"But this ti, it’s different. I’ll make sure it’s different. She deserves to know the truth now—not years later when it’s too late."

Sheng Yin tilted her head, studying him.

"You want to tell her everything? About the Yu family’s sacrifice, her broken soul, and the curse?"

"Yes," Qiao Jun said firmly.

"She has a right to know. Hiding it from her will only hurt her more in the long run."

Sheng Yin sighed, her expression conflicted.

"I admire your resolve, Qiao Jun. But you need to understand... the truth might break her. Yu Holea has already endured so much pain. If you’re not careful, this could push her over the edge."

Qiao Jun’s jaw tightened.

"I’ll take that risk. She’s stronger than you think, Sheng Yin. I’ll be there for her, no matter what happens."

Sheng Yin was silent for a mont before nodding slowly.

"If that’s your decision, then I won’t stop you. But there’s sothing else you need to know—sothing even more important."

Qiao Jun’s eyes narrowed.

"What is it?"

Sheng Yin leaned forward, her voice dropping to a whisper.

"In the tiline I ca from, Holea’s curse was never fully broken. Even after her soul fragnts started rging, the process wasn’t complete."

"What?" Qiao Jun was instantly alard. "You an to say, Holea’s soul isn’t complete yet?"

Sheng Yin nodded, then with a slightly confused expression she explained,

"Her first fragnt of soul is still missing...or maybe it has reached a dormant state. I don’t exactly, I only know that her first fragnt of soul was the problematic part."

Qiao Jun’s expression turned grim,

"I will try to find the soul fragnts...thank you for telling everything."

Sheng Yin smiled,

"You were the only one who was rational, and related to this matter. Of course, I will tell you everything."

Qiao Jun blinked in surprise,

"Don’t you hate ?"

"Hate you?" Sheng Yin was baffled. "I never hated you. I did dislike you for stealing my Lea away from , but that’s it. Why do you think I hated you?"

"So why would throw eye daggers in my direction and force to stay away from Lea." Qiao Jun asked.

A thoughtful look appeared on Sheng Yin’s face before she snapped her finger,

"Oh...you are talking about that. Actually, there was a ti when you were about to hurt Holea, each ti, I tried my best to create distance between you too.

The less close we are, the less hurt we will get. I also wanted you to suffer, why should my Lea be the only one to hurt?

I knew about your accident as well and honestly, it would be a lie to say I didn’t try to change it. I did.

However, the outco remained the sa. Have you realized you can now et Holea without any problem? Do you think I don’t know?

I just want to give you and Lea, so separate ti."

Qiao Jun stared at Sheng Yin, processing her words. For a mont, he didn’t know what to say.

"So... all this ti, you weren’t really trying to stop from being with her? You were just... protecting her?"

Sheng Yin shrugged, a faint smile tugging at her lips.

"Protecting her, yes. And maybe making things a bit harder for you because, well, I thought you deserved it. But only when you got too close to causing her pain."

Qiao Jun sighed, running a hand through his hair.

"I guess I can’t bla you for that. If I were in your shoes, I’d probably do the sa."

Sheng Yin tilted her head, her expression softening.

"You know, Qiao Jun, I never doubted that you cared about her. I just didn’t trust you to not hurt her—because sotis love isn’t enough to fix everything. But seeing how far you’re willing to go now... I think you’ve earned my trust."

Qiao Jun looked at her, surprised.

"That ans a lot, Sheng Yin. Thank you."

Sheng Yin waved her hand dismissively.

"Don’t thank yet. You have a lot of trouble coming in your way soon."

Qiao Jun was taken aback by her words, "What do you an?"

Sheng Yin smiled and didn’t continue. Qiao Jun’s eyes twitched.

"Hey... it’s not good to hide things, you know..."

Sheng Yin ignored him.

Qiao Jun shook his head as Sheng Yin’s cryptic smile lingered in his mind.

He knew she wouldn’t spill anything else, so there was no point in pressing further.

"Fine," he muttered, standing up. "I’ll figure it out on my own."

Sheng Yin chuckled softly but didn’t respond.

