Upon seeing this scene, the Kingston viewers were overjoyed, and the chat beca lively again:

"Serves him right! It must be that the heavens couldn't stand watching Charles be so unlucky!"

"Exactly, no one's luck could be this bad—first the arrow sses up, then there just happens to be an Earth-shifting Salt Snake underground."

"I told you, Charles is shaless. What kind of skill is it to rely on ranged attacks for an advantage? Real combat should be fought up close!"

"Yeah, yeah, the heavens are watching!"

More and more comnts like this flooded the live stream, causing the Genosha viewers to boil with anger.

What kind of nonsense was this? Was it really necessary for a Beast Master with ranged attack abilities to abandon their strengths and engage in close combat just to et so arbitrary standard?

Only a Beast Master with serious issues would do that!

The Genosha viewers now understood the Kingston perspective—that whenever sothing unfavorable to them occurred, they would condemn it from a high and mighty position.

If the situation had benefited them, these sa people would have forgotten their stance faster than anyone else. They were like chaleons, changing color at the drop of a hat!

Even Flint, the neutral comntator, couldn't stand it anymore. He spoke up: "To the viewers in the live stream, according to records, the Death's Night Raven has a unique skill that brings misfortune to its enemies. This misfortune is invisible and intangible, but it is very real."

"Clearly, Charles was affected by the Death's Night Raven's skill, which caused him to miss the opportunity that could have determined the outco of the battle. It's a bit unfortunate."

Flint explained, expecting that the Kingston viewers might tone down their comnts a little. However, he was surprised to find that they were still relentless, continuing to send such comnts:

"What do you an, 'deciding the outco of the battle'? Charles is just sneaky. We never knew he could use a longbow so accurately. If Miles Carter and the others had known, they would never have let him do this!"

"A longbow is so much stronger than other weapons. Charles clearly has the advantage with his weapon type. Our Beast Masters are the real power!"

Seeing these comnts, Flint let out a helpless smile. So people just couldn't be reasoned with. He never expected so many people in Kingston would think like this.

By their logic, there was no need for this battle to continue. The Genosha genius Beast Masters should just surrender and admit defeat.

Charles is so good with a bow and arrow? If you've got the skills, use it! Don't criticize him for using the advantage of his equipnt type just because you can't do the sa!

What, does that an in every future battle, competition, or confrontation, bows and arrows can't be used anymore?

The real shaless ones are these Kingston viewers.

As a neutral comntator, Flint couldn't express such sentints directly, so he could only take a deep breath and try to ignore the comnts flooding in from Kingston viewers.

In the red zone, the battle on Charles' side was progressing just as most people had expected.

Because of the Earth-shifting Salt Snake, the distance between Charles, Miles Carter, and Skylar had widened, and they couldn't be caught for the ti being.

After dealing with the Earth-shifting Salt Snake, Charles quickly disposed of it and retrieved a piece of Blood-red Jade from its body.

At this point, Charles looked into the distance, but Miles Carter and Skylar were no longer visible.

The situation had now turned into one where the hunter would follow various traces and clues to chase down the fleeing prey.

Charles directly released the Affliction of Mutated Beast Mastery status, summoned Max, and used his keen sense of sll to lock onto the general direction. He then had Mia fly overhead to see if she could spot anything.

Charles himself also carefully observed the surroundings, trying to find footprints, trampled plants, broken branches, or anything else that could point to the direction in which Miles Carter and Skylar had fled.

These were all clues that could lead to the path the two had taken, and as an excellent Beast Master, none of these signs could be overlooked.

In the live stream, Flint watched Charles' professional actions and couldn't help but show admiration on his face. He instinctively spoke:

"I didn't expect it—everything Charles just did was perfect. A Beast Master who has lived in the wild for a long ti would only be able to reach this level. Now, it's going to be difficult for Miles Carter and Skylar to escape completely."

"However, we should note that in areas where visibility is limited, like the thicket and forest areas, Miles Carter and Skylar might set up a trap to lure Charles into exposing a weakness."

...

In a tavern in a small town near Celestial City's red zone, Kairos gloomily stared at the live stream on his phone, listening to Flint's comntary, who was an eighth-level Beast Master.

He raised his drink and downed it in one go, then slowly spoke to Seraphina, who was sitting beside him:

"I didn't expect it... the fourth-level Beast Master who almost defeated back then... turned out to be this guy!"

"He's not even nineteen yet!"

