"We must find this substance."

Zhao Yi finished his explanation but didn’t leave. Instead, he discussed with Li Ming and Zhang Wei about how to design experints next.

...

For several days in a row, Zhao Yi went to the institute, spending most of his ti in the lab doing research with Li Ming and Zhang Wei.

The people at the institute were quite surprised.

In the eyes of the people at the Biodical Research Institute, Zhao Yi’s work in the lab was considered as ’incidental’ because his primary research direction was in theoretical research on mathematical physics. After all, compared to his achievents in mathematics, the lab’s results were unremarkable.

Internationally, many people didn’t even know Zhao Yi was also a researcher at the Biodical Research Laboratory, thinking he was purely a mathematician and theoretical physicist.

Recently, Zhao Yi had primarily been engaged in particle mathematics research, using Boundary Theory to prove the Supersymtry Problem and introducing mass logic into it. The achievents in particle mathematics had shocked the world.

The science and technology departnt also held this view.

Relevant heads of the departnt had been discussing the research issues of ’Boundary Theory.’ Because ’Boundary Theory’ had spread worldwide, many colleges and research institutes in other countries paid attention to it, and they also wanted to show their emphasis on the research of ’Boundary Theory.’

That’s why Du Defa brought his assistant to Yanhua University to specifically inquire Zhao Yi and propose the establishnt of a ’Mathematical Center for Particle Research.’

Dostic research in the field of theoretical physics had always lagged behind. Having a promising theoretical physicist who had developed a new theory accepted internationally, it was impossible to justify having no dostic support.

After returning to the science and technology departnt, Du Defa made a regular report. He said that Zhao Yi disagreed with being in charge of the Mathematical Center for Particle Research, which surprised everyone.

"Zhao Yi actually disagreed?"

"Why?"

"Isn’t it a good thing to develop his theory?"

Soone speculated the reason, "Maybe it’s because of biological research? I heard that Zhao Yi likes biodical research, and he has achieved good results. He led a team and won the National Science and Technology Progress Award."

"Yes, I know that too!"

"It was awarded just earlier this year. It was Zhao Yi’s team. It seems to be about AIDS research. However, Zhao Yi himself won the Natural Science Award for his mathematical theory."

"He isn’t focusing on his specialty!"

Li Zhenhua, the head of the science and technology departnt and Du Defa’s superior, was responsible for the innovative field of theoretical research.

Li Zhenhua frowned and sighed, continuing, "I think Zhao Yi should focus on studying mathematics rather than dabbling in biodical research. What can he discover in dical research? Can he reach the international pinnacle?"

"Our dostic dical research is constrained. Most of our equipnt is imported from abroad, making it difficult to achieve results in this field."

"Zhao Yi’s refusal to be in charge of the Mathematical Center for Particle Research isn’t a big deal. He is still young and dedicated to academia. It’s normal that he doesn’t want to participate in administrative work. It’s important that he continues to research particle mathematics."

"But he must focus wholeheartedly and not be indecisive."

Li Zhenhua made a decision, "If we can convince Zhao Yi to focus on mathematics research, we will fully support the establishnt of the Mathematical Center for Particle Research."

"Otherwise, we’ll have to research further..."
