After conducting two experints in a row, many reporters failed to grasp the specifics, because the targets appeared to self-destruct directly without being hit by any other external strike.

But they knew that the real core experint had yet to co, because before the experints began, the relevant departnts had issued a notification stating that a large-scale weapons test was about to be carried out, and they even disclosed the location of the target and issued a series of warnings.

A large-scale test, definitely implies range and rapid deploynt—for our country, it’s like a delivery with destructive capabilities.

This was the true core of the matter.

Indeed!

Next, the screen showed a delivery apparatus, and after a series of launch preparations, the commander announced the official start.

The delivery apparatus soared into the sky with great vigor, quickly shrinking to a tiny black dot, until it disappeared into the clouds, out of sight.

Normally, the fast delivery device would ascend to an altitude of more than one hundred fifty kiloters in a matter of minutes, with top speeds reaching seven kiloters per second.

This speed was quite terrifying, and not easy to lock onto with radar signals.

Very quickly.

The screen switched to a satellite perspective.

From the satellite’s cara angle, the delivery apparatus maintained its rampant stance, and many were awed by its valiant posture.

At that mont, the commander shouted the slogan again, "Prepare to strike!"

"3, 2, 1!"

Two-second delay.

"Bang!"

From the satellite’s perspective, a plu of smoke could clearly be seen erupting, but the burning wasn’t intense, and the fragnts that fell into the atmosphere actually grew brighter.

A group of reporters were stunned, "What’s going on? Why did it self-destruct again?"

"Wasn’t the delivery apparatus supposed to strike the target? Or was the delivery apparatus itself the target?"

"This is too terrifying!"

"Exploding in place in space over a hundred kiloters away? How is that possible?"

"Could it really be self-destruction?"

Although so still ntioned the word "self-destruct," after the previous experints, the self-destruction theory was obviously not tenable.

The experinters did not offer a detailed explanation but proceeded to the next experint, where a satellite appeared on screen, looking sowhat antiquated, a thirty-year-old satellite which by now was almost useless.

Obviously.

This satellite was the subject of the experint, and it seed to still be operating normally, as could be seen by the flashing red light on its exterior.

Once everything was ready, the commander issued the command once more.

"3, 2, 1—"

No explosion!

All that could be noticed on the screen was that the small red light on the satellite suddenly dimd.

"Why did it suddenly go dim? What exactly happened?"

"Good thing it didn’t explode this ti!"

"Was the experint a success? Or was it not? I still don’t understand."

"What exactly is this experint about!"

After the fourth experint concluded, the experintal work was not completely over.

The experinters launched a small anti-gravity propulsion device, which quickly ascended into space and then accurately captured the old satellite. Crew in space suits exited their vessel to secure the satellite on the platform above the anti-gravity device, and only then announced the completion of the mission and prepared to descend.

The last task was to recover the decommissioned satellite.

Though it was just an additional task, it still showcased so astounding technology that no other international entity could perform, such as accurately using a spacecraft to capture satellites in space. Normally, decommissioned satellites are either controlled to crash into the Earth’s surface or directly into the ocean.

So, looking at it from another perspective, if one could accurately capture a satellite in space, could they not also precisely capture other satellites? Including the space station orbiting at four hundred kiloters.

The thought alone was frightening.

Because satellites are entirely defenseless, capturing one accurately ans all satellites below that altitude—including the space station at four hundred kiloters—could be accurately captured.

Upon deeper reflection, many found the high-tech display in the final phases of the experint to be the most shocking.

Of course.

The previous four experints were shocking as well, but the majority couldn’t comprehend why the targets would explode on the spot without any external force; the sa was true for the delivery device that ascended into space.

That evening, the official announcent declared, "The Z-wave strike experint was a complete success!"

Though the announcent had only a few sentences, the success of the experint was significant news, aning everything went according to plan.

At this ti, many dia outlets also reported on this, and in combination with the official announcent, it suddenly made sense— "Z-wave strike?"

"Could it be a completely new way of striking? Completely invisible? I wonder if radar can detect it!"

"If radar can’t detect it, that would be truly terrifying!"

The process of the experint was so magical that many didn’t understand what they had seen.

It was only now that a series of analysis reports ca out explaining the whole content of the experint, which was to demonstrate a brand new striking technology.

The first three experints were understandable, but the last experint made relevant institutions think of sothing—

Energy beams!

Researchers from the Institute of chanics stepped forward to suggest, "The last experint is very similar to energy beam interference with electronic circuits."
