Though the sewers were spacious enough for the Hero to run back and forth, they still seed quite cramped for his large fra.

The Cruising Bishop spoke with a gentle expression, tripping a fleeing goblin with his foot without any visible effort; the goblin shattered into flesh and blood upon falling, like a toppled snowman.
And just like snow lting under the sun, the blood and flesh soon vanished without a trace, leaving behind wisps of blue smoke.
“It seems we just need to prevent these goblins from escaping upwards.
The adventurers, guards, and guild mbers should all be ready, right?”
“Of course, but Mr.
Bishop, you seem not to be from our town, are you?”
The Warrior Guild Leader nodded, then puzzled.
“Don’t mind the details.
After all, I did preside over the ritual.”
Unnoticed by both, a white-robed old man lifted a manhole cover behind them, took a glance down, and then cheerily replaced it.
“Go for it, young lady.”
As if nothing had happened, the White-robed Mage, tugging his long magic wand, rged into the crowd.
The celebration’s liveliness was barely affected, save for a few guards with solemn expressions passing by him and positioning themselves next to the manhole cover.

After sensing the abrupt cessation of goblin footsteps, the Hero redirected all her attention to the Fiendish Goblin.
Reinforcents had arrived, but it didn’t matter who it was; all she knew was that she could now focus solely on taking down this formidable foe.
Who the reinforcents are isn’t important!
Any that can help eradicate goblins are good reinforcents!

Draining all her Magic Power completely, the Hero glared wide-eyed, conjuring six Fla Phoenixes, many tis larger than her current size, circling above her head.
The Fiendish Goblin, roaring and charging in her direction, hadn’t even completed half the distance yet.
The casting speed of a Phoenix is far beyond any human Mage, and even the Hero, though slightly clumsy on her first attempt, managed to complete it at an exceptional speed.
Compared to her humanoid form, it was several orders of magnitude faster.
However, if this magic failed to annihilate the enemy, then the Hero would be left with no strength to fight again.
—But there were no ifs!
“Chirp—Chirp!!!”
At her command, the six circling Phoenixes beat their wings in sequence, switching from circling to straight-line flight, forming a straight trajectory like fiery long spears, hurtling towards the Fiendish Goblin.
“Roar—!” With no way out, the Fiendish Goblin swallowed the last leg of a juvenile in its mouth, shielded its head with its thick, stout arms, and faced the oncoming fire wings.
Even the ugly Goblin, at least at that mont, truly lived up to its fiendish na.

The six Firebirds bombarded the Fiendish Goblin one after another, the first halting its charge, the second blasting off its swinging arm.
Then, the remaining four Firebirds relentlessly exploded upon its bulky body, chipping away at its flesh until they completely penetrated through.
The Fiendish Goblin, pierced by the Fla Bird’s spears, saw its fatty tissues burned to crisp, the center hollowed out into a gaping hole by the flas, leaving behind an irregular charred circle.
