"Legacy Site?"
"That is a challenging battleground created by the Heavenly Dao within our World of Heavenly Elent. Both you destined people and we, the indigenous residents, can enter them for adventure and challenge. If you can pass the trials of a Legacy Site, you will receive rewards bestowed by the Heavenly Dao. Each person can only enter any given Legacy Site once, so the opportunity is precious. If you intend to enter, you must carefully consider your own strength beforehand.
"Failure is a lesser concern, but these Legacy Sites have a significant mortality rate. So, don’t rush into one the mont you see it. You must first ascertain the difficulty star level of the Legacy Site."
"Difficulty star level?"
"Yes, the higher the star level, the higher the difficulty. It’s best not to enter Legacy Sites that are above three-star, as they are too dangerous."
"Do you know where to find any Legacy Sites?"
"Legacy Sites are randomly manifested by the Heavenly Dao. Their ti and place of appearance are uncertain, so we don’t know their locations either."
"I see. Thank you for the information. I have other matters to attend to, so I’ll take my leave."
"Take care, sir. If you ever beco interested in believing in our Supre Lord, you are welco here at any ti. The doors of our Temple of All Realms are always open to you."
Guldan seed very keen to recruit a talent like Chen Mo, who could enslave the Bug Clan’s Queen. If an ordinary person declined to join, he would likely have ntioned it only once and then not bothered again. But with Chen Mo, he repeatedly tried to entice him.
Unfortunately, Chen Mo didn’t fall for it.
Seeing Guldan try to recruit him again, Chen Mo just smiled, shook his head, and said, "Perhaps later, if I beco interested."
With that, Chen Mo and Evia executed a Divine Flicker and departed from the Temple of the Lord of All Worlds, leaving Guldan shaking his head in regret.
What a promising prospect! If he were willing to believe in the Supre Lord, our Temple would surely achieve a great rit and undoubtedly receive imnse blessings from the Supre Lord.
After leaving the Temple of All Realms, Chen Mo headed directly to the location marked on his map, a place said to contain an Eternal Five Elents Divine Object.
He first arrived at a remote borderland in the primary region of the World of Heavenly Elent. Here, yellow sand stretched as far as the eye could see. A village of several hundred households stood nestled in the sole small oasis within this vast desert. According to the map, this village was nad Huangfeng Village.
The villagers were all emaciated, as if devoid of flesh.
As soon as Chen Mo arrived at the village, he observed the state of its inhabitants. At first glance, it was quite startling; all the villagers looked like long-dead desiccated corpses. There wasn’t a hint of moisture about them, and their shriveled skin seed to cling tightly to their bones.
When Chen Mo and Evia appeared, the villagers looked over at them with curiosity. Upon seeing the identification number on Chen Mo’s head that marked him as one of the destined people, the villagers’ attitude towards him was quite friendly.
Evidently, being one of the destined people still carried significant influence in the World of Heavenly Elent. Even if people were from different races with different customs, they would treat you amicably once they recognized you as one of the destined people. After all, who wouldn’t welco soone capable of solving their problems?
"It’s rare to see one of the destined people visit our remote Huangfeng Village," a tall, gaunt man, with only a few sparse strands of black hair on his head, skin stretched taut over bone, managed a smile that Chen Mo found more unsettling than a grimace. "Please, co in, so we may offer you our hospitality."
"Are you the Clan Chief here?" Chen Mo asked.
"I am. May I ask what brings you to our remote Huangfeng Village?"
Huangfeng Village hadn’t encountered any trouble recently, so the arrival of one of the destined people naturally piqued his curiosity. He had heard that the destined people were always busy and wouldn’t act without purpose; they certainly wouldn’t have the leisure to visit a place like this without reason. If one had co, it was possible sothing had occurred, which naturally concerned him greatly.
Chen Mo smiled and replied, "It’s nothing serious. I rely heard that Eternal Divine Soil can be found here, so I ca to take a look."
"Oh, so it’s for that!" The Clan Chief visibly relaxed. "I was worried sothing terrible had happened." He lightly patted his chest, offered so dried at to Chen Mo, and said, "We might be lacking in other things, but Eternal Divine Soil is readily available. If you require it, I’ll have my n fetch so for you."
"I can’t accept a reward without having earned it. That wouldn’t be right."
Chen Mo hadn’t expected the villagers to be so obliging. He had only ntioned he was looking for the item, and they were imdiately offering to give it to him. Their ways were truly simple and honest.
At that mont, the Clan Chief glanced at Evia, standing quietly behind Chen Mo, and said, "To have the Bug Clan’s Queen as your servant... that alone makes you soone our Divine-Locust Clan deeply reveres."
"The Divine-Locust Clan? What is your relationship with the Bug Clan’s Queen?"
"Our Divine-Locust Clan’s ancestors were able to settle in this desolate land and build a ho that has survived to this day, all thanks to the aid of a Bug Clan’s Queen. We have always revered powerful individuals capable of forming a pact with a Bug Clan’s Queen. Regrettably, however, until your arrival today, no one from our clan has erged who could replicate the glorious achievents of our ancestors.
"I even began to believe it was rely a beautiful legend. But your appearance today has reaffird my conviction that our Divine-Locust Clan’s forefather was indeed an individual of extraordinary power and ability.
"And you, sir, possess that sa remarkable presence. On behalf of the entire Divine-Locust Clan, I express our profound admiration for your strength."
