Zhao Yi gave an affirmative reply, "Yes, isn’t it next Friday? I have a theoretical physics research study to do recently, so it’s a good chance for to gain so inspiration."
Ruan Wenye took a slight breath and imdiately inford Xiao Zhibei.
Xiao Zhibei, thrilled, promptly began preparations.
Zhao Yi’s participation in a physics conference was no small matter. Simply put, the impact of dostic quantum physics conferences wasn’t considerable.
China didn’t have many influential quantum physics scholars, and the top physicists were in the Science Academy. Most prominent figures wouldn’t attend as it was challenging to invite to the conference.
But if Zhao Yi decided to co, it would be a different story.
Many scholars wanted to et Zhao Yi. Knowing that he was attending the conference, those who had decided not to attend might reconsider and join the seminar.
The more renowned physicists who attended, the more impactful the conference would be, making it more successful.
...
Upon deciding to participate in the quantum physics academic seminar, Zhao Yi purchased a plane ticket back to Zhengyang, intending to head back to Zhengyang first, then travel to Jiangzhou.
His plan was excellent, but plans can’t keep up with changes.
Upon learning that Zhao Yi was participating in the quantum physics seminar, Nobel laureate Yang Zhenning phoned him, inviting him to Jiangzhou for so exchange of ideas a few days earlier.
Zhao Yi agreed after so consideration.
Yang Zhenning was an exceptional physicist, with many aspects of his discovery of parity nonconservation worth a deep dig. It might help Zhao Yi’s research.
Besides, respecting the old and cherishing the young was a traditional virtue. Yang Zhenning was a respected scholar who was advanced in years. If he invited him over, he would go, even without a specific agenda.
Before leaving, Zhao Yi discussed the publishing issue once more. This ti Qian Hong was very supportive, saying, "Rest assured, I have already handed it over to the publisher. They are currently typesetting and preparing for promotion. Haven’t you received the email yet?"
"Was there?"
Upon opening his mailbox, Zhao Yi saw the email sent by the publisher and a ssage about the royalty paynt confirmation account. He quickly filled in his information, instantly in a joyful mood.
Finally...
Another book was about to be published!
From a money-making perspective, "Particle Boundary Theory" was not a profitable book. Its sales probably relied on his fa. But the importance of "Particle Boundary Theory" lied in the fact that it was his independent theoretical physics research, whereas "Zhao’s Screening thod" was rely an algorithm.
From an academic disdain perspective, theoretical physics seed much more high-end.
Like comparing the adaptations of TV dramas to online novels, being made into a TV series sounded slick even if hardly anyone watched it, and the royalty fee was barely anything. There was still a ’very powerful’ feeling, while making millions or tens of millions from online novels simply felt like typing work.
There’s no help for it!
That’s how society is.
Every industry has its hierarchy of academia. Theoretical physics and pure mathematics indeed held high status in academia.
Purely from the academic perspective, theoretical physics and pure mathematics have a certain standing. There is a certain truth to this; science gave birth to technology, and science is the foundation of the advancent of technology.
"Particle Boundary Theory" was a scientific book, even though it might currently be impossible to verify, or possibly even wrong - it was still science.
"Zhao’s Screening thod" was rely technology.
Science could support the developnt of many technologies, while technology itself had its limitations and was just a way to solve problems.
Zhao Yi, in a good mood, took the flight to Jiangzhou.
The last ti he had been to Jiangzhou was more than two years ago when he participated in the Mathematics Olympic Competition during his senior year in high school. He rembered not having a great impression back then, as his strongest mory was of the overbearing show of affection by Xue Pinggui and Niu Lianhua.
Just those love-dovey displays would have been bearable, but the process got sowhat nauseating, which annoyed him.
"Who would have thought that Niu Lianhua could have a niece as beautiful as Zhao Linlin..."
"She must have taken after her father."
With these thoughts in his mind, Zhao Yi saw the person coming to pick him up. The man was in his forties and kept calling Zhao Yi ’Professor Zhao’, showing him an amount of enthusiasm that made Zhao Yi slightly embarrassed.
"Co, co!"
"Professor Zhao, this way, please get in the car!"
"We are going to the hotel first. Mr. Yang Zhenning is already at Jiangzhou University."
