After Chrissie put down the wine glass in her hand, she seed a little drunk.

She took the opportunity to lean against his side and said with a coquettish look, "Handso, do you want to dance with ?"

"Dance?" Connor couldn't help but be stunned when he heard Chrissie's words. Then, he shook his head gently and said, "I don't know how to dance!"

At this mont, Chrissie was very proactive, but Connor was not sure if it was because all the won in the Yarlford Bar were like this, or rather because this woman had other motives.

"If you don't know how to, I can teach you. I'm not a bad person. I won't do anything to you…"

Chrissie pouted, then took the initiative to hold his hand and pulled him into the dance floor.

"I really don't know how to dance…"

Connor said helplessly.

"I've already said that I'll teach you. It's very simple…"

Chrissie spoke as she leaned against him, but she took the initiative to make his hand hug her slender and soft waist.

At this mont, the position of the two was very ambiguous. Connor could even clearly sll the faint fragrance on the woman's body. This fragrance had a very strange scent, as if it could easily stir his nerves.

Connor took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down.

As the dynamic music played, Chrissie's actions were even bolder. She hugged Connor tightly, as if she was going to take off his clothes at any ti.

However, Connor was very calm and tried his best to keep calm

Chrissie tried her best to seduce Connor, but he did not have any reaction. After a while, she could only give up helplessly and said, "Looks like you really don't like dancing. Why don't the two of us go for a drink?"

"Alright!"

Connor nodded lightly.

A mont later, Connor left the dance floor with Chrissie.

As Chrissie failed to seduce him on the dance floor, she began to plan on getting him drunk.

However, more than ten minutes passed, but she realized that Connor did not seem to be drunk at all. Her head, however, began to ache.

Chrissie knew that she couldn't continue drinking with Connor or she might pass out before she could get him drunk. Therefore, she pretended to be drunk and collapsed in his arms. She stared at him with her beautiful eyes and said with a sigh, "Handso, this place is really too ssy. Why don't the two of us go out and have a good chat sowhere?"

Almost any man would know what Chrissie ant. It was obvious that she was taking the initiative to invite Connor to a hotel room.

When Connor heard this, he couldn't help but sneer. Then, he said indifferently, "I'm sorry. I still have sothing else to do today. I can't leave now…"

"What's the matter? Things are already like this. Is there anything more important than ?"

Chrissie beca a little dissatisfied.

"This matter is very important to !" Connor said expressionlessly.

"..."

Chrissie sighed. Then, she said coquettishly, "Then I'll wait for you to settle your matters before we have a good chat. How about that?"

"There's no need…"

Connor lightly shook his head.

Chrissie instantly sobered up after hearing his words. She stood up and shouted at Connor, "You really don't know what's good for you!"

"Haha!"

Connor smiled.

Chrissie didn't seem to want to continue talking to Connor. She walked out of the bar in her high heels.

Connor continued to sit quietly on the spot. His expression was very calm.

Although Connor was not sure what Chrissie was going to do, he knew that this woman was very likely not simply trying to hit on him.

Therefore, after hesitating for a mont, Connor followed her out of the bar.

After Chrissie left the bar, she got into a black Rolls-Royce.

When Connor saw this car, he instantly understood what was going on. Connor had seen this car before—the license plate number of this car ended with four sixes. When Charis Yaeger went to his company to see him, she'd also driven this car.

"Looks like my guess was right. This woman was really sent by Charis!"

Connor sighed, but he didn't take the initiative to expose Charis. Instead, he turned around and returned to the bar.

Inside the Rolls-Royce.

Charis saw Chrissie get into the car and quickly asked, "How's the situation? How was your chat with Connor?"

"Miss Charis, is Connor a man or not?" Chrissie asked, exasperated.

"Wait, you failed?"

Charis said in surprise.

"It's more than a failure. This is simply an insult to !"

"What's going on? Logically speaking, since you've already made a move, no man should be able to hold back, right?"

Charis said in confusion.

Charis had known this woman nad Chrissie for a long ti. Moreover, it was not the first ti that Charis had used such a honey trap. Normally, any kind of man would eventually fall under Chrissie's skirt. It was just that so n could resist for a longer ti, while others could resist for a shorter ti.

However, it was the first ti that soone had been able to completely refuse Chrissie's charms.

"Miss Charis, I used all the thods available to today, but Connor just wouldn't take the bait. I almost told him directly that I wanted to sleep with him. I even took the initiative to invite him to a hotel, but he actually rejected . This is really the first ti I've t such a man. There must be sothing wrong with Connor!" Chrissie said excitedly.

After Charis heard Chrissie's words, her expression was a little helpless. Then, she sighed, "I didn't expect Connor to be so difficult to deal with!"

"Miss Charis, since I have already failed, I think the honey trap will definitely not work. You should think of another way!" Chrissie said.

"It doesn't matter. Although you failed this ti, the problem isn't with you, so I promised you that I wouldn't lose a single cent. I'll get soone to transfer the money to your card later!" Charis said calmly.

"Forget it. I don't lack this bit of money now. The main thing is that the incident today is really too embarrassing. To think there's actually a man who's not interested in at all…." Chrissie muttered.

Charis took a deep breath. "It seems that Grandpa was right. Connor is really not that easy to deal with!"

After saying this, Charis asked the driver to drive away.
