"Mr. Sadlon, how many more days do we need to cross the Crimson Peak?"
At this mont, a man walked to Mr. Sadlon's side and asked him softly.
"Cross Crimson Peak?"
When Mr. Sadlon heard the man's words, he could not help but be stunned for a mont. Then, he frowned and said, "Young man, that's not possible. We have only walked less than one-tenth of the distance. If we continue walking we will not have enough supplies. We can only return the way we ca…"
"Only one-tenth?"
The man was speechless when he heard this.
"I have lived here for so many years and brought countless people into the Crimson Peak, but I have never been able to cross the Crimson Peak, so I advise that you give up on this idea!"
Mr. Sadlon said calmly.
The man's expression was a little helpless. He walked to Leah's side and asked with a smile, "Leah, have you taken any good photos? Let see…"
"No..."
Leah shook her head lightly.
At this mont, Leah still seed to be troubled by the fact that she had seen a person in the snow just now. If she had really seen a person at that ti, it ant that she had left him in the lurch.
"Leah, do you want to eat sothing?"
At this mont, the man asked again.
"I'm not hungry now…"
Leah shook her head lightly.
"Leah, what happened to you? Why are you acting strange?"
The man frowned and asked.
"I…"
Leah was about to speak when she suddenly heard footsteps.
"Is anyone there?"
At this mont, a voice sounded.
Mr. Sadlon could not help but be stunned when he heard that. Then, he hurriedly took out his weapon and looked at the cave entrance with a nervous expression.
"Is anyone there?"
At this mont, Connor's voice sounded again.
"Who is it?"
Mr. Sadlon asked with a frown.
"I got separated from my companions. Can you bring out of Crimson Peak?"
Connor said as he walked into the cave.
When everyone saw that Connor was just an ordinary youth, they instantly eased up a lot.
After all, Connor had a refined appearance and a thin figure. He was probably not a threat to them.
"Are you planning to leave Crimson Peak?"
Mr. Sadlon walked up to Connor and asked him softly.
"Yes, I have sothing very important to do, so I have to leave this place imdiately!"
Connor lightly nodded.
"We're an adventurer team. If you want to follow us, you can. However, we'll only be able to return the day after tomorrow at the earliest…"
Mr. Sadlon looked at Connor and said.
The day after tomorrow?
When Connor heard Mr. Sadlon's words, he frowned slightly and said in a low voice, "How about this? I can give you money, as long as you can lead out of here imdiately!"
"No…"
Mr. Sadlon shook his head stubbornly and continued, "I have my own rules. If I don't reach the location I'm heading toward, I will definitely not return…"
Mr. Sadlon had entered Crimson Peak to search for his wife's corpse. Moreover, he only had one chance every year, so no matter what, he would not choose to give up.
Connor was sowhat helpless because the current situation was very urgent. The Soul Returning Fruit was still in Draco Felton's hands. If Connor continued to waste ti on Crimson Peak, the Soul Returning Fruit would very likely fall into the hands of the Collier family.
At that ti, it would be too late.
"Are you planning to go to Comtar?"
However, at this mont, Leah suddenly asked Connor.
"That's right, I want to go to Comtar!"
Connor looked at Leah and nodded.
Leah hesitated for a mont before saying to Mr. Sadlon, "Uncle Sadlon, how about this? I don't plan to continue going further into Crimson Peak. I'll drive a snowmobile and leave with this person."
"Miss Langlie, are you sure you know the way back?"
Mr. Sadlon asked with a frown.
"Yeah, Leah, you don't even know who this person is. What if you encounter danger?"
The boy who had been talking to Leah also shouted,
"I don't think this person is a bad person. Moreover, I've taken quite a number of photos along the way. I sort of know the way back…"
Leah said softly.
Mr. Sadlon hesitated for a mont before saying softly, "Miss Langlie, if you leave with this person, you might be in great danger, so you have to think about it carefully!"
"I've already thought things through…"
Leah nodded seriously.
"Alright, I'll prepare so food and water for you. You can go with this person!"
Leah seed determined, so Mr. Sadlon did not continue to stop her.
Leah turned to look at Connor and asked him softly, "Do you know how to drive?"
"Yes!"
Connor nodded.
"That's great. The two of us can take turns driving. That way, we can get back faster!"
Leah said softly.
Connor looked at the beautiful girl in front of him with a puzzled expression, because he couldn't understand why this girl seed to be more anxious to leave than him.
"Leah, why don't I go back with the two of you? That way, I can protect you!"
A young man walked up to Leah and whispered to her.
"You don't have to do that. You'll only be a burden if you follow the two of us. You should follow Uncle Sadlon and the others!"
Leah knew the young man well. If she brought this young man along with her, it would be very troubleso.
When the young man heard Leah's words, he looked a little awkward. He sighed helplessly and did not say anything else.
A few minutes later, Mr. Sadlon helped Connor and Leah prepare a snowmobile and so food. When they parted ways, Mr. Sadlon took out a pistol and handed it to Leah, as if he was worried that Leah would encounter so danger.
Leah didn't refuse and accepted the pistol.
Just like that, Connor and the mixed-blood beauty drove the snowmobile toward the exit of Crimson Peak.
The temperature in the car was rather warm, so Leah didn't wear a thick down jacket when she drove. Instead, she had on a tight sweater.
