Chapter 61: Chapter 61: Subduing a New Clan, the Dwarves’ Attributes

Zhang Yi’s consciousness within the Divine Realm could clearly see every decision made by Elf Legion Commander Feiyana.

Although Zhang Yi’s consciousness couldn’t leave his Divine Realm, he could still observe the other continent through the eyes of the Wood Elf Corps once they entered it.

Zhang Yi did not object to Elf Legion Commander Feiyana’s decision to take a short rest.

It was the first day the two continents were temporarily connected, and on this first day of the expedition, Feiyana had already led the Wood Elf Corps in bringing the Dwarf Tribe into the fold, using both threats and incentives.

’This is much faster than I expected!’

They still had six more days to operate on this continent.

So, instead of risking a dangerous night operation, it was better to rest well and conserve their strength,

and then head to the Fire Elf tribe the next day.

At night, the Wood Elf Corps began to rest, using the caves left behind by the Dwarves.

anwhile, escorted by the guard and supply teams, most of the Dwarves and Wood Elves began their journey back to the Divine Realm.

As they left the continent, the temperature rose the closer they got to Zhang Yi’s Divine Realm.

The Dwarves, who had been starving for over ten days, began walking through the snow after a simple, filling al.

If it weren’t for the Dwarf Clan’s naturally decent physical constitution,

they probably would have collapsed from exhaustion halfway there!

But in reality,

throughout this journey away from their holand and toward an unknown place,

feelings of confusion and fear constantly weighed on the hearts of the more than one hundred Dwarves.

As the road stretched on, these emotions only grew stronger.

If it weren’t for the sight of their fully ard Wood Elf escorts,

so Dwarves might have tried to flee.

But as they felt the weather change and the pure white snow gave way to ground where green plants appeared, their spirits gradually began to lift.

When they reached the border between the two continents,

the group of Dwarves saw the lush, green mountains on the other side,

and at once, a wave of cheers erupted from the Dwarves!

Only after experiencing disaster can one truly appreciate the beauty of a peaceful life.

This principle held true for this group of Dwarves as well.

Only after enduring more than twenty days of ice and snow with no food could they truly appreciate the beauty of spring!

The mont the first Dwarf crossed the continental border,

his foot no longer crunched on thin ice,

but instead stepped onto soft, green grass.

This bearded Dwarf Warrior suddenly fell to his knees, his rough fingers trembling as he touched a wildflower.

The Dwarves, looking like refugees, poured across the border like a tide.

So threw themselves into streams, drinking greedily.

So hugged fruit trees, weeping.

And others prostrated themselves on the ground, thanking the great Elf God!

When Zhang Yi saw this,

and noted so Dwarves were already cheering and thanking the great Elf God,

he knew the [Fanatical Faith] achievent was already taking effect!

The effect of the [Fanatical Faith] achievent wasn’t instantaneous;

it required a period of accumulation.

The more they acknowledged the great Elf God, the faster the achievent would take effect.

This ti, the Dwarves had been willing to submit to the Wood Elves for the sake of survival.

The journey from their ho to the edge of the Divine Realm took over three hours,

during which they were influenced enough to begin abandoning their original beliefs and start believing in the great Elf God!

[Event]: You have gained a new Clan. The new Clan’s Spirit has been profoundly shaken. Amplified by the effect of [Fanatical Faith], their Faith in you has increased dramatically!

[Event]: Due to the imnse shock of the first encounter, your Believer Copperbeard Ironplate has beco a True Believer, and your Believer Copperbeard Scythe has beco a General Believer...

[Event]: You have gained a total of 3,652 Faith Value!

Although the amount of Faith Value gained wasn’t huge, it was still a good start!

’Especially that Dwarf, Copperbeard Ironplate.

Of all the Dwarves, on their very first encounter,

he was the only one to beco a True Believer.

The rest only beca General Believers at best.

If his Talent is decent, he might be worth cultivating in the future.’

As for the Dwarves who had migrated into his Divine Realm, Zhang Yi’s plan was simple: divide, create opposition, and win them over.

’First, divide them and create conflict.

Then, win over one group and suppress the other.

Naturally, all the Dwarves will fall in line!’

From the first step these Dwarves took into his Divine Realm,

Zhang Yi already knew.

The entire Divine Realm was under Zhang Yi’s jurisdiction.

Zhang Yi looked at these Dwarves, curious himself

about their current condition,

and how their physical constitution compared to the Elves.

So, Zhang Yi focused on Copperbeard Ironplate, one of the Dwarves who had just set foot in his Divine Realm, and opened the personal interface that only he could see!

[Na: Copperbeard Ironplate]

[Clan: Mountain Dwarf]

[Rank: Middle Clan]

[Level: Second Level]

[Profession: Blacksmith/Warrior]

[Skills: Blacksmithing]

[Talent: Mineral Expertise, Natural Blacksmith]

[Power: (Weakened State 1.9) / 2.7]

[Agility: (Weakened State 1.2) / 2.2]

[Constitution: (Weakened State 1.3) / 2.8]

[Intelligence: (Weakened State 1.4) / 1.8]

[Spirit: (Weakened State 1.3) / 1.9]

[Evaluation: A Dwarf in a weakened state, possesses so potential.]

After reviewing Copperbeard Ironplate’s personal interface,

he opened the interfaces of other Dwarves.

Through comparison, he could see that,

compared to the Wood Elves,

the Dwarves were indeed superior in terms of Constitution and Power.

’As expected of a Clan born for Blacksmithing!’

Down below, the Dwarves who had arrived in Zhang Yi’s Divine Realm,

did not cause any trouble after their initial shock.

They followed the Wood Elves assigned by Elf Queen An Nobel and were led to the outskirts of the Dawn Forest.

Here, temporary living quarters had been built for them.

The Dwarves, knowing their place, did not raise any objections.

They smoothly accepted the simple, makeshift houses.

After all,

compared to their previous living conditions on the other continent,

this was already so much better!

A warm and pleasant environnt;

a wooden hut where they could sleep soundly;

and a continuous supply of Baobab Fruit and other fruits being delivered by the Wood Elves!

All of this brought a sense of satisfaction to these Dwarves who had endured cold and hunger!

They felt nothing like defeated slaves at all!

The Dwarves who had entered Zhang Yi’s Divine Realm were well-behaved and kept to themselves.

Seeing this,

Zhang Yi withdrew his gaze and shifted his focus back to the Wood Elves on the other continent.

On the other continent,

the night was filled with howling, cold winds.

The Wood Elves spending the night in the Dwarves’ forr settlent did not rest very well.

After a simple al of yesterday’s leftovers,

the Wood Elves who had risen for the day,

began to wait for the Wood Elves who had returned to the Divine Realm yesterday.