Zhao Yi first went to the hotel to drop off his luggage. He discovered that the hotel was right next to Jiangzhou University. Instead of continuing by car, he decided just to walk.
The middle-aged man was a teacher at Jiangzhou University, Shen Chunming, who was in charge of guest reception. He parked the car at the hotel entrance and followed Zhao, casually introducing the quantum physics seminar, "There are many people coming this ti, so from the Science Academy, along with you and Mr. Yang Zhenning. Also, I heard that both Capital University and Shuimu University have dispatched scholars to attend."
"I heard you are also giving a presentation, is that right? Could it be about particle signal related topics?"
Shen Chunming took the initiative to find a topic of conversation.
Zhao Yi shook his head., "I didn’t prepare anything. Let think, I’ll just do a mathematical analysis of particle energy."
Shen Chunming was surprised, "You didn’t prepare?"
"What’s there to prepare? It’s just giving a presentation." Zhao Yi said nonchalantly.
"Ok, ok." Shen Chunming found it a bit hard to understand.
Zhao Yi didn’t care one way or the other.
He didn’t do much research on Quantum Physics himself, and found that Higgs quantum computing thod was mainly computer-based, other researches were all about string theory, space, symtricity related contents, only the ’Particle Boundary Theory’ was linked with Quantum Physics.
This was purely theoretical physics, or can be classified as mathematical content.
If he was to give a presentation on Quantum Physics, he thought that the ’Particle Boundary Theory’ was worth discussing, where the content of theoretical physics is linked with particles, and he has kept a large part of his findings confidential.
’Particle Boundary Theory’, or energy theory, definitely needed particle analysis.
Zhao Yi thought most about photons, because photons were the most common, the clearest, and the easiest particles to understand, he designed and organized the ’mathematical energy distribution’ of photons, which could be directly presented.
Dissertations accompanied by ’Particle Boundary Theory’, like sub-branches, didn’t concern him at all.
The two arrived at the main gate of Jiangzhou University, Zhao Yi couldn’t help but stop. He saw a red and yellow banner hanging in the entrance with the words "Welco Professor Zhao Yi to visit and interact with our school!"
There were several people standing at the door, very enthusiastically coming up to greet him, attracting the attention of the security guards and even passersby.
There were also two cars that slowed down and rolled their windows down, as the people inside curiously looked over."
"This ..."
"Isn’t this a bit too high profile!"
Zhao Yi felt helpless and went over to exchange pleasantries with the incoming people.
"Welco! Welco, Professor Zhao, we have been expecting you!"
"We heard you were coming, and we prepared early!"
"This ti it’s like coming ho, Nanjiang is your ho, Jiangzhou is also your ho!"
"..."
Zhao Yi was warmly surrounded by a group of people, pushed into the main gate of the university, walked a certain distance in the hubbub, and then entered a sowhat classical building.
He was led into a luxurious office.
The office looked very luxurious, similar to the scene on television where leaders welco foreign guests, with two rows of sofas neatly arranged.
Several people were sitting inside.
Zhao Yi imdiately recognized Yang Zhenning on the right, and Ruan Wenye was sitting in the front. There were several people sitting on the left, none of whom were familiar faces.
When he appeared at the door, everyone in the office stood up and greeted him warmly.
Yang Zhenning also ca over with a smile, reached out and said, "Professor Zhao, long ti no see!"
Zhao Yi shook hands with Yang Zhenning, was introduced to the others, and then was asked to sit down.
Then an awkward situation arose.
The people from the Science Academy Physics Departnt had reserved a seat for him on the left.
Yang Zhenning, however, was pulling Zhao Yi to the right.
Zhao Yi for a mont didn’t know what to do, imdiately looked at Ruan Wenye, who sighed and said, "Just sit on my side!"
Ruan Wenye was seated in the middle, slightly to the left.
Zhao Yi hesitated for a mont, then simply sat down. He surveyed the people in the office and realized that the atmosphere was sowhat strange.
Yang Zhenning just gave him a smile, the other people didn’t even bother to look at him; the people from the Science Academy Physics Departnt also showed dissatisfaction with Yang Zhenning.
"Has there been... a conflict?"
Zhao Yi looked at Ruan Wenye again, who leaned in and whispered, explaining the situation.
