"How do you prove..."
Just as Triton was about to walk into the range where Wu Liang felt he could instantly kill him, Triton suddenly stopped moving and asked with a frown and confusion.
Although it was a twisted Fierce Ghost’s mindset, there seed to be sothing odd about this "kindred spirit" in front of him.
Yet, he couldn’t quite articulate what the problem was.
"My esteed Prince, would this be enough as proof?" Wu Liang bent down and began to search for sothing.
But in the end, he didn’t take anything out; he simply opened his palm and extended it towards Triton.
This action left Triton perplexed, unable to understand what this guy intended to do.
"?"
"I know you are in a hurry, but please don’t rush. Why not take a mont to carefully feel the aura from my hand?" Wu Liang squinted his eyes and revealed a friendly smile.
At the mont he finished speaking, Triton’s phantom-like ghostly figure suddenly beca much more solid, and the oppressive sense of ghost escalated several degrees.
His eyes seed as if they were burning with flas, and with gritted teeth, he said: "I... feel the curse of the Golden City... That’s father wailing... That’s mother crying... That’s holand calling!"
At this mont, all of Triton’s doubts about everything Wu Liang had spoken vanished instantly.
Those intuitive worries lted away completely when he felt Director Long’s aura, and the curse etched deep within his soul overwheld Triton’s mind.
This scene couldn’t help but make Wu Liang exclaim—
"Is this thing’s sense of sll really that sharp?"
He rembered when he was in Director Long’s office, and upon learning about the issues with the Lost Realm, Director Long was upset about not being able to rush to the battlefield himself, Wu Liang comfortingly patted Director Long’s shoulder.
Unexpectedly, Triton sohow sensed Director Long’s aura from Wu Liang’s contact with him.
Seeing Triton’s eagerness to chop off Wu Liang’s hand and fra it as a decoration on the wall, Wu Liang understood his objective had been achieved.
Once again, in a low voice akin to a demon enticing naive individuals to sign away their souls, Wu Liang said: "Move closer and take a look, I have other artifacts from cursed people here..."
Upon hearing his words, Triton instinctively leaned in closer.
After all, he had been sealed away for years, dreaming of coming into contact with the Golden City’s curse, which was linked to Director Long and his family.
However, as he leaned forward, a strange chill emanated from behind him.
This threat was on par with the City-annihilating Ghost, making Triton turn defensively in an instant.
Yet what appeared before him was an eerie mask in red and purple hues, its hollow eye sockets staring straight at him, with a grotesquely opened mouth seemingly mocking him.
"This is..."
Swish—
In the instant Triton turned to look at the Nightmare Mask, a rusty kitchen knife silently moved up to his phantom head.
Wu Liang, wielding the knife and striking him down, even had an expression of reverence and sorrow, imrsed in his identity as the fortunate Fierce Ghost of the Golden City.
Even when the kitchen knife struck the back of Triton’s neck, he felt no killing intent from Wu Liang behind him, as if it was simply the natural thing to do.
Squelch—
When the blade penetrated the ghostly body, the sensation was sowhat astonishing, as Triton’s phantom form strangely felt akin to cutting into living flesh.
But as a Kitchen Knife Ghost without any ranged attack thods, and devoid of supernatural seals or infections, it had only one trait that not even equal-level Fierce Ghosts could surpass.
That was body strength!
In direct confrontations with the Kitchen Knife Ghost’s Breaking Blade, Wu Liang had yet to find anything of the sa level or even higher that could overco it.
So, predictably—Triton’s head and body were separated.
The mont the Fierce Ghost’s head fell to the ground, the kitchen knife in Wu Liang’s hand once again transford into fleeting shadows, slicing the remaining ghostly body into pieces no larger than a fingernail with terrifying speed.
Not only that, but even the ground stirred up a thick milky white mist, wrapping all the pieces and repeatedly grinding them down to destruction.
"This blade is called the Despicable Outsider."
Wu Liang said with a chuckle.
Then he opened the Ghost Compendium in his mind, wanting to take this opportunity to read all the information about Triton; he didn’t think it would be that easy to deal with the Lost Realm’s last Prince Fierce Ghost.
Since he had already seen its Fierce Ghost form, the Ghost Compendium would certainly record its ghost information—
[The Lost Prince’s Sorrow—Triton]
[Habit: As a prince in the Golden City of the Fierce Ghost Realm, second only to the Ghost King, he appears in the world under the leadership of the Ghost King, attempting to turn human civilization into a playground for Fierce Ghosts. However, for so reason, this led to the realm’s disappearance, making him the last Fierce Ghost of the Golden City, desiring to bring the Golden City back to the world.]
[Ability 1: Enables any life form perceiving its existence visually, auditorily, or tactilely to suffer supernatural infection and beco a secondary propagation source with the sa nature.]
[Ability 2: Can gather the sadness and life force of propagation sources through carrying a sea snail shell, forming Soul Shock; can also hide in the sea snail shell and remain indestructible.]
(Note: The crying of secondary propagation sources continuously depletes their life force and soul. When their cries cease to make sound, they utterly perish, becoming nourishnt for the Golden City’s resurfacing curse.)
[Removal thod: Simultaneously destroy both the phantom form and the sea snail shell to remove Triton.]
This ti, the Fierce Ghost information is an unprecedented special occurrence, not referring to him as XX Ghost, instead directly labeling Triton’s na, along with a prefix!
Wu Liang had never seen a Fierce Ghost’s abilities specially divided into two entries before.
The key lies in that note—the transformation of secondary propagation sources into curse nourishnt.
From the beginning of learning the Golden City curse, Wu Liang doubted its authenticity and feasibility, considering the conditions for the Golden City’s resurgence too simple.
Could Triton rely glance at Director Long, and the opponent’s body becos the entrance to the Golden City directly?
How would such a massive Fierce Ghost Realm erge from Director Long’s tiny form?
Now Wu Liang understood.
Why Triton could locate Director Long but didn’t choose to hide and infiltrate the Capital City stealthily, instead instinctively advancing with supernatural infection prominently.
Because, to truly bring the Golden City back to the world, it required ample nourishnt!
If the final step was really completed, it is likely that those Fierce Ghosts once deeply buried under the sea in the Golden City would resurrect from the bodies of those secondary propagation sources to completely replace them.
The city filled with thousands upon thousands of supernatural infected would beco part of constructing the Fierce Ghost Golden City!
Director Long’s family serves rely as the key to unlock this curse, not the actual gate.
The doors are everywhere...
