As soon as Yu Holea ended the call, she hurriedly walked out of the Justice Hall.
The corridors seed longer than usual as if ti had slowed down just to test her patience. But nothing could hold her back now.
The mont she stepped outside, Yu Holea activated her power and teleported to the hospital, not caring about the consequences of using her abilities in broad daylight.
When she appeared outside Qiao Jun’s hospital room, she paused for a mont to catch her breath.
The door seed to loom large before her, a barrier between her and the reality she had been waiting for. With a deep breath, she pushed the door open and stepped inside.
The room was quiet, with only the soft beeping of the dical equipnt breaking the silence.
There was no...one inside.
Except for feminine perfu in the air and two hand bags, Yu Holea didn’t see anything.
Huh?
Yu Holea lifted her hand and slapped herself.
When she felt pain in her face, she realized it was not a dream.
So where was Qiao Jun? And why was there a new feminine perfu fragrance in the air?
Didn’t she teleport right away?
So what changed in just a few seconds?
Just then the door of the bathroom creaked open, and a figure stepped out.
Yu Holea’s breath caught in her throat as she saw Qiao Jun standing there, his hair slightly damp, and wearing a hospital gown.
He looked thinner than she rembered, but his eyes were the sa...
Magnetic and attractive.
For a mont, neither of them moved. Qiao Jun stood there, staring at Yu Holea.
"Jun..." Yu Holea finally whispered, her voice trembling.
She took a step forward, her hands reaching out toward him, but she hesitated, unsure if she was even allowed to touch him if this was real.
Qiao Jun blinked slowly, his gaze focused on her as if trying to make sense of what he was seeing.
However before Yu Holea could reach him, a voice sounded,
"Second Brother!" A sweet voice sounded in the hospital room and before Yu Holea could realize a beautiful young lady with blond hair and green eyes walked towards Qiao Jun to hug him.
"Second brother, you are finally awake! Thank god!" The young lady spread her arms to hug Qiao Jun but Qiao Jun moved back subconsciously.
The young lady was instantly dissatisfied and said,
"Brother, why are you acting so distantly? I’m Vivian! Your cousin!"
Qiao Jun said calmly,
"I know."
Then he walked toward his hospital bed.
Vivian hurriedly walked behind him and said,
"Second Brother, do you know how long you were asleep for? 3 years! 3 long years! I was so heartbroken! It’s good now! You have finally woken up."
"Hm." Qiao Jun didn’t respond to her much, he seed to process so information.
Yu Holea’s hands and legs chilled a bit. She asked trembling voice,
"Jun’er?"
Both Qiao Jun and Vivian turned to look at Yu Holea.
Yu Holea asked with a blank expression,
"You don’t have anything to say to ?"
Vivian frowned and asked,
"Who are you?"
Qiao Jun too looked at Yu Holea as if he was waiting for her to introduce herself.
Yu Holea chuckled,
"Jun’er...are you trying to prank ? Where is the rest of the family?"
Vivian frowned even more and asked,
"Hey! Before asking my cousin anything you should tell us your na."
Yu Holea ignored her.
She was only concerned about Qiao Jun’s response.
Qiao Jun however continued to stare at Yu Holea without saying anything. Yu Holea stared back.
It was as if both of them were competing against each other.
Vivian interrupted their staring ga and said,
"Miss, if you tell your na, maybe my cousin can recall you..."
Yu Holea calmly turned towards Vivian,
"Yu Holea."
"Yu Holea?" Vivian was shocked. "So you are my cousin’s rumored girlfriend?"
"She is my girlfriend?" Qiao Jun asked with surprise on his face.
"I am his fiance." Yu Holea corrected Vivian.
"What? I have a fiance?" Qiao Jun was stunned.
Just what had happened 5 years ago?
For so reason, he couldn’t recall any of his mories of the past 5 years.
Yu Holea was now sure of her suspicion and her legs softened. She lost her balance and fell down on the ground.
However before she could fall down, Qiao Jun used telekinesis to hold her.
"Careful." He said.
