Elliot didn’t even look ahead, as it was useless. He focused on pushing as hard as he could, pushing his strength to the absolute limit.

But in front of him... The tentacle had already hit the rat head-on.

Unlike last ti, this ti, the rat knew how to hold on to it, so it didn’t fly backwards. Instead, it began to be dragged along by the other tentacle.

The rat forced itself to try to stop the tentacle, while Elliot forced himself to try to get out of there.

It was a race against ti.

But soon, Elliot had managed to get out a few inches, still far from what he needed.

anwhile, the tentacle was practically in front of him. Given its position, it was going to hit him in the head, which would have been instant death.

The rat seed desperate to stop it, but in the end, it couldn’t and ended up flying backwards, hitting the wall above Elliot’s head with the impact.

Elliot and the incoming tentacle were face to face.

Only a few ters separated them, but one was an attacker and the other didn’t even qualify as a defender. He was defenseless, waiting for the attacker to tear him apart.

In the distance, Jenna, who had recovered from the previous blow and was trying to restrain the octopus, felt helpless.

There was nothing she could do.

"The difference is too great..." crossed her mind.

Yes, the difference was too great.

Even Elliot knew it.

"But if there’s one thing I know, it’s that until I die, nothing is over. Even if it’s at the last second... One more ti."

He turned his head sharply to one side and imdiately raised his right hand toward the sword. The few inches he had managed to pull out earlier were just enough for this.

Soon his right hand was firmly gripping the sword, and he pulled on it, as if trying to pull the sword toward him. But it was so firmly stuck in the wall in a strange way that pulling it like that didn’t budge it.

Despite his strength, the sword remained firmly in place and instead served to pull Elliot toward it.

"AGHHHHHHH!" Perhaps to give himself strength or to let out as much air as he could, his cry echoed everywhere, and then...

*BOOOOOOOM*

A powerful impact resounded.

In the distance, Jenna closed her eyes and looked away in pain.

But at the sa ti, she seed to hear powerful debris falling to the ground and a strange sound of pain emitted by the octopus. So she turned her face back to the front.

Then she saw several extrely heavy pieces of debris fall onto the octopus’s body, and, at the sa ti, she saw Elliot running on the tentacle that must have killed him a mont ago. He was holding the sword in his hand.

"Jenna, after this, we have 20 seconds to escape. Get ready to cross to the other side!" Elliot shouted at her, alerting her and returning her to her senses.

She finally understood what Elliot had been trying to do.

One of the tentacles she was trying to keep destroyed suddenly began to heal in front of her and tried to strike Elliot.

"Don’t even think about it!" she shouted, jumping toward it and taking advantage of the fact that it wasn’t completely regenerated to destroy it again.

Elliot had his attention fixed on the magical heart once again, but this ti, thanks to the octopus writhing in pain from the bars the goblin was throwing at it, it was too easy to attack him.

So he managed to get there quickly and summon his rat again, forcing it to be a springboard for him.

As he ran, he placed his feet precisely on the rat’s hands and propelled himself upward with the strength of both. On the other side, the goblin threw two heavy bars to the ground and, with all his strength, aid them at the octopus’s head.

In a way, it was a combined attack, one from above and the other from below.

Although the octopus could see the one coming from below and tried to do sothing about it, it didn’t notice that two heavy bars made of so extrely hard material were coming toward its head.

The octopus made a strange, bloodcurdling noise and tried to defend itself with all its tentacles at once. Several of them twisted into an impossible position and pointed at Elliot, confirming his earlier suspicions.

These tentacles could attack the main body. Whether because of their length and elasticity or because of this octopus’s ability, that was easy to predict. That’s why it was sothing he had planned for.

He continued his attack, which the octopus took head-on, as it could not avoid it. Both seed to stare at each other, silently roaring like beasts, trying to draw strength from nowhere.

One to resist and hurry, the other to strike in the right place and quickly enough to have ti to dodge the tentacles rushing toward him.

Jenna did her part by resisting several of them. She even slowed one down, which sohow spread to the others and bought Elliot so ti, but ti was limited, as her strength was limited. Even so, keeping two tentacles trying to heal themselves at bay and two more trying to attack her was an amazing feat, which she had achieved solely through her extraordinary mastery of the sword.

At one point, Elliot reached the front of the octopus’s head, right in front of its eyes. Then, the heavy bars coming from above arrived before him, dragged by the force of gravity and all the goblin’s strength.

They fell with precision onto the upper part of its body, shaking its insides and internal organs, catching it off guard. The impact suddenly dropped its defenses to their lowest point, while the speed of its attack slowed considerably. But sohow, its healing seed to increase.

Although not by much.

Elliot’s blow landed milliseconds later, striking where the magic heart was located. This further shook its defenses and caused its tentacles to veer off course.

At the sa ti, the two tentacles that seed to be healing faster fell to the ground, allowing Jenna to finally break free.

Elliot, who was in midair, used the tentacles that reached him to quickly descend to the ground, as the previous impact caused them to pass by him without hitting him.

He imdiately looked at Jenna and shouted, "Run as fast as you can, we don’t have much ti!"
