Chapter 755: Chapter D271: Judgent Court_2
The Depraved Hero yawned and stretched lazily, the leather jacket lifting to reveal a hint of a tan, healthy waistline.
Even though she made no effort to restrain her captivating charm, most of the passing citizens only dared to glance furtively at the flamboyant black-haired girl, quickly lowering their heads as they passed by, as if to avoid drawing her attention.
Occasionally, the Depraved Hero would mischievously let her gaze fall on a passerby, a aningful smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. Those she fixed her eyes on would often stop in their tracks, forcing an uneasy smile until confirming she hadn’t called out to them, they would sigh in relief and depart hurriedly.
A few would bow their heads to greet her, and so children passing by would gaze at her in awe and admiration, prompting the Depraved Hero to pull at the corners of her mouth, casually waving a hand in response.
These reactions were not solely due to the Depraved Hero making a na for herself in the Holy City over just seven days—although that was not incorrect—but more because of the uniform she wore, distinctly different from the nun’s attire.
It was a form-fitting leather uniform, sectional with key areas covered by reinforced leather and armor, equipped with pockets of varying sizes and straps for weapons, and the slightly oversized Evil-breaking Sword hanging steadily behind her.
One glance suffices to understand this was a combat-oriented attire, conspicuously at odds with the city’s peaceful atmosphere.
The single-shoulder cloak cascading from her left shoulder, embroidered with Holy Text in golden thread, clearly signified the young girl’s identity to the citizens.
—The Judgent Court.
To the citizens of the Holy City, both their protector and entity to steer clear from.
Unlike the Heresy Court, which carefully selects its targets, the Judgent Court boldly strikes against anyone remotely tied to evil.
Despite the constraints of Spiritual Precepts, the Law Enforcent Team doesn’t resort to excessive violence, yet even if one firmly believes in their own innocence, being targeted by the Judgent Court signifies evil lurks nearby.
Even within the Holy City, built brick by brick by the Church, there exist areas secluded from the light’s reach.
The prolific results from the Judgent Court’s frequent actions demonstrate their unwavering accuracy.
Therefore, being targeted by them is not sothing citizens of the Holy City can shrug off.
Thus, the Judgent Court’s uniform becos a symbol of reverence.
“Happy tis always pass swiftly.
Since the main body is awake, let’s give it one last shot~”
The Depraved Hero licked her lips, red eyes blinking lightly, perception suddenly surged like a torrent.

“No results as expected, regrettable.”
Before the perception could fully expand, a baseless foreboding of ‘no gain’ rose within her.
True to the foreboding, upon closing her eyes to carefully sense the surrounding environnt and confirming nothing was gained, the Depraved Hero shook her head.
“Well, for those daring enough to infiltrate the Church’s stronghold, vigilance is undoubtedly high.”
Seven days ago, she separated from the main body and, during the route to retrieve the Sword at the Evil-breaking Church, by chance intercepted a group from the Black Gate and seized a heavily encrypted and evidently significant letter.
After handing over the group to the Church personnel, she followed the Sergeant and the Evil-breaking Bishop to the Evil-breaking Church and naturally headed straight for the Sword on the offering platform, only to be stopped by the Bishop, nearly getting into a fight.
The weapon she ticulously repaired in the dream world, this Bishop not only failed to show gratitude, offering it openly, but also dared to disobey—
However, in the end, the Depraved Hero successfully acquired the Sword.
The Evil-breaking Bishop posed no difficult requests, rely hoped she and the Sergeant would pray over the Sword, a re procedural affair.
Though the Evil-breaking Church had long fallen, it remains an ancient renowned church, even for a Saintess Candidate, one cannot simply take the Holy Artifact without question.
Besides, the Evil-breaking Church’s value is limited to this; apart from its history, it holds no other coveted entities, and the Evil-breaking Bishop is not an obstinate person, hence after the prayer, solemnly handed the Sword to her.
Afterwards, the Depraved Hero noticed her main body seed occupied with sothing, unable to tend to her, thus she malevolently sought out the Judgent Court, accompanying them in the search for traces of the Black Gate.
Ordinarily, joining the Judgent Court isn’t so easy, but surely her Saintess Candidate status, paired with thwarting the Black Gate’s sches twice counting the border, coupled with the Sergeant’s endorsent…
In short, these seven days have been exceedingly fulfilling for the Depraved Hero.

Despite the seven-day brevity, the Depraved Hero and Judgent Court’s achievents were undeniably abundant.
After confirming no malicious intent towards her from the surroundings, the young girl briskly made her way back to the Judgent Court’s base—a cathedral grand and solemn in tone.
The Judgent Cathedral’s atmosphere remained quiet and solemn, with clergy mostly bearing stern expressions, not speaking lightly, exuding an aura of competence.
Among this crowd, the Depraved Hero’s presence stood out, despite wearing the sa uniform, she distinctly separated herself from the others.
Yet, along the way, several greeted her with bowed heads, so less experienced judges even halted to extend salutations.
The Depraved Hero returned the greetings joyously, evidently savoring the experience.
In these seven days, she wasn’t a hindrance to the Judgent Court.
She flicked her fingers against the Sword’s hilt behind her with a light laugh, moving through the corridor.
“I said I’d help you eliminate more evil.”
Dirty Heart Language—this ability manifested when she was a curse, erging to corrupt her after defeating the main body.
The malice in humans is unfathomably deep, if perpetually surrounded by malice, one naturally gravitates towards opposing humankind.
Yet even when facing familial malice, the Hero remained true to herself, and following that, as a curse she was accepted, becoming the counterpart to the main body, thus this ability found no practical application.
But now, it found new utility.
Under the Church’s prolonged managent, the Holy City’s security thrives, animosity between people is rare, while a Saintess Candidate is overwhelmingly welcod.
Even the once angered potions store owner, when questioning the damage she inflicted, at most can’t be considered malicious.
For intrinsically, his anger and aggressiveness target the loss suffered, wishing for rightful punishnt instead of deliberately aiming to harm the Saintess Candidate.
“Thus, within this Holy City, anyone daring to harbor malice towards a Saintess like , searching ten would reveal ten problematics.”
Holding this premise as truth, on the first day at the Judgent Court, the Depraved Hero apprehended several informants monitoring the vicinity.
Donning the Judgent Court’s uniform with the Saintess Candidate identity, she pursued further, knocking doors and within seven days caught nurous Black Disciples.
By now, even her ostentatious manners were perceived by many in the Judgent Court as an act to lure the Black Gate.
“Unfortunately, almost caught, let the key slip away.”

Returning to her personal lounge, the Depraved Hero collapsed onto the sofa.
Though the past few days bore significant accomplishnts, ultimately they failed to capture the leader of the opposition, the Black Gate’s instinct remains sharp, although the Judgent Court’s operations were fast and covert, yet allowed the Black Dream’s key to escape.
They couldn’t even glimpse the enemy’s appearance, and the notion of such a big catch slipping away was displeasing to the Depraved Hero.
“Speaking of which, I wonder if that letter has been decoded yet?”
[Letter decryption (70 success)]
