"Mr. Silas?!"
Silas heard the familiar voice of Mr. Brandon.
"Mr. Brandon?" he asked in surprise.
He felt that the face of the person walking toward him was familiar, but he didn't expect it to be Mr. Brandon, which was the reason for his surprise.
Mr. Brandon also didn't expect to see Silas in the company's branch office in San Jose.
He was surprised when he saw soone who looked exactly like Silas standing in front of the reception desk, and he decided to co and talk to him. But who knew that the person he saw was actually Silas.
He didn't expect his young client to change so much and for his appearance to improve so greatly, but that wasn't important. What was more important was Silas' reason for coming here.
"Mr. Silas, you're back from your trip? What do you need help with? I can assist you with anything you need," Mr. Brandon said with a smile.
He was very happy to see Silas. Why wouldn't he be? He had just received a cash gift of $25 million from Silas as compensation for the 'stress' he had gone through when he was searching for the island.
Silas saw how enthusiastic Mr. Brandon was and smiled. He could already guess the reason for it and he didn't mind, as he found the man's character to be likable.
"I made an appointnt for a house viewing of the house I want to purchase, and I'm here for it," Silas said.
Due to the familiarity from the previous tis they had worked together, Silas felt it would be better if Mr. Brandon took him for the house viewing. However, he knew that it would be impossible, as this wasn't Mr. Brandon's branch.
Mr. Brandon heard what Silas said and nodded. He then turned to the receptionist and told her to give him the information on Silas' appointnt.
Silas was surprised by Mr. Brandon's actions but decided to keep quiet, as he was curious to see what he wanted to do.
The receptionist was surprised by the scene happening in front of her. She didn't understand how the new branch manager and the handso young man were very familiar with each other.
Though she had her thoughts and questions, she knew better than to possibly risk her job by asking.
She imdiately got to work on her computer, brought up all the information on Silas' appointnt, and wrote it on a piece of paper which she handed to Mr. Brandon.
"Here, Branch Manager," she said as she handed the piece of paper to him, and Mr. Brandon received it with a nod.
"Thank you. What's your na?" he asked the receptionist.
"Leah, sir."
"Leah, I will rember your na," Mr. Brandon said with a nod.
The receptionist had a strange expression on her face when she heard this. Since Mr. Brandon was a new branch manager whose character was unknown, she didn't know if she should be happy that he said he would rember her na or if she should be worried.
She thought about it briefly and decided to just forget about it.
Silas was curiously watching Mr. Brandon's actions, and he was surprised when he heard the receptionist call him branch manager.
"You got promoted?" he asked with a smile and a raised brow.
Mr. Brandon laughed when he saw Silas' expression.
"Yes, it's all thanks to you, Mr. Silas."
Silas smiled in understanding when he heard what Mr. Brandon said.
He felt that it was natural. The total cost of buildings he had purchased to complete the first chain mission was more than $1 billion, which was a massive expenditure.
In addition to that, a property portfolio worth more than $1 billion was being managed by Mr. Brandon. If all that didn't get him a promotion, then Silas didn't know what would.
"Mr. Silas, I will be your guide for the house viewing," Mr. Brandon said, and Silas nodded.
"Let's go then," he said and started walking toward the building's entrance, and Silas followed behind with a smile.
Outside, Silas walked to his car and got in, and Mr. Brandon also got in.
Mr. Brandon was surprised when he saw the car. He was expecting to see the Bugatti or another expensive luxury sports car, not a Camaro, but besides that, he decided not to pay any more attention to it.
Silas started the car and drove off towards where the house was located.
Right after they left, a middle-aged man walked to the receptionist and asked her about Silas, and he was disappointed and angry to hear that the new branch manager had replaced him.

In front of a sprawling luxury estate located on a hillside in the exclusive estates, a black Camaro stopped and two n, a handso young man and a middle-aged man, stepped out of it.
"Mr. Silas, let's go inside and take a look," Mr. Brandon said as he took the lead and started walking toward the building, and Silas followed behind.
Mr. Brandon got to the building's entrance and opened the door, allowing him and Silas to gain access to it.
"Mr. Silas, please take your ti," Mr. Brandon said with a smile as he allowed Silas to look around the house.