"And he went from a fourth-level Beast Master to a fifth-level Beast Master!"

"How could soone like that co from a place like Genosha?"

Kairos felt a bit uneasy in his heart. He had always thought Charles was in his twenties and only had the strength of a fourth-level Beast Master. Even though his combat abilities were strong, he had believed Charles wouldn't ever be stronger than him!

I didn't expect it... all of that was a lie!

Charles is not even nineteen yet and has already beco a fifth-level Beast Master.

Seraphina looked at the frustrated Kairos, unable to stop a smile from tugging at the corner of her mouth. This version of Kairos was a rare sight; he usually exuded an air of arrogance and pride, but now he was subdued!

However, ever since the last encounter with Charles, Seraphina had been thinking about Charles' mystical beast, which gave her an unsettling feeling. Unfortunately, she wouldn't be able to return to the Suspended Mountain anyti soon, otherwise, she would definitely investigate further.

Since Charles had already beco a fifth-level Beast Master, and she had learned from Soren about the events happening in the Lnfinity Lsles forest, she wondered if Charles would also get involved in the events there.

Seraphina voiced her thoughts.

Upon hearing this, Kairos' eyes instantly lit up. He gripped his drink tightly and said excitedly, "That would be even better. I can finally redeem myself! I will treat him as a real competitor and give it my all!"

Seraphina lightly teased, "Sounds like you're saying you weren't serious in your previous fight with Charles."

...

Ti passed, and the day gradually turned into evening.

In the glow of the setting sun, the entire red zone was bathed in a strange, eerie red light, creating an unsettling atmosphere.

Charles sat on a large tree branch, leaning back against the trunk, quietly gazing into the distance, lost in thought.

He knew that Miles Carter and Skylar were ahead.

Following the original strategy, as long as he could hold them off, that would be enough. However, after the previous battle, Charles had gained a better understanding of his own strength, as well as the rough strength of Miles Carter and Skylar.

He vaguely sensed that if he went all out, dealing with these two wouldn't be much of a problem.

But Charles couldn't shake a feeling of uncertainty. He didn't know what special tricks or hidden cards Miles Carter and Skylar might have.

Miles Carter had said he would kill him, and that wasn't an idle threat.

Charles had definitely felt the intense murderous intent back then, and the fact that Miles Carter turned and ran had caught him off guard. But after thinking it through, he could vaguely guess what Miles Carter was planning.

Charles looked into the distance and muttered softly, "Is it because you want to kill so badly that you're trying to avoid all unforeseen variables?"

"What exactly do you have that can kill ?"

Charles kept analyzing the situation. There was nothing else demanding his attention right now, so he had the ntal energy to think this through properly.

The reasons why Miles Carter and Skylar didn't imdiately launch an attack were nurous, and it wasn't easy to analyze from this perspective. Instead, Charles focused on thinking about what kind of thod could be used to kill him.

The reason Miles Carter fled could be either because, once he found his companion, he would have a way to kill him, or because Miles needed ti to use so thod to increase his own strength.

Another possibility was that Miles Carter might try to use soone else to kill him, such as in a special environnt where not only could it enhance Miles' power, but also weaken Charles. Alternatively, Miles could use so ferocious beast to wear him down, and then, in the end, Miles Carter would step in to finish everything off.

These were the possible thods, and it would take so ti to gather information, either to rule out or confirm each one.

This kind of strategy and ntal contest was no less intense than a life-and-death battle. One small mistake, and one could fall into the enemy's rhythm, becoming overwhelmingly disadvantaged.

The real world of Beast Masters was filled with combat, but that wasn't everything.

Humans were intelligent beings, and intelligence itself was a powerful form of attack.

While Charles was deep in thought, Max, who had been scouting ahead, returned.

Max communicated with Charles: "Master, there's a strong scent of blood ahead, and the scent of a ferocious beast's corpse. Their scents have separated, so they should be acting separately."

Charles slowly stood up from the tree branch, gazing into the distance. He then lightly leapt, landing smoothly on the ground.

When he reached the spot where Max had detected the anomaly, he saw the corpse of a ferocious beast lying on the ground. Its fur had been stripped off, and much of its flesh was missing.

Charles didn't rush. He activated his Divine Domain, carefully observing all the details of the surrounding environnt. Soon, he spotted a plant in the grass nearby, with only its roots remaining.

Charles smiled faintly. He recognized the plant—it was an alchemy material capable of temporarily masking body odors.