.....................................

After hours of searching, Qiao Jun finally found it: the Unholy Dungeon.

The place was hidden deep in the forest, surrounded by thick trees and an eerie silence.

The entrance was a massive stone archway, covered in strange symbols that seed to glow faintly in the moonlight.

The air around it felt heavy, almost suffocating, as if the place itself was alive and watching him.

"This has to be it," Qiao Jun muttered to himself. He took a deep breath and stepped closer.

His instincts told him to turn back, but his heart pushed him forward.

He didn’t enter the dungeon right away. Instead, he studied it, trying to understand its secrets.

After so ti, he realized that this was a place ant for Yu Holea. Whatever it held inside, she needed to see it for herself.

He soon reached her room and waited for her. His wait was over when Yu Holea entered the room with a cake slice in her hand.

"Jun?" Yu Holea said, surprised. "What are you doing here?"

"I need you to co with ," he said simply.

Yu Holea blinked. "Where?"

"It’s... hard to explain," Qiao Jun admitted. "But it’s important. I promise."

Yu Holea tilted her head, curiosity flickering in her eyes.

"Is this about what we talked about before?"

"Kind of," Qiao Jun said, scratching the back of his head.

"You’ll understand when we get there. Just trust , okay?"

She studied him for a mont, then smiled softly. "Alright. Let grab my coat."

A few minutes later, they were in Qiao Jun’s car, driving through the winding forest roads.

Yu Holea glanced at him occasionally, trying to read his expression, but he seed focused, almost tense.

"Jun," she finally said, "where are we going?"

"You’ll see," he replied, his tone gentle but firm. "Just... stay calm when we get there, okay?"

Yu Holea frowned slightly. "You’re acting strange. What’s going on?"

"I’ll explain everything," Qiao Jun promised. "But I need you to see it first."

They drove in silence after that, the tension in the air growing with each passing mont. Finally, Qiao Jun pulled the car to a stop.

They had reached the entrance to the Unholy Dungeon.

Yu Holea stepped out of the car and froze, her eyes widening as she stared at the massive stone archway.

"This place..." she whispered. "It feels... familiar."

Qiao Jun walked up beside her. "That’s because you’ve seen it before. In your dreams, right?"

Yu Holea turned to him, her face pale.

"Correct...that dream..."

"Let’s go inside." Qiao Jun urged.

Yu Holea nodded and soon both of them entered the place.

At one point, Yu Holea reached the circular platform where she had seen five figures sacrificing themselves...

She stood there, lost in thought. For a mont she didn’t know what to do.

"What am I supposed to do here?" she asked, her voice trembling.

"You can use your power to see the future," Qiao Jun said gently.

"But only if you’re ready. This place holds answers, but it might also bring back mories you’ve forgotten. I’m here for you, Lea. Whatever happens, you’re not alone."

Yu Holea’s eyes softened as she looked at him. "Why are you being so... careful with ?"

"Because I don’t want you to get hurt," Qiao Jun admitted.

"I know this is a lot, but I’ll be right here, okay? You can trust ."

Yu Holea nodded slowly, taking a deep breath.

She stepped closer to the dungeon, her hand brushing against the cold stone of the archway.

As she closed her eyes, she felt a strange energy flow through her—a mix of fear, sorrow, and sothing else she couldn’t na.

Behind her, Qiao Jun watched silently, ready to catch her if she faltered.

....................

The cold, suffocating air of the Unholy Dungeon brought Yu Holea back to reality.

Her knees trembled as she clutched her chest, her breaths shallow and uneven.

Qiao Jun rushed to her side, steadying her with a firm grip on her shoulders.

"Lea!" he called, his voice filled with concern. "What happened? Are you okay?"

Yu Holea’s wide eyes darted around the dimly lit space, her mind still reeling from the vision.

She couldn’t speak imdiately; the haunting images of her family’s sacrifice were etched into her soul.

"I... I saw sothing," she finally managed to whisper. Her voice was shaky, and she avoided Qiao Jun’s gaze. "It was horrible, Jun."
