The acceptance party of the conference report was the personnel in charge of reviewing the Nuclear Organization.

For each report conference, the Nuclear Organization would send acceptance personnel to confirm that there were no issues with the report and then include it. Once a team’s report was accepted, it signaled the end of their work.

The job of the acceptance party was to decide whether to accept or reject the report.

There would surely be so other auxiliary research results at the report conference, and controversies had arisen before. However, report conferences with auxiliary research results would often attract many top physicists, so the acceptance party didn’t have to worry about judging the correctness of the research report.

Now things were different.

The report on the possible new Higgs particle had a huge influence. One of the main goals of the Nuclear Organization’s particle collision experint was to search for new particles, especially crucial ones like the God particle.

This discovery had enormous significance for physics.

The acceptance party suddenly beca hesitant.

Normally, accepting the report would an recognition of the report’s content, and rejection would an non-recognition. But few top physicists at the scene spoke up to give their evaluation.

As for those who did give evaluations, like Glasho, could his words be trusted?

The acceptance party personnel hoped that more top physicists would speak up, but the silent physicists left them indecisive. Instead, many computer engineers recognized the final results of the report.

It was hard to say.

The research thod relied on computer algorithms to eliminate most particles, highlighting the position of the discovered new particles. This calculation principle just happened to bypass the internationally accepted standard for discovering new particles. The standard couldn’t make a judgnt, the physicists in the front row wouldn’t speak up, and the acceptance party personnel were sowhat at a loss.

They knew they couldn’t make a decision easily.

If they didn’t accept the report per Glasho’s suggestion, and it were later proven to be correct, Glasho wouldn’t have to bear the responsibility. Instead, they would beco the laughingstock of the physics community, and the Nuclear Organization’s review would beco a joke.

Should they accept it?

But what if it was wrong?

Without a qualitative evaluation from several top physicists, who would dare to accept a report on a particle discovery?

The two acceptance party personnel simply made a call to their superiors and communicated with several top physicists before deciding to temporarily accept the report. What would happen later depended on the situation.

It wasn’t sothing these insignificant people had to worry about.

When he heard the acceptance party’s decision, Glasho was obviously furious. He had said that he wouldn’t accept the report, but they still decided to temporarily accept it.

Glasho felt like he had lost face and angrily said, "It’s nothing but a fraud, and you’ll know your mistake."

He angrily strode out of the venue.

...

Zhao Yi left the venue with a smile on his face, only to be sward by a large group of people.

Among them were so physicists, but most were computer engineers.

Zhao Yi didn’t have much fa or influence in the physics community, but he was at the top of the pyramid in terms of math and computer science.

The core of the research report presented at the conference was computer algorithms.

A lot of people hadn’t thought it was possible to use computer algorithms to analyze particle collision data to discover new particles.

A group of people ca over and asked all kinds of questions--

"How did you co up with this?"

"In your designed program, you only included a part of the screening thod, right? I’ve studied the screening thod, it’s very powerful!"

"This is truly an interesting study. If the results are proven to be true, maybe you’ll get the Nobel Prize in Physics."

"Shouldn’t it be the Turing Award?"

"I think so too since most of the content is computer-related, but it does have a significant impact on particle models!"

Zhao Yi smiled and communicated with them while answering various questions. It wasn’t until more than half an hour later that he left the crowd.

After completing the research report, many people from the dostic team were preparing to go back. Their work was done.

Chen Ming was packing up his things, as he had booked a flight for the next day.

Zhao Yi also booked a flight for the next day, but he wasn’t sure whether he should go back yet because the acceptance party hadn’t given a definitive response.

Ruan Wenye suggested, "Just stay here with . Let them go back first, and wait for the final news."

Zhao Yi was a bit frustrated as he couldn’t wait to go back, but the Nuclear Organization acted swiftly.

Facing the major issue of discovering a suspected Higgs particle, they couldn’t afford to be slow. As soon as the report was finished, the Nuclear Organization held an internal eting.

Kibor, a mber of the Nuclear Organization’s board of directors, attended the eting and described his involvent in the research process.

At 5 p.m. that day, Kibor sent a ssage saying that the Nuclear Organization decided to hold an internal academic conference. They would invite Zhao Yi to present his research at the conference, and they would discuss and draw a conclusion afterward. The most likely scenario was that they would use Zhao Yi’s program to verify the data of other partitions and Shu Yan’s data from the previous experint.

If the results were consistent with the research conclusions, they would confirm the discovery of a new particle.

Of course.

This was the case only if nothing went wrong.

So Zhao Yi couldn’t go back yet.

It wasn’t unexpected.

The discovery of a new particle was a very significant issue.
