Chapter 416: D153. The Lant of War_3

The loyal familiar thought so.

Seeing he was indeed unhard, the Hero finally breathed a sigh of relief and began to recall the recent events, taking in her surroundings.

But before she had a chance to look around, the black cat by her side suddenly raised its head, its pupils contracted, and it let out a piercing cry.

The warning cry startled the Hero, who quickly spread her Perception wide, taking in the situation around her.

Above the rocky do, a network of cracks spread rapidly, sprawling out like a spiderweb.

The miasma and Magic Elent that supported the existence of the Secret Realm was largely purified by the Phoenix’s flas, and the flas’ fierce burning caused a dramatic change in the cave’s air pressure.

Under the mounting pressures, the underground relic’s space could no longer bear the weight of the earth overhead. Rocks and dust poured down like rain, thunderously loud.

“This place is going to collapse!” The Hero’s cry was drowned out by the enormous roaring sounds. She quickly looked towards the secret path they ca from, only to find it blocked by fallen boulders, completely sealing the exit.

“Please hold on as best as you can. It’s a pity we didn’t get the chance to explore this relic, but I’m preparing the Teleportation Gate already.”

Hunting Knowledge’s calm telepathic ssage echoed in the Hero’s mind, accompanied by the sound of flipping pages, as a precise Magic Technique took shape amid the fluctuations of Magic Power.

“Okay, I understand!”

The Hero imdiately reacted, raised her hand to call the black cat which agilely leaped into her embrace. The Gleaming Scale Serpent also quickly reverted to its original form, its figure Dissipated, leaving only a Crystal Core floating beside the Hero, guarding her like a faithful Guard.

Then the Hero extended her hands, with the unique Trait of the Finger Claw flying into her grip under the guidance of Magic Power, embedding firmly between her fingers.

She clenched her fists together, and the burst of golden Radiance enveloped her like an eggshell.

Rocks continued to rain down from the do, the pattering impact sounds like that of a rapid rainstorm, with so rocks larger than the Hero herself falling with a terrifying force, burying the surrounding flas.

But this seemingly fragile golden eggshell stood solid as a rock, its light flickering steadfastly amidst the terrifying collapse, never extinguishing.

[Due to the Invincible effect, the Hero is unaffected by falling debris]

Inside the eggshell, looking at the Teleportation Gate that Hunting Knowledge was steadily setting up, the Hero also let down her guard.

Thank goodness, this way I can return safely—

The Hero’s Erald Eye blinked, and suddenly she rembered sothing.

Wait, why did I co here?

“Ah! My materials!”

[Due to the massive Failure of spatial stability, the Hero and others will leave through Teleportation, with only one round to gather materials (Team D2, Agility 121, Extre Failure -30)]

Count Mansion.

The sun had already set, and in the sitting room where they had been waiting all day, the elderly grandfather and the village chief grandma were visibly tired.

Although they only sat there doing nothing, the relentless anxiety and tension still brought considerable stress.

And even though the Fourteenth Princess was young, she had an ordinary Constitution, and her expression did not appear much more relaxed.

“You should all go and rest first,” suggested the Demon Hunter, unable to help but speak up at the sight.

The grandfather fell silent for a mont, then nodded and stood up first.

“You’re right, we should go and eat sothing and take a rest. It’s no use just waiting here. Princess, you’ve worked hard too, if you don’t mind, please join us in the dining room.”

Although he had also been waiting in the sitting room since early morning, upon realizing this was futile, the elderly man quickly adjusted.

“After all, even if our granddaughter knows we are just waiting here, she wouldn’t be happy,” he added with a wry smile.

“Always on her own terms,” murmured the village chief grandma softly, also standing up.

Seeing the two seniors rise to their feet, the Fourteenth Princess hesitated for a mont but eventually nodded in agreent.

“Since you both say so…”

Just as the three of them were about to leave the sitting room, the Crystal Ball on the table suddenly began to flicker violently.

“Everyone, step back!”

The Demon Hunter imdiately reacted, shielding them and moving to the edge of the room.

The Crystal Ball shattered abruptly, its Magic Power-constructed fragnts not falling to the floor but rather dissipating into countless points of light in the air.

The little Hunting Knowledge, once trapped inside the Crystal Ball, was now free, floating in midair with the sound of rapid page-turning. The fog-like darkness expanded swiftly.

The next mont, a heap of dark and ghastly Shell Fragnts poured out from the black mist, landing on the table, knocking the sofa aside, and piling into a small hill in the room.

Then, with a thick cloud of dust, a girl wearing only a coat leaped out from the black mist, landing clumsily atop the hard Shell Fragnts before quickly clambering to her feet as if nothing had happened.

The black mist shrank rapidly, and the Teleportation Gate closed; yet, before the last mont, pebbles continued to fall to the floor pitter-patter. In less than a minute, the pristine sitting room was turned into complete disarray.

The girl, her face covered in dust, her coat torn, but with large patches of fair skin showing, did not care about her disheveled appearance. Looking down at the plethora of Shell Fragnts at her feet, she took a long breath of relief.

“Luckily, luckily… Although I almost got buried, it was not a wasted trip,” she said with a trace of relief in her voice.
