Mondstadt – Eagle's Beach
Kaveh stood with Natalia at the shoreline.
In front of them was a six-story luxury mansion, perched on the edge of the coast. The estate stretched across the beach, separating it from the verdant plains beyond. It was even larger than the Dawn Winery.
After months of backbreaking labor, today was finally the handover day.
Admiring his architectural masterpiece, Kaveh couldn't help but feel a sense of pride.
Once Mr. Luo Qing arrived for inspection, Kaveh would take his paynt—a shimring, gold-embossed check from Snezhnaya—and vanish from the scene.
At last, he would beco a wealthy man, move out of Alhaitham's ho, and no longer endure his sarcasm and judgntal stares.
Though Luo Qing had generously told him to write as many zeroes as he wanted on the check, Kaveh, being a principled professional, decided to charge only the industry average.
Even so, it was a hefty sum—enough to live comfortably for years, free from worries about funding his research or daily expenses.
"Miss Natalia, did Mr. Luo Qing say he'd be moving in today?"
The bright sun blazed overhead, and Kaveh squinted against its glare, his gaze drifting toward the black porcelain toilet stationed under the shade of a nearby tent.
That unconventional ans of transportation left an unforgettable impression on him.
"Yes, Mr. Kaveh. Please be patient," Natalia replied in her usual calm tone.
No sooner had she finished speaking than the toilet flushed, its distinct sound breaking the silence.
The next mont, Luo Qing's figure shot out of the toilet, landing gracefully on its seat.
"Mr. Luo Qing, you've—" Kaveh began, stepping forward.
But before he could finish, the toilet flushed again.
A stunning woman with flowing purple hair erged, dressed in a lavender silk sumr outfit. Her beauty was so breathtaking that Kaveh montarily forgot how to speak.
"Madam," Natalia greeted the woman with a respectful bow.
Kaveh blinked, assuming this striking woman must be Luo Qing's wife. Just as he gathered himself to approach Luo Qing about the estate, the toilet flushed yet again.
This ti, a white-haired beauty of equal magnificence appeared.
"Madam," Natalia repeated, bowing once more.
"Uh..."
Kaveh froze in confusion. Wait, does she an both of them are...?
Before he could process this, the toilet flushed for the third ti.
Out stepped another woman, eerily similar in appearance to the first but with a slightly dazed expression.
"Madam," Natalia said for the third ti.
"..."
Kaveh was completely dumbfounded.
Are all three of these goddesses Luo Qing's wives?
Could it be that each of the mansion's twelve bedrooms was ant for one...?
Hissss...
Kaveh drew in a sharp breath.
Before he could exhale, the toilet flushed yet again. This ti, an elegant woman in a maid's outfit stepped out, her cold, commanding presence making her striking beauty even more intimidating.
Even the maid was this stunning?
So this... is the world of the wealthy.
"Alright, Kaveh, let's take a tour," Luo Qing said, patting Kaveh's shoulder as he admired the grand mansion. The sight of the estate brought a satisfied smile to his face.
"Yes, Mr. Luo Qing..."
Kaveh glanced back at the four gorgeous won following Luo Qing and felt a twinge of mixed emotions.
"I've done my best to et your every requirent in the design."
Leading the group inside, Kaveh began his explanation.
"This is the oversized hot spring bath you requested, capable of accommodating twelve people at once. As per your instructions, I've added various artistic seats and decor..."
"This is the large bedroom, asuring seven ters by five, also designed to accommodate twelve people comfortably."
"And here is the... uh... recreational room you asked for," Kaveh said, his face turning slightly red as he deliberately avoided calling it what it truly was—a playroom.
As the tour continued, the won behind Luo Qing couldn't help but blush.
Makoto, in particular, regretted ever leaving the house's design entirely in Luo Qing's hands.
Is this what a gym looks like?
Why would a gym require such thick soundproofing?!
And those so-called "exercise machines"... was this really about fitness?!
Not to ntion the oddly shaped seats in the hot spring bath—do I even need to ask what you plan to do with those?!
"Finally, the twelve bedrooms are located from the third floor upward, with three rooms per floor. Each has been styled to match your preferences, ranging from cozy hoy designs to elegant literary thes and even swordsmanship motifs," Kaveh concluded.
"I have a question, Mr. Kaveh," Makoto suddenly interjected, raising her hand and pointing at Luo Qing.
"Yes, Miss?"
"Where's his room?"
After all, the purpose of choosing their own rooms was to make it easier to sneak into Luo Qing's room at night.
If they didn't even know where he'd be staying, what was the point?
"Well..." Kaveh glanced at Luo Qing, feeling a bit awkward.
"When we discussed the layout, Mr. Luo Qing told there was no need to designate a master bedroom. He said all twelve rooms would be his master bedroom."
"..."
Makoto turned to stare at Luo Qing, who, far from looking embarrassed, tilted his head slightly, a faintly smug expression on his face.
Luo Qing, are you seriously planning to play favorites like this?
"Fine..." Makoto sighed inwardly. At least she'd made Luo Qing promise to spend one day a week with her alone.
Otherwise, at this rate, I'd be lucky to even see him once every two weeks.
Luckily, she'd arrived early this ti.
With the "fight for rooms" now rendered moot, the won picked their spaces without much fuss. Luo Qing had already tailored each room to their tastes—like Ei's room, which featured an entire wall of light novel shelves.
Satisfied with their choices, the group explored the rest of the mansion. Mondstadt's environnt, under the care of the Anemo Archon, was among the most idyllic in Teyvat, making it the perfect location for a new ho.
"Mr. Luo Qing..."
After finishing the tour, Kaveh pulled Luo Qing aside, rubbing his hands together nervously.
"Does the estate et your expectations?"
"It's fantastic!" Luo Qing clapped Kaveh on the shoulder. "Kaveh, you've outdone yourself—truly a master of your craft!"
"Thank you, Mr. Luo Qing. So, about the final paynt..."
"Just fill out the check and take it to the bank. They'll handle the rest."
"You're too kind!"
Relieved that his months of hard work were finally paying off, Kaveh bead with satisfaction.
"By the way, Mr. Luo Qing, I have a question..."
"Go ahead."
"Those ladies—are they really... all your wives?"
"Oh, that..." Luo Qing stroked his chin, pretending to think. After a mont, he casually replied,
"It's not just those three, you know~"
