The small town of Celestial City was already packed with people. Even the wilderness outside the town had been filled with various tents, and the crowded masses stretched from the town's entrance—where Charles had been staying—into the wilderness beyond.
And it wasn't over yet. Along the roads outside the town, vehicles kept arriving from all directions. The majority of these were people from Genosha, with many Celestial City locals as well. After watching Charles' live broadcast, they had co to see this miracle-making genius in person!
It could only be said that Charles had, with his actions, achieved sothing that everyone else had thought impossible. His na had beco known to everyone overnight.
If this had been anyone else, they would have been too excited to sleep.
But Charles, at this mont, was in a private room, having breakfast with Luna, Finn, Zachary, and Luma.
Except for Charles, everyone was looking down at their phones.
Luna had a neutral expression. Whenever she ca across topics about Charles, she would like them.
For so of the female Beast Masters who posted about wanting to be Charles' girlfriend, wife, or lover, Luna would secretly glance at Charles, then quietly tap "Not Interested" on those posts.
Zachary was holding his phone, watching the video of "Five Steps Toward a Miracle," which had broken a billion views. He had watched it countless tis, each ti feeling incredibly excited.
This video, he thought, was the kind of thing every man dreams of doing.
Millions of viewers witnessed it. Over a billion video plays. Countless people watched Charles, holding up the collapsing building, reversing the tide, and saving everything!
Which man wouldn't want to do sothing like that?
Unable to contain his curiosity, Zachary asked Charles, "Charles, please teach how you manage to stay so calm no matter what happens. It was so cool. You didn't get nervous or excited at all. It's almost unimaginable!"
Charles wasn't sure what to say. He wasn't nervous or excited because he had already anticipated what could happen—like the fear of many Bloodthirsty Antelope, the death of the Bloodthirsty Antelope leader, and that Miles Carter would inevitably co down to interfere.
To be honest, it felt like reading a mystery story where you already knew the identity of the real culprit. Naturally, you'd remain calm as you read through the process.
Seeing the eager curiosity in Zachary's eyes, Charles decided to give a simple answer:
"Well, let's just say, it helps to think through all the possibilities."
Zachary was montarily stunned, and Finn, unable to hold back a laugh, said, "Alright, stop daydreaming. Soone like Charles—there's probably only one in the entire world."
Finn had already co to terms with it. He realized he was still human, so it was impossible to compare himself to soone like Charles, unless he sohow ceased to be human.
Soon after breakfast, Charles quietly waited in the private room. Nathaniel had already inford him that the Emperor of Genosha, Miles, would be arriving shortly. Miles had traveled overnight from Genosha to Celestial City's small town, specifically to welco Charles back to Genosha Calivia.
Originally, Charles had planned to head to the Infinity Isles after the contest between the genius Beast Masters of Genosha and Kingston, but Nathaniel had told him that, on the day they faced the Bloodthirsty Antelope, Ezra had appeared.
Moreover, Ezra had visited Celestial City and the Kingston royal palace, without saying exactly why, but Nathaniel had already made an educated guess from the intelligence gathered.
At that mont, Charles rembered that Ezra was likely about to leave Genosha in the next few days, heading to the Abyssal Great Wall to handle so dangerous but necessary tasks. Charles wanted to go back and see Ezra off.
Charles knew that although he hadn't spent much ti training under Ezra, that didn't an Ezra wasn't a good teacher. Ezra had helped him a lot and had always been concerned about him.
When Charles learned that Ezra had gone to the Celestial City and Kingston royal palaces to back him up, Charles had been deeply moved.
Ti passed quickly, and when Emperor Miles of Genosha arrived at the small town hotel, Nathaniel led Charles and the others out of the private room toward the hotel's entrance.
As soon as they reached the door, Charles was completely stunned.
There were just too many people. The crowd outside the hotel was like a horde of zombies in a movie, packed tightly together, shouting wildly.
"Charles!"
"You're amazing, you're the strongest!"
"Genosha is proud of you!"
"We'll always support you, Charles!"
The shouts echoed through the entire town, and even so of the hotel room windows cracked from the sheer volu of the cries.
This was the first ti Charles had witnessed such a scene, and he found himself sowhat uncomfortable with it.
