The work at the biodical lab does indeed relax Zhao Yi, as he doesn’t really have to strain his brain cells. A quick look at the experint data and progress is all it takes.
These days, he’s been constantly discussing theoretical physics and mathematical fraworks, logic—all of which have been quite headache-inducing. It’s a good idea to change his train of thought for a bit.

Just as Zhao Yi reached the entrance, he t Dai Tianqing, dressed in a white lab coat, coming out.
Dai Tianqing seed to be intentionally welcoming him, he shook hands enthusiastically and said, "Welco renowned international physicist, the newly appointed Science Academy mber, Professor Zhao Yi, your visit brightens our humble abode!"
"With utmost welco, with utmost welco!"
"Do grace us with your guidance on our work!"
Zhao Yi looked at Dai Tianqing with a darkened face, quickly pulled his arm back and asked, "Quit it! Where are you off to?"
"Microbiology lab. To collect samples."
Dai Tianqing seed to recover his normal deanor and said, "A while back, weren’t we talking about the issues with the dical Science Center? We compromised and they surely owe us sothing, right? Now that we’ve started cooperating, so of the materials might as well co directly from the microbiology lab."
By ’materials’ and ’samples,’ he ant virus samples.
The Microbiology Lab specializes in studying bacteria and viruses, with all the necessary technology and equipnt to cultivate bacterial and viral samples.
Zhao Yi nodded in understanding, then casually asked, "How’s your research going?"
"There’s definite progress!"
Dai Tianqing said confidently, "We’ve already selected several species of vertebrate mammals for experintal research, and all have been approved. We’ve already begun the experints. As I am about to collect more samples, we’ll be ready to move into the formal observation phase of the experint in a few days."
"Ah..."
Zhao Yi uttered in bewildernt, "Is that what you an by progress?" His understanding of progress was more along the lines of ’research findings,’ yet here they were, just starting the research—and it hasn’t even truly begun yet.
What kind of progress is this?
"Don’t rush now!"
Dai Tianqing, looking very experienced, lectured him, "The most important aspect of research is reaching the desired experintal condition. As long as the experintal environnt and conditions et expectations, results are bound to appear. To acquire approval at all once, thus being able to concurrently observe and research several species of vertebrate mammals is quite challenging."
"Just think, concurrent observations and analytical tests, making direct comparisons easier and... "
Zhao Yi quickly interrupted him before he could finish, "Keep up the good work!"
As he gave a thumbs up.
Dai Tianqing’s research goal was essentially "to try his luck", yet even that has not started, and yet he’s quite content about making progress. Perhaps he’s managed to deceive himself too?
Now, that’s an ability in itself!
Dai Tianqing, failing to detect Zhao Yi’s sarcasm, genuinely assud he was encouraging him and quickly said, "Zhao Yi, are you sure you don’t want to join our team? You could just talk to Director Yan about the transfer."
"No need, no need!"
Zhao Yi shook his head in dismissal, saying sincerely, "Since I don’t co to the institute often, I won’t interfere with your outcos. You guys keep up the great work, after all, we’re all in this together."
"Keep it up!"
After saying so, he quickly slipped into the building entrance.
