"Mr. Arthur, rest assured, I definitely won't cause any delays!" Kaitlyn replied with a beaming smile. She then strode towards Connor's Heavens Club in her high heels.
Seeing this scene, onlookers wore expressions of confusion. They couldn't fathom why Kaitlyn, who had been invited by Arthur, was now heading over to Connor's side.
The journalists seized the opportunity and surrounded Connor, not wanting to miss any mont.
It finally dawned on Arthur that he had inadvertently handed Connor an unexpected advantage by inviting so many reporters. His intention had been to humiliate Connor, but now he realized the tables had turned. He was the one being humiliated.
Despite Arthur hosting many prominent business figures, they were no match for Kaitlyn and Yvette in terms of prestige.
"Mr. Arthur, don't worry too much. Even though Kaitlyn went over there, she will co back later. Plus, we have more prominent guests here, so in terms of appearances, we have the upper hand," Zayn advised in a hushed tone.
Arthur's expression eased a bit upon hearing this, as he noticed that, though Connor had managed to bring in a few influential guests, the atmosphere on his side seed subdued compared to the lively ambiance on his own.
As more guests arrived, all of them were headed towards Arthur's side.
"You're right. What can two female celebrities on Connor's side do? Anyone with eyes can see that our side is livelier," Arthur whispered.
"Exactly, Mr. Arthur. So, even if Kaitlyn goes there, what's the big deal?" Zayn chuckled.
"True," Arthur nodded slightly, then prepared to greet other guests.
However, at that mont, a black Bentley parked between the two clubs.
Arthur's excitent was evident upon seeing the black Bentley. He knew that soone significant must have been invited by Tenner. The choice of the vehicle was telling.
Standing at the entrance, Arthur eagerly awaited the Bentley's occupants.
After a few seconds, the car door opened slowly.
A man and a woman stepped out of the car.
The man wore a white suit, exuding charisma and handsoness.
The woman was exceptionally beautiful, wearing a black strapless gown that exuded elegance and nobility.
"It's them?" Arthur hadn't yet recognized the duo, but Zayn called out in surprise.
Zayn was familiar with them, as they were instruntal in securing his release from the Trent family's grasp.
"Do you know them?" Arthur asked Zayn, puzzled.
"Jason!" Zayn replied through gritted teeth.
"Jason?" Arthur's expression turned to shock upon hearing the na. Although he didn't personally know Jason, he had heard of the Trent family's power and influence.
"Why would he co here?" Arthur muttered.
"His relationship with Connor is good. It's normal for him to attend Connor's opening ceremony," Zayn explained expressionlessly.
"What are you saying? Jason is here for Connor's opening ceremony?" Arthur's expression was one of disbelief and astonishnt.
"Definitely," Zayn affird in a hushed tone.
As expected, Connor was also taken aback upon seeing Jason. He had not notified Jason beforehand, assuming he had his hands full with various matters. It was surprising to see Jason in attendance.
Vanessa's gaze toward Connor beca even more astonished. She was increasingly impressed by Connor's connections. Not only had he invited Salma and Yvette, but now he also had Jason, a person of such high stature!
"Con, you're really inconsiderate," Jason called out to Connor with a cheerful smile.
"Ja, you're here?" Connor responded, a bit embarrassed.
"You didn't even inform about your club's opening. Were you afraid I'd co and freeload?" Jason retorted with a grin, asking jokingly.
Upon hearing his words, the crowd realized that Connor hadn't invited Jason but he had co of his own accord.
Observing the scene, Vanessa's expression grew even more astonished.
"I thought you had a lot on your plate, so I didn't bother to notify you," Connor explained.
"Then I decided to show up uninvited. So, am I welco or not?" Jason inquired.
"Of course, you're welco. Please, co inside quickly..." Connor turned to Vanessa and introduced her briefly before asking her to escort Jason into the hall.
Seeing Jason, many of Arthur's prominent guests dashed towards Connor, eager to make his acquaintance. They hoped that connecting with Jason could bring them significant benefits, considering the Trent family's vast business interests.
Arthur was baffled by the sudden turn of events. Before he could react, a large portion of his guests had flocked to
Connor's side, seeking favor with Jason.
Arthur had initially believed he held an advantage due to the greater number of people on his side, creating a more lively atmosphere. However, with Jason's arrival, the situation had changed dramatically.
As the dia continued to report on the event, Connor was inadvertently receiving massive publicity.
Growing anxious, Arthur pulled out his phone and tried to call Tenner, hoping for a solution. However, all his attempts ended with a disconnected tone.
Amid his mounting frustration, another sports car pulled over at the roadside.
Stepping out in high heels, Yerba erged from the car.
