After hearing Bill's words, Aida's expression beca one of despair.
She had never expected Albert to truly abandon her.
"Miss, please don't bla . After all, I'm just following orders. Besides, the item this person took is incredibly important. If he were to leave alive with it, it could put the entire Collie family in danger. So, Mr. Albert had to make this choice, sacrificing you to save the rest of the Collie family," Bill explained further to her.
"Sacrifice to save the Collie family?" She chuckled bitterly after hearing his words. Her expression was filled with helplessness, unsure of what to say.
Originally, Aida had felt so pressure about confronting Colie and Albert's actions. After all, he was her half-brother, and she had received decent treatnt from Albert over the years.
However, hearing Bill's explanation only reinforced her thoughts. She now believed that Albert had no real affection for her. He regarded her as a re tool. Her life or death didn't matter much in his eyes.
Her mother had been abandoned in a similar manner in the past.
And now, the sa thing was happening to her.
If the roles were reversed, if it was Colie instead of her, she was certain Albert wouldn't abandon his own son.
At this point, Aida had made up her mind. If she managed to survive today, she was determined to avenge her mother by getting rid of Colie, Albert, and the others.
"Hardik, Gray, take action!" Bill decided not to waste any more words and shouted expressionlessly.
After hesitating for a mont, Hardik and Gray advanced toward Connor's position.
Since Albert had given up on Aida, they had nothing to worry about anymore. They could simply use the quickest and simplest thod to eliminate Connor. As for whether he would harm her, it was no longer their concern.
Seeing Hardik and Gray slowly approaching, Connor's expression turned helpless. He realized he had underestimated Albert.
Albert was truly devoid of humanity, even abandoning his own daughter.
He glanced at Aida with a helpless look. At this point, she was no longer of any use to him.
Under normal circumstances, kidnappers would likely kill Aida directly.
But he hadn't chosen to harm her. There was no enmity between them, and he didn't want to take innocent lives.
He gently released his hold on her and quietly said, "Go, you're no longer needed here."
"Aren't you going to kill ?" She hesitated and asked him softly.
"Why would I kill you? We don't have any grievances between us." He shook his head.
After a brief mont of hesitation, she unexpectedly hugged him.
Seeing this scene, Bill couldn't help but be taken aback. He couldn't understand why she was hugging Connor.
Later on, he assud that she was probably thanking Connor for sparing her life.
Connor, on the other hand, was puzzled by her actions.
"If you manage to leave here alive, I hope you'll keep my secret. Also, I won't let you off the hook!" she whispered in a voice only audible to them.
"I'm sparing you, and you still want revenge on ?" he sighed helplessly.
"That's a different matter," she replied calmly before letting go of him and walking toward a distance.
A mont later, she reached the area behind Bill and the others. However, she didn't seem intent on leaving. She wanted to see if Connor would survive today.
anwhile, Connor kept a blank expression as he stared at Hardik and Gray.
A confrontation was about to erupt!
"It's comndable that you're willing to let Miss Chen go. Now I'll give you a chance. If you surrender and hand over what you've stolen, I'll go easy on you," Bill, surprised that Connor had released Aida, shouted at Connor.
"Do you really think you can kill today with such confidence?" Connor coldly chuckled.
"Pouring wine without drinking any oneself and forcing others to drink is unfair. Today, I'll show you my strength!" Hardik shouted, charging directly toward Connor's position.
If Connor were only facing Hardik and Gray, with the assistance of the Chi Recieving Pills, he could easily defeat them.
However, the biggest obstacle was Bill. He was a genuine Profound Realm martial artist and his strength might even surpass that of Rachel. Dealing with these three wouldn't be so simple for Connor.
Moreover, Connor couldn't use firearms in this location. If he did, the police would undoubtedly arrive soon, escalating the situation even further.
Hardik mobilized his internal energy, then roared and charged toward Connor's position.

Seeing Connor's lack of evasion, a smug expression appeared on Hardik's face. He was confident in the power of his punch and believed that if it landed on Connor, he would surely be unable to withstand it.

Suddenly, at this critical mont, Connor unleashed a punch toward Hardik's position.
Their fists collided with a deafening noise.
But what surprised Bill and the others was that after the collision, Connor remained motionless in his spot, while Hardik was sent flying backward.
Hardik's body flew through the air for nearly five ters before crashing heavily onto the ground.
