Half an hour later, the bell for the end of class finally rang.
Justin, Brooks, and Joel walked out of the classroom.
"Justin, where should we go to eat later?" Brooks asked.
"Let's go to the cafeteria. I don't have much money lately, so saving a bit is a good idea..." Justin replied helplessly.
"Why didn't you call if you were out of money?" At that mont, a voice ca from behind the three.
Justin, Brooks, and Joel turned around to see Connor and were instantly surprised.
"Connor, when did you co?" Justin asked excitedly.
"I just arrived not long ago..." Connor replied with a smile.
"Why didn't you let know when you ca back to the school?" Justin playfully complained.
"Alright, don't pretend with . I overheard you saying you're out of money, so let treat the three of you to a al!" Connor said while leading them outside the school.
Five minutes later, the four of them arrived at a restaurant outside the school and ordered so dishes.
"Connor, why did you have ti to co see the three of us today?" Justin asked while chuckling.
"I'm leaving Newtown in a few days, so I ca to see you guys!" Connor explained.
"You're leaving?" Justin asked in surprise.
"Yes, I've pretty much wrapped up things in Newtown, so it's ti for to leave!" Connor nodded gently.
Justin sighed softly upon hearing this.
"I've forgotten that we're going to be seniors next year and this sester is about to end. After we beco seniors, we'll need to go for internships, so we'll be separated!" Brooks explained.
"Even if you didn't ntion it, I would've forgotten. We'll be seniors next year!" Connor smiled.
"My family arranged a job for in my hotown. Brooks found an internship, and Joel is planning to stay in the school for postgraduate studies. So, I won't be leaving Newtown for now!" Justin explained.
"I see," Connor nodded thoughtfully.
"By the way, Connor, where are you planning to go after leaving Newtown?" Brooks asked.
"Yarlford!" Connor replied softly.
"Yarlford is great. I've heard that the girls there are pretty..." Brooks grinned.
"Why is everything in your mind so inappropriate?" Justin scolded him, rolling her eyes.
"Hehe..." Connor chuckled, then said, "Since the three of you are planning to intern, how about joining in Yarlford? I'm planning to start a real estate company there. You can help out, and as for salary and benefits, rest assured, they'll be much better than what your families arranged for you."
"What?!" Justin, Brooks, and Joel were all surprised and exchanged incredulous glances.
"I've recognized you, Connor, as the richest second-generation entrepreneur I know. If I follow you, you definitely won't treat unfairly. Plus, I've heard that the girls in Yarlford are beautiful. I'll just consider it a vacation..." Brooks explained with a grin. "But let tell you, Connor, I don't know anything, and I learn slowly. You can't kick out later!"
"Don't worry, I won't..." Connor shook his head.
Looking at Justin, he asked with a smile, "And you, what do you think?"
"I..." Justin hesitated with a thoughtful expression.
"Just say whatever's on your mind. No need to beat around the bush," Connor said with a smile.
"Connor, I know you're well-intentioned, but your company in Yarlford is newly established too. I'm worried that I won't be of any help and might burden you," Justin expressed her concerns.
"Don't worry about that. I'm inviting you guys because I want you to learn and grow. I know your family is well-off, and you're certainly not lacking in money. But I believe that if you work well in my company, you'll learn a lot. Once you truly understand how to run a company, you can consider other options," Connor explained gently.
Justin looked at Connor hesitantly for a mont, then nodded and said, "Alright, since you put it that way, I'll give it a try and join you in Yarlford."
"Great! Once I have everything set up in the company, we'll head over together. I'll take care of things here at school for you guys," Connor confird.
"Sounds good!" Justin and Brooks both nodded in agreent.