Fortunately, at that mont, Emperor Miles, dressed in traditional Genosha attire, walked briskly toward them. His eyes were filled with excitent and pride.
Miles was filled with excitent because Charles had saved a situation that was on the verge of failure. He felt pride because he had indeed made the right choice when he placed his trust in Charles. It had been the best decision to place his hopes in Charles from the start.
Taking a deep breath, Miles found that the words he had prepared earlier now seed impossible to say. He looked at Charles and said slowly, "Thank you, and well done."
After speaking, Miles turned slowly and faced the crowd outside. He said, "My fellow Genosha citizens, at this mont, there are thousands of words in my mind, and I don't even know what to say because of my excitent."
"But I believe that your feelings mirror mine—honor belongs to Charles, and Charles belongs to Genosha. That is our greatest fortune, and it is an unchangeable truth."
"Let us cheer for Charles, let us cheer for the genius Beast Masters of Genosha!"
"Let us welco our hero ho!"
As soon as Miles finished speaking, all the Genosha people in attendance shouted in unison: "Ho!"
"Ho!"
"Ho!"
At this mont, all the people of Genosha had beco a collective, united in confidence, pride, and excitent. Various emotions swirled in their hearts. Many of them couldn't help but shed tears, but their faces were adorned with the brightest smiles.
Charles watched the scene in front of him, feeling a strange emotion well up inside him, as if he were being swept up by the surrounding emotions.
At the sa ti, he could vaguely sense that the unknown entity within him seed to grow more active in this atmosphere.
Then, Charles, Luna, Finn, Zachary, and Luma boarded Emperor Miles' special vehicle and began their journey back to Genosha.
Upon entering Genosha's borders, at every location along the way, thousands of Genosha citizens spontaneously gathered along the sides of the roads. So held flowers, others waved flags, and all of them cheered wildly in celebration.
The return journey was paved with flowers and flags, composed of cheers and shouts.
Even the usually composed Charles couldn't help but reflect on everything during the journey.
Let alone Luna, Finn, Zachary, and Luma. They were like people who had taken so kind of stimulating "miracle drug," as they gazed out the windows at the cheers and celebrations.
Zachary quietly turned his head and focused on Charles. He whispered, "Thank you, Charles. If it weren't for you, the final result would have disappointed everyone."
Luma also chid in, "Yeah, if it had just been the five of us, we wouldn't have been able to..."
Charles furrowed his brow and interrupted, saying, "Aren't we a team?"
The others froze for a mont, then nodded vigorously and responded together, "That's right, we are a team!"
Even Luna joined in, speaking alongside the others.
Upon arriving in Genosha Calivia, the scene beca even more exaggerated. It could be said that a journey that normally took half an hour stretched into a full three hours for Charles and his group!
When Charles finally returned to the dormitory of Cyber Academy, he let out a long breath.
He hadn't expected things to beco this chaotic. Fortunately, it seed that Dean Jamie and the other academy mbers had said sothing to the students. None of the Cyber Academy students disturbed Charles; they only watched him silently with admiration.
Charles quickly washed his face. He wasn't influenced by the overwhelming atmosphere of admiration from countless people. Instead, he lay on his bed, beginning to carefully consider his imdiate plans.
Becoming a Fifth-Level Beast Master ant that Charles no longer had to participate in the Cyber Academy's entrance exams and would automatically be granted a spot.
Skipping the entrance exam was a good thing—it saved ti and allowed him to focus on improving his strength.
The next priority should be the Infinity Isles. After all, Charles' fifth mystical beast still hadn't been found. If he could form a contract with that mysterious, possibly divine creature in the Infinity Isles, it would undoubtedly enhance his strength imnsely!
Once he completed the contract for his fifth mystical beast, if there was still ti, Charles planned to go out and gain more practical experience. There was so much he still wanted to do.
For instance, there was the tal material collection list that Giant Bellamy had given him, to strengthen the black gold long knife into a Golden Quality weapon. That way, Charles would have two powerful Golden Quality items.
He also wanted to know how Catherine was doing, as he hadn't received any updates from her for a long ti. There were many things to consider.
Charles couldn't help but take a deep breath. He would take it slowly and tackle everything one step at a ti.
The first thing to focus on was the Infinity Isles. Fortunately, he had arranged for Soren to investigate the area, so by now, Soren should have gathered so useful information.
