Ethan heard Amy’s words and was so shocked that he froze imdiately. Before he could react, she had already walked up to Steven and handed him the phone.

He rushed forward to try to snatch her phone away, but just as his hand was about to touch it, Steven took the phone right out of his reach.

If this scene were like a slow-motion shot in a TV drama, anyone could’ve clearly seen the fear on Ethan’s face.

"Big Brother! No!"

Steven nearly had his eardrums burst by his shout. After giving him a warning look, he looked at the phone.

Ethan silently chanted in his heart, ‘It’s over, it’s over! Alex, Emma, I’ve done my best...’

However, the anger he anticipated from Steven did not happen. Ethan stared at his brother, only to see the latter returning Amy’s phone with a confused look.

"There’s nothing here. What were you trying to show ?"

Amy took the phone back. Just as he said, the news page that was there just monts ago was now blank.

Ethan silently breathed a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, Zane was fast enough and deleted the news imdiately.

On the other hand, Amy was confused.

"Earlier, I saw so news about Alex livestreaming a chess ga with soone else, and it hada photo of him dressed up as a girl. I was worried about Alex, so I ca to ask you."

Steven didn’t believe her words at all.

"Alex doing a live stream? That’s impossible."

He obviously understood his son. Alex usually disliked noisy environnts filled with people, so the thought of him starting a livestreaming and facing so many strangers online was simply sothing unbelievable.

Ethan quickly tried to smooth things over.

"Amy, maybe you saw it wrong. After all, kids these days look quite similar, so it’s easy to make a mistake."

Amy recalled the picture of Emma she had seen. How could she possibly mistake such distinct features with another kid? It was definitely Alex!

"I’m not mistaken. The news even called Alex a ’chess prodigy little girl.’ Steven, could it be that Alex’s fooling around and hiding it from you...?"

Steven’s expression turned cold. He knew his child well, and even if it was true, nobody had the right to judge Alex for what he wanted to do.

"I’m telling you, it’s not Alex."

However, the term "chess prodigy little girl" did ring a bell for him...

He tried to recall where he had heard that before, suddenly rembering the sweet phrase in his mind, "Sugar Daddy.”

It was the voice of that little girl whom he had impulsively spent a lot of money on when he watched that live stream with Ethan before. She was called the "chess prodigy little girl."

Back then, everyone online wanted to know what she looked like, but he lost track of the story after that.

Amy probably wouldn’t have made this trip unless she was certain.

This ant that Alex’s photo had been taken and used as that little girl’s identity.

What she planned to do had nothing to do with him; he only cared for the fact that Alex’s photo had been leaked.

Thinking about it, he turned to Ethan and instructed, "Register an account for . I want to watch that girl’s live stream!"

anwhile, Zane quickly found the owner of the live streaming company.

He was sitting in the owner’s office, looking serious. The owner was standing beside him, nodding and smiling awkwardly.

"Zane, I wonder what brings Mr. Lawrence’s assistant to ?"

Zane didn’t even lift his eyes, his voice naturally authoritative as he spoke.

"You got the ’chess prodigy little girl’ photo?"

The owner wiped his cold sweat and nodded.

"Yes, I was just thinking that creating so buzz could help Mr. Lawrence’s internet business make more money."

Zane coldly looked into his eyes and said, "Don’t flatter yourself. Fortunately, what you did didn’t cause a major impact. From now on, that photo is not allowed to be used. If I see it anywhere again, you might as well start packing and head back ho."

The owner was confused, wondering if that little girl had a connection with the Lawrence family.

"Yes, yes, yes. May I ask how this little girl is related to Mr. Lawrence?"

"That person has nothing to do with Mr. Lawrence, but the photo is important. I don’t care if this little girl is trying to gain attention or sothing; just don’t let this happen again."

With that, he stood up and left.

After sending Zane off, the owner was puzzled.

His assistant looked at the photo and muttered, "From that assistant’s tone, the person in the photo probably isn’t the little girl but soone related to the Lawrence family. Boss, did we get the wrong photo?"

The owner scratched his head.

"Forget about it for now. We can’t ignore Mr. Lawrence’s orders—the photo can’t be published anymore. Let’s observe if there’s any connection between the little girl and the Lawrence family. We will plan accordingly. I hope I didn’t see anything wrong."

At the Whitmore family’s residence.

Thomas was having a great ti playing chess with Emma. After finishing dinner early, he went to bed to rest.

He hadn’t had such a comfortable, complete sleep in a long ti.

anwhile, after Emma had a simple dinner prepared by Edwin, she decided to start another live stream. She wanted to send the watch to Steven as soon as possible.

Once the stream started, people ca to play against her one after another, but their skills weren’t on her level. They lost within a few gas, fleeing in defeat after that. Not being able to see any exciting matches, the viewers were gradually leaving the stream.

[This is boring, let’s go.]

[This stream is only worth watching when she’s playing against the top donor.]

Emma observed the dwindling audience and the pitifully few rewards, feeling down as a result.

The top donor had always been Thomas, but he didn’t log in today; he was probably busy with other matters.

In the live streaming company’s backend, the owner watched the decreasing numbers in Emma’s stream and couldn’t help but frown.

All of a sudden, his assistant rushed in and said, "Boss, we got so information!"
