Capítulo 718: Pat on the Head 2
“…A newborn nightmare?” the Depraved Hero murmured softly, a hint of contemplation flickering in the red eyes.
“It hasn’t fully rged with the cluster yet, seems like it’s drawn to us.”
She casually tidied her hair that was tousled by the wind, her expression had returned to calm, her gaze sharp, swiftly replacing the mindless form that only waits for battle to make decisions.
“But this is just fine,” she flashed a wicked grin, “if it’s a nightmare that was just born, there is more likely to be information left about that Great Demon.”
When the owner of the dream was alive, if they were eroded by the Great Demon, their soul after death would beco the breeding ground for Nether Sea Dream.
Therefore, the newborn nightmare may perhaps, like the rmaid Witch’s skeleton, retain fragnts of the original owner’s mory.
Of course, the rmaid Witch, who was involved in suppressing the Nether Sea Dream during her lifeti, is special, not all corpses can nurture such high-level nightmares.
“Anyway, if we take care of these guys on the shore, we should be able to gather information significant enough for the Church to take notice.”
The Depraved Hero rolled her shoulders, rubbed her hands together, ready to beckon the Hero to leap off the tower, but realized the Hero had turned around, the Erald Eye directly gazing at another direction.
“Hmm? What is it?”

Following the body’s gaze, the Depraved Hero’s eyes also drifted toward that direction, blinking the crimson eyes in confusion.
“Over there is… the center of the Holy City?”
They are currently at the edge of the Land of Dead Dreams. Although here doesn’t fully overlap with the real city’s location, nor does the size match, the general direction remains consistent.
And the direction the Hero gazes in is undoubtedly the central region of this dreamscape world, aligning with the real world’s Holy City’s center, ho to the Pure White Holy Land and Cathedral.
“Did you see anything?”

♛: A Maiden’s Dream
“…Nothing at all?”
The Depraved Hero stared at the sa direction for a long ti, seemingly finding nothing particularly noteworthy.
“Once consciousness is separated, sharing the body’s thoughts is no longer possible. Could it be that the cursed blessing is babbling again?” She frowned.
Of course, it wasn’t completely blank.
Indeed, just paying attention reveals that the closer to the center of the Land of Dead Dreams, the sparser the distribution of dream ruins, unlike the chaotic heaps at the periphery, piled up like a forsaken junkyard.
Moreover, the size of dream ruins grows larger, compared to which even the tower beneath their feet seems insignificant.
Thus, according to these patterns, it’s simple to deduce that the Hero’s gaze is directed toward the center of this continent.
The remnants falling into this Land of Dead Dreams, though their appearance is irregular, generally, the spiritual power strength of the dream’s owner positively correlates to the scale of remnants.
The deeper the dream, the more massive and even twisted the leftover things beco.
Simultaneously, the sparse distribution of remnants also indicates that not many reside there in reality.
But these are not the most direct proofs.
At the very center of the Land of Dead Dreams, there’s a crystal-like pillar of light connecting heaven and earth.
The towering pillar neither dazzles nor possesses a heart-shocking holy aura, resembling a transparent crystal column, serene and ripple-free, almost forgettable at first glance.
Initially visiting this dreamscape, the Hero was also drawn to the pillar.
However, it seems rely existent there, without any peculiarity. Moving away from the central region, within this monochro world, it appears as a non-intrusive bright white line in the background.
Having accustod to this oddity, neither of them focused on the pillar afterward.
After all, this dream realm is inherently bizarre, exploring each absurdity would be a serious waste of ti.
But now—
The Depraved Hero turned her gaze back to the Hero, squinted, patiently waiting for the body’s next action.
1. Not fighting?
2. Hello, nice to et you
3. Are you the Saintess of this generation?
4. It’s dangerous here

The Hero raised her head, Erald Eye gradually sharpening focus.
A long ringing alarm in the spirit, in the Hero’s vision, the star guiding her towards ultimate goodness strobing rapidly, light and dark, seemingly issuing a warning.
Just witnessing such radiance, inner strings inevitably tense, enveloped by uneasy tension.
Yet, despite the blessing’s urgent alert, she didn’t perceive a threat of death from it.
More like a chaotic vortex rapidly approaching, if not wishing to disrupt the predetermined destiny, shatter existing tranquility, it’s best to quickly distance oneself.
