It seemed that he wasn't so lucky. He hadn't known with 100% certainty whether a guild like these two would have an S-tier, but it seemed that question was going to be answered for him.

If Cheri was correct about the role the two guilds played in the plans of Legacy, then they would very likely hide their true power. But whatever power it was they were hiding would certainly make itself known the moment there was true danger of their plans collapsing.

Sylas would say that killing all their elders and heavily injuring not just one, but both of their leaders certainly qualified.

In the end, Sylas had only temporarily sealed Dominan and pinned down Ryn because the extra effort it would take to kill them would cost him everything else.

There was a thin margin between what looked like his dominating victory just now and his death.

In order to pin down Ryn like he had, he had to basically sacrifice the use of the Death Seal for the entire rest of the battle. There was a reason he had thrown his Grim Blade.

And in order to pin down Dominan, he had essentially done the same with the Life Seal, but that was only half of it. He also had to burn away a large amount of his Will just to switch and change the man's perception of time like he had.

If not for Dominan feeling like his mind was yo-yoing between eras and epochs of time, there was no way that Sylas could have dealt with him as easily.

Those two were definitely on another level pared to the other elders, and he had a feeling that they were only the tip of the iceberg as far as the two guilds were concerned.

The moment he dealt with Dominan, that bore out because Sylas felt a disturbance in the void that could have only e from an S-tier.

They needed to go.

Sylas controlled the Hollow Ship to appear by them, and the two seemed to step through the void. When they appeared again, they were already within the ship.

Without even the time to greet his parents or explain anything to Cheri, Sylas took manual control of the ship and shot into the distance, pouring out large amounts of Aether Stones to sustain its movement.

Not a single part of this was free. But luckily for him, he had had the mining treasure of the Seeing Eye Guild to build his wealth.

During the week it took him to refine this ship into his own treasure, he had been mining for Aether Stone at the same time. It wasn't as effective on the Demi-God Plane as it was on the Mortal, at least not range-wise.

But it didn't need to be, especially when Earth was pumping out a ridiculous amount of Aether Stones itself as well.

The ship shook, and Sylas frowned, but it didn't slow his actions down in the slightest.

Cheri found herself looking around in shock as Sylas maneuvered the ship through what seemed like a storm of wild Aether.

A ship like this… was it even possible for a D-tier to have? Just what level were the Grimblades at? None of it made any sense.

S-tiers were impossibly rare, so one could imagine that S-tier treasures were even more so. At the very least, even if there were more of them than there were S-tiers, they would be hoarded by those with the power to hoard them.

But between the calligraphy brush and this ship, Sylas seemed to have such treasures in spades.

Cheri's eyes finally landed on the two that Sylas had saved earlier. The two of them sat side by side. They seemed to have been waiting patiently for something.

She had seen hints of relief in their eyes when they spotted Sylas, and then they gave her a soft acknowledgment when they saw that she was looking at them.

For some reason, Cheri found herself feeling grateful that she had changed into her Legacy garb. If she was wearing what she normally wore, she would feel highly unfortable.

She hadn't yet figured out just why she felt like this, though… it was a pletely foreign feeling.

Sylas couldn't pay much attention to any of the nuances of the munication happening behind him. He was shooting out of the atmosphere of the planet at that moment, his eyes darting around as though he was looking for a viable escape path.

The vessel was too strong. Even an S-tier couldn't destroy it with a few strikes, and that was setting aside its stealth abilities. But Sylas' Rune Mastery still wasn't strong enough to hide from an S-tier in the first place.

It wasn't even strong enough to hide from an A-tier. The only reason he managed to catch the few he had off guard was because of the Lust Seed's interference.

If things kept going like this, he would run out of Aether Stones. He was burning through a large amount of them not only to maintain speed, but also to defend.

The moment they ran out, they would be sitting ducks.

His jaw set.

On the outside of the ship, an older man and an older woman zipped through the starry skies after the ship. Their expressions seemed quite leisurely, but there was a sharpness in their eyes. Neither municated with the other, but there seemed to be something… peculiar about them.

They looked about 10 years older than Ryn and Stone had, in a mortal sense, anyway. In reality, they were probably tens of times their age. They were also much more conservatively dressed despite how handsome the older man was and how beautiful the older woman was.

But at that moment, the peculiar light in the latter's gaze was only growing stronger and stronger.

The more she interacted with the ship and Sylas' Will and aura, the more sure she was about what she had sensed before and what was happening here.

The Virtue of Lust.

And in that moment, a warning that Sylas had received not long ago came to fruition.

With this man…

Wasn't she guaranteed a child?

Not only would she be guaranteed a child, but imagine the bloodline evolution and experimentation they could do if they didn't have to worry about low pregnancy rates.

Her eyes blazed with passion.
