth.

Zayen’s eyes swept across the hall, and he couldn’t help but notice that the walls were studded with countless crystals.

The walls weren’t the only thing alive with color. Countless strange flowers and plants grew here, their leaves and petals unusually lush for an underground cave.

The faint light from the crystals caught on their surfaces, making them sparkle like tiny stars. The whole chamber seed to shimr, as if it were a hidden fairyland that existed only in legends.

Looking at the strange flowers and plants, Zayen’s curiosity stirred. He activated the System Identification function...

[Moonlight Orchid], [Crimson Vein Lily], [Frostcap Mushroom], [Shimrleaf Vine],

[Bloodroot Fern], [Starpetal Bloom],

[Crystal Moss]...

"Damn... I’m going to strike it rich!"

Zayen exclaid, a wide grin spreading across his face.

Zayen took a deep breath and looked at the herbs again. As expected, none of them could grow in this cave, which was ordinary. All kinds of herbs had their own unique effects.

He didn’t expect that there would be so many strange flowers and plants in this cave.

Zayen sighed quietly to himself, but he didn’t imdiately reach for the herbs before him.

Though these flowers and plants were incredibly valuable, Zayen knew better than to underestimate the cave. It belonged to a magical beast. Perhaps it had been watching him since he entered, waiting for the perfect mont to strike.
