Rainy walked in and saw this scene, money flying all over in the air before it eventually landed. She rushed forward, her eyes turning red.

"Cole! You’re going too far!"

Cole looked at Rainy, who had appeared out of nowhere. He took out so remaining money from his bag, throwing it at the faces of the two sisters.

Then, he glanced at his watch, speaking coldly to Olive.

"I’m giving you only three days. If you still won’t sign after three days, don’t bla for using other thods.

"If you’re sensible enough, you can still get enough money to live comfortably for the rest of your life. But if you resist, you will end up with nothing."

After saying that, he turned and left.

Rainy wanted to chase after him to argue but was stopped by Olive, who crouched down and began picking up the money from the ground one by one.

She looked at the agreent, trembling with anger.

"Sis, he’s been so outrageous. Why haven’t you divorced him?!"

Hearing the word divorce, Olive’s hand trembled. Holding in her grief, she said, "This is my matter. You don’t need to worry about it."

Rainy was truly angered by her sister’s stubbornness. She kicked all the money to the side, stopping Olive from picking it up.

"It’s just money, isn’t it?! I have more than enough. Whether it’s to support you or Larry, I promise neither of you will have to suffer anymore!"

"Sis! Mom and Dad were in a loveless marriage before—don’t you rember what happened? Both you and I went through those painful tis. Do you want Larry to walk in your footsteps?!"

The few words stabbed right into Olive’s heart, and she couldn’t hold back anymore, collapsing on the ground.

"I can’t get a divorce!"

After that, she cried out as she recounted her story with Cole, from being acquaintances to getting deceived. In the end, he had been threatening and imprisoning her.

"This is my life—it’s a crappy one. Satisfied now?!"

Rainy was shocked; she never imagined her sister had been living such a life, the pain gnawing at her heart. She slowly crouched down and gently held Olive in her arms.

"Sis, I really didn’t know about this...

"But now that I know, you don’t have to worry anymore. I’ll definitely help you and Larry get away from that scumbag!"

At Lawrence Group.

Steven was in the office handling work, while Emma was on her phone and chatting happily with her brother.

Since Steven had promised to take her out for dessert later, he brought her to the office today.

It was a great feeling to have her around. The little one just made everyone feel happy.

She had just shared a new joke she found online with Alex. Before he could react, she was already giggling away.

"If I tell this joke to Larry, he will definitely laugh even more."

When she ntioned Larry, Emma thought montarily and quickly asked her brother.

[By the way, Brother, that rotten dad of Larry’s hasn’t hit him again, right?]

Alex looked at Larry, who still had scars on his forehead. He recounted everything that had happened at the hospital the previous day to Emma, with her reacting one after another.

[What?! Aunt Rainy is Larry’s aunt?!]

[What?! Larry’s dad hits his mom?!]

[What?! Larry’s dad tries to kick his mom out?!]

The string of events made her puff her cheeks in anger, being soone who pursued justice.

[Such a dad is terrible!]

Just as she was about to start a tirade against him, Zane suddenly walked in.

"Mr. Lawrence, the vice president of Flynn Family Group—Mr. Foster—is here to see you. He wants to report on the progress of the cooperation project."

Steven nodded.

Hearing that the bad man was coming, Emma quickly ran to her dad with a serious look. She began, "Daddy, he’s a big bad guy. Quickly cancel the cooperation with him!"

Steven was surprised. What was going on with his daughter?

"Why?"

She then told him about what happened at the hospital yesterday.

"Anyway, he’s just a bad man. We shouldn’t work with people like him!"

He looked at her with so admiration. Her talent in having clear distinction between love and hate was indeed a rare and good quality.

"Dad knows."

Before long, Cole entered Steven’s office. He sat in front of Steven, only then noticing the little one in his arms.

Seeing the child’s face, he gasped.

He didn’t expect that the kid from the hospital was Mr. Lawrence’s son!

On the other hand, Steven noticed Cole staring at his daughter for too long and impatiently spoke up.

"Do you have sothing to say? This isn’t a place to daydream!"

Cole finally snapped back to reality, saying, "The concrete project between the Flynn and Lawrence families is progressing quite smoothly. I wonder what arrangents Mr. Lawrence has in mind next?"

Steven’s lips curved into a smile.

The Flynn and Lawrence families? It was rely an outsourced minor project, yet he had the audacity to glorify his family.

"From today onward, cancel the cooperation.

"Not only this project, but every other partnership we have with you. The Lawrence family will no longer cooperate."