Yu Holea’s eyes instantly lit up and she looked at Qiao Jun with joy in her eyes,
"I knew it! You were trying to prank , right? Otherwise, if you have forgotten , why will you care about ?"
Qiao Jun’s eyes flashed when he heard Yu Holea’s words.
She was right...
Why was he so concerned about her?
Seeing the confusion on Qiao Jun’s face, Yu Holea’s heart sank.
Vivian hurriedly went forward to help Yu Holea up, however, her heels caught on the edge of the hospital bed, and she stumbled, nearly falling herself.
Qiao Jun hurriedly used his telekinesis to prevent her from falling and repeated the sa word,
"Careful."
Vivian smiled with a embarrassed expression and said to Qiao Jun,
"Sorry, I didn’t look properly. Hey, Holea, get up."
She extended her hand to lift Yu Holea up, however, Yu Holea wasn’t in the mood to listen to anyone’s words.
She stood up and walked up to Qiao Jun,
"Jun’er did you perhaps...have forgotten your mory?"
Qiao Jun stared at the beautiful black eyes, which had a shade of brow color, and unique silver hair, that made her look like a cat...
How beautiful.
Qiao Jun always felt he could never like soone just because of their appearance, but Yu Holea’s appearance made his heart skip a beat.
"Jun, have you lost your mory? Do you rember who am I?" Yu Holea asked again.
Qiao Jun ca to his sense and shook his head,
"I don’t..."
Clang.
Yu Holea turned her head and saw Mrs. Qiao and the other mbers of the Qiao Family who were standing at the door with a shocked expression.
She calmly turned toward Qiao Jun,
"I am your fiance. You can’t break off your engagent before you regain your mory."
Her voice was calm during the entire ti.
"The past should remain in the past." Another mature voice said.
Yu Holea turned around and saw an elegantly dressed woman walking inside. The woman’s face was very similar to Vivian’s.
"Aunt Mila, don’t talk nonsense!" Qiao Li shouted.
Aunt Mila smiled and said,
"Li’er am I telling the wrong thing? As far as I know, sotis its better to leave the past in the past. Jun’er, you have just woken up, you shouldn’t believe an outsider’s words just because she claims to be your fiance."
Mrs. Qiao said with a forced smile,
"Oh? Whom are you talking about? And when did you start to claim yourself as my Jun’s fiance?"
Aunt Mila frowned,
"What do you an-"
"She ans you are the only outsider over here." Qiao Li said coldly.
Aunt Mila disapproved of Qiao Li’s words and said,
"Li, is this the manner of talking with your elders?"
Qiao Zirui walked inside. The 7-year-old boy had grown to Yu Holea’s waist and looked very cute and handso.
"Oh? Are you an elder? For a mont I thought you were one of those haters, who can’t beco like my sister Lea and are jealous." He comnted.
Qiao Zifei chuckled,
"Brother you are insulting Sister Lea’s haters."
"Good! I hate them anyways." Qiao Zirui said in a cold tone.
Yu Holea’s cold heart slowly ward.
The gloom and sadness she felt earlier, slowly dissipated.
So what if Qiao Jun lost her mory? Isn’t she still here?
She will help him regain his mory!
Even when he was in a coma, he never left her side, guided her, and saved her, whenever she was in danger, so how can she leave him now?
And didn’t she have the Qiao and the Yu family by her side?
Hence the next second a smile appeared on Yu Holea’s face and she happily went forward to hug Qiao Jun.
This ti Qiao Jun didn’t react at all and Yu Holea hugged him tightly.
"I missed you! I missed you so...so...m...."
Drop.
Drop.
Drop.
Yu Holea couldn’t stop the tears in her eyes and they started to fall. Her voice choked and her chest started to ache.
She felt so sad and happy, that she couldn’t even finish her words.
Qiao Jun stood there, frozen, as Yu Holea hugged him tightly, her tears soaking into the fabric of his hospital gown.
The warmth of her embrace, the intensity of her emotions—it was overwhelming. He didn’t know what to do, how to react, or what to say.
His mind was a blur of confusion and fragnted thoughts, but one thing was clear: this woman, Yu Holea, was very important to him...
Otherwise...his chest won’t ache so much.
