Clara hesitated as she stood at the edge of the glowing temple. Her instincts told her to investigate, but another part of her urged caution.

She ultimately chose to remain in guard of us for now.

If there was one thing she had learned from this ordeal, it was that the Abyss Tower held dangers far beyond what she had expected. Rushing in blindly could very well an death.

Turning her gaze toward the two unconscious figures—Reo and Althea—Clara bit her lip hard enough to draw blood. The coppery taste brought her a sense of clarity.

She had always considered herself a prodigy, perhaps the strongest of her generation. But now? Without Reo and Althea, she wouldn’t have lasted even an hour.

Her golden eyes focused on Althea, a cold curiosity flickering in them. Despite showing E Ranked power. Althea had defeated a C- ranked Cyclops.

It didn’t make sense. How could soone with such low asurable strength produce that kind of overwhelming power? Was there sothing hidden beneath her aura?

anwhile, Reo’s body slowly began to recover. His arm regenerated completely, the tissue stitching itself back together under the effects of the potion. Clara breathed a small sigh of relief and moved to examine his arm more closely.

Tilting her head with innocent curiosity, she continued to study him. His body wasn’t defined in a sculpted way—no chiseled abs or flashy muscles

but it had an unmistakable ruggedness. A masculine resilience. She gently pressed her fingers against his chest, feeling the hardness of his fra. Compared to her own soft and polished skin, the difference was striking.

Without realizing it, she had cradled his head in her lap. Her expression softened slightly, a faint smile tugging at her lips. She looked down at him as he lay unconscious, her fingers brushing his hair away from his forehead.

Then, a soft shift in the air.

Althea stirred.

Her divine, curvaceous form slowly rose from where she lay, stretching her limbs. As she arched her back, her presence seed to fill the entire area. The mont her Crimson eyes opened, they locked onto Clara.

The two won stared at each other.

No words were exchanged. There was no awkwardness, no embarrassnt. Just cold, calculating stares. As if two natural predators had crossed paths. The air itself turned frigid under the weight of their gaze.

Clara blinked, tilting her head innocently, her expression unreadable.

Before either could speak, Althea’s gaze shifted toward the temple. Her lips pressed into a thin line she was curious too see such thing.

Maybe she was the only one could feel it but it was Palpable That Temple was not ordinary if she is still a Goddess she was she would still be interested what is inside.

Just as Clara opened her mouth to say they should wait for Reo, he stirred.

I groaned as I woke up, my mind still hazy from the pain and exhaustion. Everything ached.

But then I realized I wasn’t lying on the ground. The surface beneath was soft... cold, yet strangely warm. As my eyes opened fully, I was greeted by Clara’s emotionless face. She gently patted my head.

"Hmm~ Awake?"

Caught off guard, I flushed and quickly coughed, trying to shake off the awkwardness as I sat up.

Looking around, I finally laid eyes on the temple. Built from golden stones that shimred like sunlight, the structure had runes etched into its walls—ancient symbols pulsing with energy. A staircase had seemingly ford from nowhere, leading directly to us.

Treasure? A trap? Or perhaps a way out of the Abyss Tower?

The three of us exchanged glances. I was the first to step forward, taking the lead. Clara followed behind, her steps quiet and asured. Althea brought up the rear, her presence still cold and watchful.

As soon as we crossed the threshold, a wave of energy washed over . It was nearly maddening—pure, concentrated power humming in the air.

Then, the system chid.

The temple’s interior was smaller than expected, with only a single chamber ahead. At its center stood three pedestals, each glowing with S-Rank energy.
