Silas started explaining his business ideas to Kim. He told her of his plan to create a gacha ga and how he was going to go about it.
The reason why Silas was telling her about his business idea was because he wanted to know what she thought about it. If that wasn't the case, Silas would have already released the ga.
Yes, the ga had already been created and Silas had tested it, and had approved of its quality.
Just as said before, it's a kingdom-building ga with dungeons, monsters, and hero elents, "ahem" female heroes, and a gacha reward system.
To explain more on this, the ga started with the player getting a territory and becoming a lord, a very familiar concept.
One of the core features of the ga: Kingdom Managent.
– The players could build and upgrade various structures in their kingdom, such as farms, barracks, and research facilities. They would manage resources like gold, food, and magic crystals to keep their kingdom thriving. They could also expand their territory by conquering neighboring lands and exploring new areas in the ga.
Another core feature of the ga: The Dungeon system.
– Located in front of the player's territory is the dungeon with a multi-floored dungeon system crawling with varieties of monsters, having a total of 100 floors, with a corresponding difficulty level for each floor.
The presence of the dungeon brings with it lots of opportunities (loot from killing players, chances of obtaining unique treasures, blueprints, crystals which were the ga's premium currency...) and corresponding disaster (dungeon breaks).
This was where the gacha reward system and the heroes ca in.
The heroes who cos with a loyalty system could be summoned through the gacha system by the players, who were the lords of a territory, to help them protect their territory from invasion from other players, from monster tide attacks, and they could help to obtain special resources by clearing the dungeon floors.
Due to the heroes' loyalty system, the heroes could leave if their loyalty to a lord dropped below a certain level. These heroes also had their own backstories and storyline, giving the ga more content.
The hero ranking system followed the star ranking system: 1 star, 1.5 stars...10 stars.
The ga's weapon and items ranking system followed the normal ranking system: Rusty, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Divine, Celestial, Ultimate. The weapons and items could be gotten from the gacha system, with so chances of them dropping during a dungeon dive.
After giving Kim a basic overview of the ga, Silas saw her go quiet as she imdiately started doing her research on her laptop.
Silas didn't need Kim's approval for the new business idea, which was the ga. The reason why he told her was because he wanted to hear her opinion on it.
Kim wasn't a ga person and he knew that, but she was soone who had been in the corporate world for a very long ti and had gained a lot of experience and insight into things, and this was the reason why he wanted to hear her opinion.
It took Kim a few minutes before she was finally done with her research. She took her eyes off her laptop and looked at Silas intently.
"Since you're telling this now, it ans that you have the ga with you," Kim said and Silas nodded.
"Can I see it?" she asked, and Silas nodded as he brought out his phone from his pocket.
He unlocked the phone, clicked on the ga's app icon, and gave it to Kim.
Kim collected the phone and started assessing the ga, while Silas waited patiently.
A few minutes later, Kim gave the phone back to Silas and nodded while she remained silent for a few seconds.
"Honestly, I really don't know much about gas, but from what I got after assessing the ga and from my quick research, I would say that the ga is very profitable.
I know the reason why you're telling about the ga is because you're very confident about it. Since that is so, you can release it," Kim said.
Silas nodded when he heard what Kim said. She was right when she said that he was confident about the ga.
The gaming market at the mont was saturated. One could say that it was oversaturated, but even with its current condition, Silas was very confident about the ga's success.
The reasons for his confidence is the ga's extrely rich content. Since he was the maker of the ga, he knew how much content the ga had and just how good the gaplay chanics were.
While creating the ga, Silas initially had the thought of creating a VR version of it for himself, but he held himself back and decided not to. That's just how good it is.
He felt that he would be putting a lot on his plate by doing that, as he still hadn't checked the full-dive VR ga that APOLLO created.
Silas was still in thought when he heard Kim ask a question.
"When do you plan to release it?" she asked.
"I was thinking about releasing it by the end of the month. The rest of the month will be for marketing it," Silas replied.
He had already given it a thought before and ca to a decision.
Kim heard what Silas said and nodded. "Ok then, let know its release date."
"Is there anything else you want to discuss?" she asked.
"No, I will be on my way ho," Silas said and stood up.
Since he had completed the objective he had for coming to the office, he felt it was ti to leave. Besides, he now had to start looking for a house to buy.
"Ok, let see you out," Kim said as she stood up to escort Silas.
Silas nodded and the two of them left the office. Kim escorted Silas until he got to the reception.
When they got to the reception, Silas nodded at Kim and walked out of the building and made his way to his car.
When he got to his car, he paused for a very brief mont before he smirked, opened the car, got in, and drove off.
Before he got into the car, Silas noticed soone taking a picture of him from quite a distance, and this was the reason he smirked.
Silas could already guess the reason why his picture was being taken.
"You took the bait that easily," Silas said to himself with a smile.
Of course, he didn't forget about the rats around the office, as they were one of the reasons why he ca to the office.
Unlike others that he openly confronted, Silas decided to not do the sa with this set. He wished to have a little fun with them.
As he drove, he didn't go ho directly; instead, he decided to drive to San Jose.
Silas's plan for going to San Jose was because of the house he wanted to buy. He had already seen a suitable one online, and he was going to the realty company's office to see the building in person and purchase it, as he had already made an appointnt.
It took him a few minutes before he got to the office of the realty company. Surprisingly and unsurprisingly, the realty company was the sa company that Mr. Brandon was working at, and the building in front of him belonged to the branch office of San Jose.
Silas couldn't help but think of Mr. Brandon and rembered that he was yet to make good on his promise to him.
He had promised to compensate Mr. Brandon for the stress he went through due to him requesting an island of an exaggerated size that could never be traded publicly.
Before walking into the building, Silas brought out his phone and made a transfer of $25 million to Mr. Brandon.
"That's generous enough," Silas said as he put his phone back in his pocket and walked into the building.
He walked into the building and made his way to the receptionist.
"Hi, I made an appointnt for a building. Na, Silas," Silas said to the receptionist.
The receptionist was stunned when she saw Silas. She was a young woman who had been working at the branch office of the company for a little over five years now, and she could swear that she had never seen anyone as handso as the young man in front of her.
'I definitely want him. I must have him,' she said to herself internally, as she ca to a very quick decision.
Silas noticed that the receptionist was quiet and shocked, a reaction he had seen very often, and he was getting quite tired of it, but he noticed that the look in her eyes changed, and he was surprised.
"Please wait, let confirm," the receptionist said with a smile that Silas knew too well, and started checking sothing on her computer.
The next mont, she picked up the telephone and inford the person responsible for Silas's presence.
"Please wait, he will be here soon," she said after hanging up, and looked at Silas with a sparkle in her eyes and a bright smile on her face.
Silas saw this and decided not to pay attention to her, as he waited for the person to arrive.
While he was waiting, he noticed soone familiar walking towards him with a bright smile on his face.
"Mr. Silas!"
"Mr. Brandon?"