Silas had already read up on the building's information and seen pictures of it, which was the reason why he decided to buy it, but there's a difference between reading up on sothing, seeing pictures of it, and actually seeing it with one's own eyes.
Silas walked around the house as he took a look around, and he must say that he was very satisfied with what he saw.
Though the house didn't compare that much to the Villa, it was still a luxury estate in its own right.
Entering the estate, one would imdiately be impressed with the incredible amount of natural light pouring into every crevice of the ho's open-concept floor plan.
There were also gleaming hardwood floors leading through each room, while exquisite marble flooring was showcased in every bathroom.
The heart of this ho was actually the ultra-modern gourt kitchen, which featured granite countertops, a 6-burner gas range, a large center island, and all the other anities required for entertaining guests or intimate family gatherings. Features that Silas approved of.
This estate included 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, including an impressive primary suite complete with breathtaking views from its private balcony and an ensuite bathroom featuring a huge jetted soaking tub and a glass-enclosed shower stall.
There were multiple bonus ensuites and rooms creating unique opportunities for a ho office, gym, or playroom! There was also plenty of space for outdoor BBQs, gardening, and a large fire pit.
In addition to that, the estate was close to so of the best golfing, hiking, biking, and equestrian trails.
After Silas was done looking around the house, he was satisfied with what he saw. He walked back to where Mr. Brandon was standing and quietly waiting for him.
"Mr. Silas, how is it?" Mr. Brandon asked when he saw Silas walk back to him.
"I like it. I will make the purchase imdiately, and when you get to the office, you can prepare the papers and send them to through my attorney," Silas replied and brought out his phone to make the transfer, but he was stopped by Mr. Brandon.
The only sowhat disappointing part of the estate was that its garage had a parking space for three cars, but Silas didn't feel that this was important or a problem.
Even though he had more than 20 cars at the mont, Silas didn't feel the garage's abysmal parking space was a problem.
After Silas was done looking around the house, he was satisfied with what he saw. He walked back to where Mr. Brandon was standing and quietly waiting for him.
"Mr. Silas, how is it?" Mr. Brandon asked when he saw Silas walk back to him.
"I like it. I will make the purchase imdiately, and when you get to the office, you can prepare the papers and send them to through my attorney," Silas replied and brought out his phone to make the transfer, but he was stopped by Mr. Brandon.
"Mr. Silas, you don't need to pay for it. I will take care of everything. This is my way of saying thank you, please accept it." Mr. Brandon said as he gave a bow.
He had received the money that Silas sent to him as compensation for the 'troubles' he went through due to Silas' request for an island, and he was shocked by the amount.
A whopping $25 million!
Mr. Brandon was shocked when he saw the credit alert. He was initially happy when he saw it, but he got a slight feeling of unease the next mont.
He felt like he was about to lose sothing very important to him. He tried to suppress the feeling, but the prickling feeling only got stronger.
As an experienced businessman, he had learned to trust and follow his instincts. He imdiately left his office and made his way to Silas' Villa at Newport Beach, but he didn't expect to et Silas at the reception.
He didn't know what the feeling of uneasiness was about, but he felt that it was related to Silas and sothing he didn't want to happen was to lose Silas.
This was sothing that he would never allow to happen.
Silas saw Mr. Brandon's action and couldn't help but be surprised by it. It took him a mont to understand the reason for his action, and he couldn't help but smile when he ca to the realization.
He knew that the reason for Mr. Brandon's action was to make sure that they could still continue their business relationship.
It was understandable that Mr. Brandon wanted to thank him as he knew that he was the reason why he got a promotion, and Silas intended to accept the gesture.
Silas gave it a brief thought and felt it was reasonable.
The estate cost approximately $4.6 million, an amount he knew Mr. Brandon could afford.
"Ok, then. Thank you, Mr. Brandon. I appreciate the gesture," Silas said with a smile.
Mr. Brandon heard this and let out a silent sigh of relief.
"Thank you, Mr. Silas. We can go to the office if you want so that I can prepare the papers for you. No need for your attorney," Mr. Brandon said with a bright smile.
"Ok then, let's go," Silas said and walked out of the estate, followed by Mr. Brandon.
The two of them walked to the car, got in, and Silas started the car and drove off to Mr. Brandon's office.
