The first wave of attacks, with Chen Mo’s Energy Bullet arriving first, saw the Skeleton Monsters deal extrely high damage!
With the dual enhancents from Unwinding Worship and the Amplification Divine Ring, each Skeleton Monster’s attack power now exceeded one hundred thousand.
This attack power landed on the Xiensa Evil God’s clone, which only had sixty thousand defensive power, resulting in eighty to ninety thousand damage per hit.
After Chen Mo’s Energy Bullet struck, the Skeleton Mage talent activated, doubling the damage dealt by the Skeleton Monsters.
One volley from the 3,400 Skeleton Monsters, including so critical hits, instantly wiped out over six hundred million of the Xiensa Evil God’s Health.
Unfortunately, thanks to its Demon God’s Talent, it was immune to most abnormal conditions, so the Corpse Poison had no effect.
Immunity to most abnormal effects... that’s a fairly common trait, Chen Mo recalled. He’d learned about it in his general knowledge classes back in high school. Typically, it ans the target is only susceptible to a very narrow range of status effects, a range that’s even officially categorized. Attribute debuffs, effects that increase damage taken, and effects that reduce damage dealt—those still work. But other things like silence, blindness, stun, disarm, poison, burn, freeze, or healing reversal? It’s completely immune to all of them. This trait usually shows up on really tough and powerful BOSSes.
At this ti, although the abnormal status effects from Chen Mo’s Skeleton Monsters couldn’t be applied, their raw attack damage was more than the Xiensa Evil God could handle.
Dealing over six hundred million damage per second, the Xiensa Evil God’s clone, weakened by 99% and left with only 13.7 billion Health, had no chance of surviving for three minutes!
Seeing itself, a mighty Evil God, being assaulted by a swarm of puny Skeleton Monsters, the Xiensa Evil God, though its abilities were sealed, could still use Normal Attacks. And its Normal Attacks were far from ordinary; it could sprout a multitude of tentacles from its back to lash out at the Skeleton Monsters.
While others could only attack once per Normal Attack, it could strike many tis simultaneously.
However, Chen Mo soon discovered that although it had many tentacles, not every tentacle delivered its full attack power. Judging by the reduction in the shields of the front-line Skeleton Monsters, the combined attack of hundreds of its tentacles was actually only one percent of its regular attack power.
Chen Mo also noticed that so of the thicker tentacles dealt significantly more damage.
This showed that while its nurous tentacles suggested high attack efficiency, it actually achieved its high attack frequency by dispersing its attack power.
The Xiensa Evil God chose this tactic because it was far from stupid.
It knew that Skeleton Monsters, those trashy undead, had very weak defensive power. Even if it divided its attack power among hundreds of tentacles, each tentacle’s hit would still inflict full damage on these fragile Skeleton Monsters.
Its original plan was to use the sheer number of tentacles to increase its attack frequency and quickly sweep away the several hundred annoying Skeleton Monsters in the front line.
To its surprise, however, the shields on the 900 front-line Skeleton Monsters were unbelievably thick!
Its mass of tentacles thrashed wildly, yet the shields barely seed to diminish.
Chen Mo had poured all his available energy value into casting these shields.
He possessed the Sage’s Ring, granting 100% energy recovery per second. Additionally, his Pioneer talent—upgraded to level 4 after completing the five-star SSS-level hidden mission, the Brave Challenger’s Trials—provided another 40% energy recovery per second. Thus, his total energy recovery rate reached 140% per second!
His 140% energy recovery per second was substantial. After deducting the 30% per second consud by The God of Bravery title to maintain the seals on the Evil God, he still had a net recovery of 110% of his maximum energy each second. This ant that even if his energy was completely depleted, he could instantly refill it and sustain the three Sealing Effects on the Xiensa Evil God!
With Chen Mo’s current energy value of over three hundred thousand, the 900 shields he cast each had a thickness equivalent to over 24 million.
If the Xiensa Evil God focused its 160,000 attack power on a single Skeleton Monster, it would need at least 150 hits to break one shield.
