The sudden addition of Focalors to the household left the won montarily at a loss.
However, since Makoto, one of the core mbers of Luo Qing's harem, voiced no objections, they had no choice but to accept it.
After all, Makoto had once assured them that every mber of their household would play a vital role in Luo Qing's future, and no one was unnecessary.
But Focalors turned out to be beyond what they had expected.
After spending so ti with her, the won discovered that Focalors seed to know Luo Qing better than they did—his preferences, his personality, even the intricacies of his powers.
It was as if she had known him for a very long ti.
This left the won puzzled, sensing that Luo Qing and Makoto might be keeping sothing from them.
But since neither of them explained, the won had no choice but to pretend nothing was amiss and carry on as usual.
---
Several days passed.
After bringing Focalors ho, Luo Qing's nightly escapades among the won turned the household into a lively and chaotic haven. The sound of "heavenly lodies" echoed through the halls nightly.
One evening, he'd visit one room; the next, he'd grace another. Life couldn't have been more carefree and indulgent.
---
Luo Qing lay sprawled across Bu'er's lap, using her soft thighs as a pillow. He casually reviewed the intelligence and mission reports sent from Fatui Headquarters, summarizing the state of affairs across various nations.
At this point, aside from the Gnosis in his possession, only the Pyro Archon's Gnosis remained unclaid. Most of the Fatui's efforts had now shifted toward Natlan.
But as far as Luo Qing was concerned, this had nothing to do with him anymore.
After barely escaping Celestia's clutches and enduring millennia of grueling trials to master the Authorities, he deserved a break, didn't he?
Let the other Harbingers handle Natlan. Unless Her Majesty the Tsaritsa ca herself—owing adorably and begging him—nothing could move him.
"Luo Qing..."
Makoto, dressed in a loose-fitting loungewear outfit that barely concealed her snow-white skin, approached with a letter in hand. Standing before him, she said:
"The Knights of Favonius need assistance. Tomorrow, you'll head to Mondstadt."
"Hm?" Luo Qing blinked in confusion.
Taking the letter from Makoto, he tore it open and read its contents.
It turned out that recently, the number of monsters appearing near Mondstadt had increased dramatically, and so previously unseen types had erged. The Knights of Favonius were calling a eting with all outlying citizens to coordinate defenses.
It was essentially the magical equivalent of a neighborhood watch eting about recent break-ins.
For Luo Qing, though, this felt unnecessary.
With two deities residing in his household, no monsters dared approach. Even the occasional stray Hilichurl was instantly frozen or incinerated by Rosalyne. His mansion and the area within a kiloter's radius were practically monster-free zones.
Even Slis that wandered in were often caught and cooked as "specialty dishes."
However, since his estate was technically within Mondstadt's territory, the Knights considered him a citizen, too. To their credit, they were quite diligent.
"Why do I have to go?" Luo Qing groaned, rolling over and snuggling further into Bu'er's lap.
"Can't Rosalyne attend in my place?"
"Rosalyne?"
Makoto crossed her arms, letting out a pointed huff.
"Do you want her to scare the Knights to death?"
"..." Luo Qing fell silent, realizing she had a point. Rosalyne showing up would probably give the Knights quite a fright.
"Still, why does it have to be ?"
"Why do you think?"
Makoto crossed her arms, her chest bouncing slightly with the motion.
"You're the most idle person here. If not you, then who?"
"..." Luo Qing had no rebuttal.
It was true—everyone else in the house had responsibilities. Even Ei, who spent most of her ti slacking off, had to handle Inazuma's important matters occasionally. Furina and Focalors both perford in the opera house.
He was the only one who spent his days doing nothing.
"So, I'm going alone?"
"Obviously."
Makoto smirked, adding teasingly, "Isn't it perfect? No one to interrupt you from eting that Knight of Favonius you're so entangled with."
"What's her na again? Eula? Was it?"
"I don't know her! Stop making things up!" Luo Qing retorted, straight-faced. Stealing soone's weapon once didn't count as a connection, did it?
"And how do you even know about that?"
"Hmph, I know plenty."
With that, Makoto turned and headed upstairs, leaving behind a parting remark:
"Go and co back quickly. And don't co back with soone new this ti!"
"..."
Clearly, Makoto still harbored so resentnt about him bringing Focalors ho unannounced.
If this kept up, forget splitting the week—he might not even get one night a month with his wives at this rate...
After Makoto left, Bu'er hesitated before asking, "Luo Qing, who's Eula?"
"..." Luo Qing pretended not to hear.

The Next Day – Dawn
At first light, Luo Qing set out alone toward Mondstadt.
From Falcon Coast, it would take an ordinary person nearly two weeks to reach Mondstadt on foot. But with the eting scheduled for three days later, Makoto had accounted for Luo Qing's travel speed, leaving him no ti to dawdle.
Still, she underestimated just how fast he could travel. At full speed, he could reach Mondstadt in half a day.
So Luo Qing wasn't in any rush. Millennia of trials had taught him patience, and he figured a leisurely walk would be a nice break.
He strolled from Falcon Coast, across the rolling plains of Windrise, soaking in Mondstadt's picturesque scenery.
By noon, he was near the Windrise fields, just outside Mondstadt.
Feeling a bit tired and hungry after his journey, Luo Qing decided to take a short break by the roadside and roast so fish.
As he prepared his al, voices suddenly drifted from the main road nearby.
"Captain, with this month's salary, you'll finally have enough Mora to buy a sword like the one you lost, right?"
"It's not that simple. That sword isn't sothing Mora can buy..."
"Then why have you been saving up so diligently?"
"That's... personal. Don't—"
The girl's voice cut off abruptly.
Her companions, puzzled by her sudden silence, followed her gaze.
Her eyes widened as she stared at the figure by the roadside—a man quietly roasting fish.
That silhouette seed far too familiar.
"I-Isn't that the Fatui Harbinger?!"
