The Collier mansion in York.
Beau's expression was extrely shocked when he learned of Draco's death. He had originally planned to depart today for Comtar to retrieve the Soul Returning Fruit. However, he never expected that soone would beat him to it, killing Draco and taking the Soul Returning Fruit.
"Father, who do you think killed Draco?" Albert's expression was equally frustrated. After all, they had just located the Soul Returning Fruit, and now it had been snatched away, dashing Cielo's hopes of recovery.
"Ah..." Aida's expression appeared sowhat unusual. She had heard Beau ntion half a month ago that Draco had killed Connor. At that ti, she found it hard to accept because she had just gained his trust, and he had died.
Now, in a matter of days, Draco had also died, and the Soul Returning Fruit had been taken by soone else. However, the theft of the Soul Returning Fruit could be considered a blessing for Aida. As long as Cielo did not recover, her chances of becoming the Collier family head would still be high.
"Father, apart from our Collier family, do any others know that Connor is dead?" Albert hesitated and asked Beau.
"The heads of the families in Yarlford also know about it," Beau replied emotionlessly.
"Could it be that those people in Yarlford leaked the news and Jorge found out that Connor is dead?" Albert continued.
Upon hearing this, Beau was stunned for a mont. He suddenly turned to Albert and asked in a low voice, "Are you suggesting that Jorge killed Draco?"
"Father, even if we look at the entire country, how many people do you think could have killed Draco? Moreover, Draco had no grudges with anyone else, and no one would go to such lengths, right?" Albert analyzed with a furrowed brow.
"What are those people in Yarlford thinking? They leaked the news so quickly. They are causing harm to !" Beau exclaid with a trembling voice.
"Father, please think of a solution. If Draco was indeed killed by Jorge, then he must have already betrayed our Collier family. I think Jorge is very likely to co after us soon!" Albert said with desperation.
Beau couldn't help but take a deep breath and then spoke in a low voice, "We don't have many other options. Go and inform all mbers of our Collier family to pack their belongings and co with to Haverhead Hill!"
"Are you planning to take all of our Collier family to hide in Haverhead Hill?" Albert asked after hesitating.
"Besides this thod, what other options do you have?" Beau replied with a cold tone.
Albert looked at him without saying a word.
"I'm not Jorge's match right now. If he cos for us, all mbers of our Collier family will die by his hand. Heavenly Sect has many disciples, and with the help of several elders, I might have a chance to stand against Jorge. Besides, I don't think he would dare to easily go to Haverhead Hill, so that place is the safest for us!" Beau added in a hushed tone.
Albert was also very worried about the possibility of Jorge coming for them. After a mont of hesitation, he nodded and said, "It seems that this is the only way now. I will inform all mbers of the Collier family."
"Go ahead," Beau replied with a nod.
In reality, his heart was filled with complex emotions. He knew that if he took all the mbers of the Collier family to leave York and go to Haverhead Hill, it would result in significant losses for the family. Moreover, for a prestigious family like the Collier family, this would be a great disgrace. But apart from this thod, he really didn't know what else to do.
"I thought that killing Connor would put an end to everything, but I never expected it to bring even greater troubles to our Collier family," Beau lanted quietly.
Aida, who had been listening, quietly approached Beau and said in a low voice, "Grandfather, if all the mbers of our Collier family go to Haverhead Hill, who will manage the company?"
"For now, let the outsiders in our company take care of things. I can't think about these matters at the mont..." Beau replied with a sigh.
"But, Grandfather, we don't know when we'll be able to return to York. If we stay in Haverhead Hill for a year or longer, our Collier family's hard-earned business may be ruined..." Aida expressed her concerns.
"Father, what if we leave behind so trusted subordinates to manage the company in our absence?" Albert suggested.
"That might be possible... We will have to consider it," Beau said, his mind filled with worries.
In this dire situation, Beau couldn't help but feel a sense of powerlessness. He knew that taking the entire Collier family into hiding was a difficult decision, but it seed like the safest course of action in the face of Jorge's potential threat.
